hey dereck! i don't remember their methods. i learned the benefits of preparing stock meals for my growing family. soaking beans and washing them is part of meal prep which i still enjoy! good food makes life so enjoyable! be safe and well
Hey Dereck, Having soup is one reason I actually look forward to the colder weather of Winter. It is so much more enjoyable at that time of year. Take care Dereck
Sorry you got caught up on the meth thing. Thank God you stopped Sir. I've had many friends succumb to that evil crap. Saw them lose everything they have including their own instruments . Just another reason why you Sir are an awesome human being. As I've said and commented " superstar"!!!. Have a great day.
I love 3Ds! They opened for Pavement in Madison, WI at the Barrymore. They were very trancey and melodic. Missed out on buying the LP. Pavement were also memorable.
Please keep speaking your mind Dereck it definitely teaches me some things here and there. Its always a good thing seeing you post. Never mad when you dont of course, but its always nice to see one more Dereck video just to know youre doing well.
Somebody mentioned J Dilla sampling The Dragon in a comment section of the full album post. Coincidently a new ‘What’s in my bag?’ video dropped today from Amoeba featuring Pete Rock & Common and guess which Lp one of them selected.
Charly Records had connections to BYG as after that label folded, Jean-Luc Young (the "Y" of BYG) founded Charly. Given a lot of shady things went on with BYG, it's no surprise that continued on with Charly. The "G" of BYG, Jean Geogakarakos founded Celluloid Records.

Yes, most all of those particular bandmates are dead because of meth.
I work from home and I wear the same shirt for like a week straight. Saves on laundry 😂
Practical.

Thanks for the Joe Pass and Vangelis name drops. Haven't heard Virtuoso in an age. Nice escape from the poison of our times.👍🎶
Really enjoy your food stories. I think I'll eat.

Chemicals are mostly a death trip ❤
The dragon doesn't get enough credit as it should..this is one album that sets the flight pattern....

Vive vangelis !
Now I want to watch Chariots Of Fire - had zero interest when it came out, and wrote it off until opening my mind the past couple decades or so
