In this video, I show you how to remove the driver side door panel on the Chevrolet Cruze.
Tools needed:
T-20 torx bit
Plastic Pry Tool
My window stopped working on my 2015 Cruze as a large storm was rolling in. Great tutorial stopped my drivers seat being very wet.

Thank you for the tutorial bro. I'm trying to fix my mother in law's passenger window, and that door panel was giving me a heck of a time coming loose. Never even took a second to think about the bolts holding it in. This really helped me out.
My friend did mine in less than an HR. I bought the part on Amazon for 58$. He used a tork drill. And I used the old motor. Thx so much for this.

my window was frozen due to ICE storm and my wife kept pushing the down button until the mechanism broke loose from the window. THanks this helps with my job of fixing it now.

@@jamiemalek1224 my cable was destroyed inside where it winds around a bobin so I had to but a whole new mechanism wich cost about 90 dollars at the dealer. I installed it my self and it works great now.. I used my old motor and just installed it into the new hardware

Great vid but instead of removing the whole door handle assembly, you can actually unhook the blue clip and slide the metal ball out of its socket. this is a much quicker and simple way to remove that assembly from the door

Is there a way to remove the speaker grill from the door panel ? I know I can remove the ring around it.
I'm trying to install led strips in my 2012 Chevy in my front and rear doors how can I fit the led strip from the back of the door panel through to the front side of the door panel its really a tight fit for me and suggestions?
I have a question, where switch door for light dome? I tried to find where, maybe magnet switch?

My panel won't come off on my '13 like yours did. No amount of pulling will unclip it. Am I doing something wrong? All the bolts and such are removed...
I would assume that there is at least 1 more screw still holding it on. I would double check everything one more time. They only take a little bit of pulling to release the clips. Good luck! Let me know if you get it!
I ended up getting it after using a metal object as leverage. Not sure what made them so difficult. The only thing I can think of is when I asked my dealer to readjust the doors because of wind noise.

No, you can’t unfortunately. You will need to remove the door panel to do it properly.
