So glad I found your review. Received my Recons today. Instructions for on/off are wrong. I couldn't get mine to work and was about to return them. I didn't know I had to press and hold on/off button. Instructions simply said to rotate knob to turn on.

My wife and I each have a pair of Walkers similar to this. The on/off switch works by just turning the wheel/ knob that also adjusts the volume. They work pretty well. Keep the reviews coming.

The mic, speakers & sound quality & positioning are a definite upgrade over my Razor Slims. NRR is a little better. Only con is not gel ear pads and they aren't easily removable and have to be cut off. Definitely better than Razors IMO. Mine did not have Bluetooth even tho site said they did.

Very likely auto-off setting (other settings) will be from the phone app via Bluetooth using the new Recon specific walkie talkie module. Great review on these new ear pros….. thanks and now SUBBED!

I've noticed that you seem to wear ovet the ear more than in ear. Do you prefer those or just testing a bunch of them? Ive seen in the ear muffs on the channel before
I used to wear in the ear often, not sure why I stopped. The walkers silencers I have are dope
I’ve only had Peltor or whatever they are for electronic ears. Wonder how they compare.
Peltors are more expensive but nicer
I currently have the Walkers Xcel and really like them. Considering switching to these though. You have used both, which one do you feel is better? Both have a 26 NRR which I like so mostly curious about sound quality and comfort.
Somewhat similar, I think these are slightly nicer / more comfy

My worry is I have gels for my Xcels and they are very comfortable where there is no option for gels on the Recon.
But if the sound quality build quality is better it may be worth the switch.
What do you think about these compared to the axil trackr blus, I believe they both have Bluetooth capability right?
As long as Axil has Tim Kennedy as a paid influencer I can’t use or recommend any of their products.
Is the audio stereo or just mono?
