Achieving quality restorations with CAD/CAM dentistry.
I am material scientist, entering in the world of glass ceramics for dentistry. Watching your videos is really helpful to understand the needs of the workflow! Thx
All the best to you in this journey.
You certainly know your onions. So impressive.

Another great video! Thank you Dr. Klim . I tried finding a distributor that would deliver this product in Canada. Any idea?

Hi james i am a humble dentist from Chile, cerec user since 2020, your philosophy inspire me to do my best in every case, but i made a transition from indirect and external laboratory who used e-max inyection sistem to a charside feldesptic sistem (triluxe forte and akzent plus stains. And i don’t like the results, for economics reasons, i I have not bought yet the e-max cad bloks and the miyo 850 glaze or ivoclare stains sistems. Now, do you have in mind to do a mentoring program, i realy want to do the next step but i need to feel safe and confident with the tecnique. a big hug and hope you keep doing what you love the most
Hi Ignacio. You are going in a good direction. The Ivocolor glaze is a better option for Triluxe, which can be aesthetic in some circumstances. When it comes to e.max, 850 MiYO is definitely the best. I have two mentoring options. One is my online training at www.cadstar.org. There are a lot of videos, similar to RUclips that will walk the viewer through the process. The other option is to come to the States and take several hands-on classes. I know it is a long way, but does work. I have attendees from all over the world. Hope this helps. All the best.
Nice work, thank you for the presentation. Is there a particular crystallization schedule that you like to use when applying the MiYO 850 to the purple (non-fired) eMax? Thank you!
All the e.max crystallization cycles work. All the best.
@@KlimDDS Thanks for your quick reply!
Also, with two or fewer restorations, I use the smaller firing tray with the speed cycle. 850 works with all the cycles.
Great results! I think it's time to upgrade stain and glaze. Question regarding zirconia, I use katana (haven't tried the katana one yet but I'm excited to see it and hear your thoughts) I use your zirconia finishing kit with the pre sintering polishing and post sintering and am very happy with the results. For situations where I want to add some buccal and maybe lingual characteristics with stain and leave to occlusal as polish only, is this system a good option post sintering stain and glaze on zirconia or is infiltration better? If so is there a recommendation for fire program on then CS6 oven for glazing and staining zirconia?
Good question. MiYO 850 is for e.max only. I use three options for coloring zirconia. As you mentioned, infiltration, Ivocolar stain and glaze, and the best are MiYO regular colors. However, MiYO typically has a long cycle and is not practical for one appointment turnaround, but the most aesthetic effect. For zirconia stain and glaze efficient turnaround, Ivocolar works the best.
Adam. Yes, Katana One is a 4Y zirconia, whereas Katana is a 5Y, the minimum thickness for Katana. One is 0.8mm. So yes, I am a fan of Katana One. There are three glaze systems I use. MiYO 850 for pre-cyrstallized e.max, Regular MiYO for zirconia, but has a long firing cycle. And Ivocolor, a quicker option for zirconia stain and glaze, and excellent on Empress and Vita Blocks. All these systems can be fired in the CS6. However, they must be programed in.
Correct. Use the MiYO Esthetic, design more for zirconia. It is a separate system from MiYO 850 but is the standard on Zirconia and works well on Katana. All the best.
Thank you for your video. What brush do you use?

Do you ever get object fix mixed in the glaze? If so how best to remove?
Take a microtip applicator, the one used for bonding procedures. Remove ObjectFix residue, and reglaze.
The video is inspiring me
Question…Is the 850 the same as the regular Miyo system? I’ve never tried my Miyo kit on unsintered Emax
The 850 system is a different system than the regular MiYO. Must have the 850 for uncrystallised e.max. All the best.
Big hello from Egypt
Can I know the name of that amazing system
Hello back to Egypt. This was accomplished on the Primescan and Primemill. The finishing liquid brush-on ceramic is MiYO 850 my Jensen. Do a web search on where Jensen can be ordered in Europe. All the best.
