Thank you for the tribute to my dad at the start, everyone from trials really made him happy, he loved to ride with you all. Rest easy dad, glad you’re not in pain anymore. Now you’re with your dad and dogs. A hard working, brave, strong man of gold. You will be missed by many ❤
Now your talkin !! great to see the original yams from back in the day !! great episode ase usual , hows about the older shercos from about 2008ish pre ( bloody computers ) lol !! well done boyo !!!!!
Aye!! They are a classic but quite the beast to ride. Shame they weigh the same as a house lol would love to get my hands on the original Bultaco Sherco
Hi Danny didn't know how to contact you.but is the fim website having a problem. I got the whole trial season but carnt watch anything now.i log in and it just says error.on all videos.
I remember the majesty Paul Edmonson had, John made a low saddle version for eddy coz he was a bit, er vertically challenged at the time. John built my 200 majesty engine for my Sammy Miller high boy TY frame when I ride for sam . Happy days
The TY250 was a pretty dreadful piece of kit! Majesty conversions made them look different, but performance didnt change much. TY175 modified in the right way, is better than almost all Fantic's, and there is no need to increase the capacity, or mess around with laying the shocks down. Sadly, no one really takes these bikes seriously now, even though they can be made to work very well indeed, and in modified form are much more effective than any TLR, no matter how much has been spent. Agree completely with your views on the 250, and to be honest the 200 isnt much better, as the increased capacity in most cases, means a motor which wont rev out properly, and is often rattly.
@@TrialTube I owned 2 TY250s. They are truly awful bikes, but back then in comparison to the Spanish stuff, they were ultra reliable, and it was possible to ride them, rather than spend a good deal of time working on them.
totally agree. I never could dig the 250 -- but the 175 was fun. but this quote: " TY175 modified in the right way, is better than almost all Fantic's, and there is no need to increase the capacity, or mess around with laying the shocks down. I am looking at an 86 RTL now. Am I smoking crank?
@@pinsxthree I would suggest avoiding RTLs unless you are looking for a collectable. Very overpriced, parts difficult, and not that competitive. If you are into 4Ts and want to compete, a modified TLR is a better choice.

Gloves on a twin shock. All those non stop ol’ timers eyes are rolling. 🤣🤣🤣
Good video mate I love a majesty, well, to look at anyway.
Glad you enjoyed, I can only imagine the “old trials folk views”

Yes it was! Thanks again man!
I remember watching mick Andrew’s at mow cop he was awesome
Still is!!
how do you put the bike on the stand at 18:43? Are you lifting it with your knee?
Front brake and endo’d on lol is that bad?
@@TrialTube your skills even extend to sticking it on the stand!
Hahaha
A another entertaining vlog 😂😂😂
Thank you sir!
That's a fine rock hopper, if I ever saw one
The first lot are fine for a collector… not the best to ride though
If you think the clutch and brakes are bad on the TY wait until you try an OSSA MAR........can't wait to see that review.
Hahaha I look forward to trying it out!

Not sure what’s happened there maybe give the fim help centre a shout?
Good video as usual, although you might need to explain what Ncb wellies are to the viewers of a younger age.
Haha they don’t need to know, lucky buggers!
Sums up a Ty or a Majesty about right, but it's better than a Bultaco!
Crikey the Bultaco must be rough lol
Ty v bultaco v Fantic @@TrialTube
Good one to have planned I am sure
