The TEA is that this song was gonna be part of Nicole’s solo album but it was scrapped from the album because all of Nicole’s solo singles flopped and no album was released. So they just put this song on PCD’s second album so, obviously, the song is ALL Nicole (even the backup vocals). So the other dolls are basically “singing” Nicole’s backup vocals and the same thing happened with WIGU. So I’d be pissed too like Melody when she’s also a singer ( an opera singer also btw) and all I’m doing in the group is backup dancing and singing somebody else’s song with zero vocals from herself. Melody did had some lines and ad libs on other songs but compared to Nicole it was pretty much a joke.
And Nicole ALWAYS struggles sometimes through the song! If they would have gave melody the damn chorus or one of the high notes at the end, Nicole wouldn’t have to worry about singing the chorus, adlibs, high notes, and backing vocals and harmonies all at once! Lmao!

@@Dmattmc Imagine not even getting to be a background singer or at least having your pre-recorded vocals used in your own band like wtf It's not even as if the others are such terrible singers. Not throwing any shade but pretty much every girl group has at least one that can barely sing and they mostly lipsync anyway so there's literally no excuse for this pcd situation..
Nicole acknowledge the past issues and said it's not gonna be like it was before... the xfactor performance was just a decoy since all of the girls are recording now..
This is the most pointless thing ive ever seen, why give those mics if they not singing.And even get me started on the choreography, that wouldn't have been needed if they sang without playback. I really hope and pray the other girls actually sing on this new tour, cuz its what the fans want.

Actually back then they re-recorded When I Grow Up for the video which had all the members vocals in it.
