As someone who lives in Australia german gear is super hard to come by and very expensive, your videos give me a way of seeing them as they once looked in the 40s :)
The place you found this canister must be a good soild not like in Vietnam i used to been there and metal dectecting but most of the find was very bad condidtion
Thanks for using my idea man also did you consider my request as German gear is hard to get where I am from any items would be great man and keep up the good work

And Awsome to see a personal number on it stil
Did you find that in the ground? If you did not many of the gas mask canisters are preserved that good.
Yes i findin it in the ground. I was surprised by the good condition of the metal, too.
totally Awesome Bud

So good!!!!!!! Bravo!!!
Why you don't use the vinegar?
You have three hands, it's funny ))))))
But the restoration is good!
1:25 is that a solution of some kind or just hot water?
And what's that solution? 3:30
1:25 - is just water. 3:30 - is a solution of oxalic acid.
Lots of work just leave rusty items items in cleaning vinegar for 24 hrs. hose off & dry quickly.Nice job though mate
kerry mcmanus vinegar would destroy paint
@@williamkroft7180 better to save metal than paint
Yes it's oxalic acid
What country do you live?
interesting, I always thought these were ammo boxes
Same
Thanks for using my idea man also did you consider my request as German gear is hard to get where I am from any items would be great man and keep up the good work
Why does it look like a trash can lol
Thumb down for the music.
OK, there will be no more music in my videos next time.
I actually like the music
What's with all the music and the fast forwarding?
