Jacob is right. You can find vintage tees. You have to go out and look for them every day or week. Whatever fits your schedule. I just found 3 vintage tees in the past week by hitting up my local thrift stores and checking every rack of tees. I don't live in a big city. Just go out and hustle!!
That Marino piece was Fire! Grail for me too I used to collect Marino Cards. Laces out Dan! $32 dollars is a major steal, someone got it on the cheap w the quickness.
I just started selling on depop. My advice is if you find something that's light weight at the bins just pick it up and buy it. The first things I sold were a beanie and pants I threw in my bag just because they were really light and in good condition.
Been in plus 1 for over a year been watching Jacob since I was in highschool I’m 23 now but the inspiration he’s giving me to go out and thrift and just hustle at what I’m passionate about is amazing I genuinely look forward to every upload every week these videos mean a lot and helped a lot in the past Preciate the content bro
It bothers me when people say that reselling isn’t an actual job, or they’re scamming people by selling pieces for higher price for what they buy for. It’s crazy how much time goes into reselling, you gotta wake up early just to hit thrift shops or bins, waste a lot of gas going to every shop and sometimes end the day empty handed. It’s honestly a tough job and people really don’t see that. Great video jacob I love this series bro 🤍
hey jacob first off love the vids. anyways could you do a video on how you clean the items you find? do you wash them or just steam? im new to the whole clothes reselling and looking for any info. thank you
Great video ! If you can, tell me what size I should get for the Onyx slides as I've seen you wear them in recent videos, it would be very helpful. I am a tts 8.5, should I get a 9 or a 10?
Hey bro I was one of the people saying you could only do it because of your following, i guess it is possible for other people to do it just not as quick. Great video Jacob
Yeah its all good man, I dont even say that to hate or anything, I just want to be clear that anyone can do it and there are always other people in the videos with no following that do it. But of course i will be able to do it faster and I want to be honest about that you know?
Damn dude your videos are always so entertaining while being educational/helpful. Been really liking this series. Out of curiosity, what mic do you use when you record?
I find alot of people cry 'oh i cant find carhartt i cant find patagonia blah blah' they don't understand exactly what you said, stuff is regional. I find a tonne of Polo in my local area and have literally never once found patagonia or carhartt, just have to understand your area and learn what you can cash in on.
any way you could add in what you’re selling stuff for and the kind of profit margins you’re making on individual pieces? i know it varies for all sellers but i’m always curious to know what is more valuable vs less and how you determine that.
Ayo Jacob, this has nothing to do with the video but, what is your personal opinion on buying/selling on Reddit. There are a lot of sub Reddits for vintage and streetwear but idk if I trust them.
Jey Jacub, huge fan. Do you think you could do a challenge where you start like a grailed or IG selling page from the ground up? That way we can get tips and tricks for growing our sites.
Bro, UK thrift stores seem to be so rare, and so much more expensive than the USA. Its so annoying, but I'll try and come back when the next episode comes out with the results
Yeah I think it would be cool but there are a couple reasons I didn't do that. 1 - The only difference is that it would take longer, the items I show are items anyone can sell and people can check ebay and grailed to verify that these items do sell for more than what I pay 2 - I have to pay my parents bills and I already started with no following, that is how this channel came to be in the first place. I didn't just have a following, i made videos like this for years of me reselling so there is still proof that it is doable by any random person. 3 - the last reason is, that the intent of the video is not to show the audience that they can do it too. The intent of the video is to get $5,000 for my next video series. Even though I do believe people can do it, I purposefully did not give some message at the beginning saying "you can do this right now and make money"
Hi Jacob, greetings from Poland i like watching your serie from thrift store. I have recently started my adventure with a thrift store myself Peace. :D
Well technically I started with less than a penny, I started with 0 dollars. I’m not sure if you saw the first episode but I sold an item before I bought it which is common in the goodwill bins. People will stay there all day and find stuff and often times when people find stuff, they will sell to other pickers. So I started with less than a penny to be specific.
@@starrlife yeah I saw you found something and finessed it on the spot that was a good move I know you can't get shit for a penny at the bins. I've seen all of the videos. I've actually seen most of your videos in general. And I guess you te hnically did start out with a penny. You just didn't use it lol
No lie, if you put your signature overtop of the supreme logo on the fake supreme hoodie I will buy it if you sell it for dirty cheap. (I would embroider your signature, I’ve recently go into hand embroidery)
Appreciate the love brodyyy!!

When I heard that chaching sound from the donations part in the beginning, I thought I recieved a sell from eBay hahah

Let’s go!! Numberrrssss

Hahahahahaha I’m dead. I think it’s because I was thinking of a hoodie as a clothing item
What tripod is that?
You should’ve made a new profile for this series. It would’ve been more interesting and more like everything is coming from the penny.
Yeah I think it would be cool but there are a couple reasons I didn't do that.

You didn't really start out with a penny but still its pretty cool.
