There's an old story that several movie theaters would have a gimmick when they were showing Lon Chaney films where they would release a large spider into the room. When the audience saw it and started freaking out, a man would rush in and shout, "Don't step on that spider! It might be Lon Chaney!"
The unmasking of the kidnapper and murderer in Five Nights at Freddy's was shocking and surprising. I never expected the old counselor to be the main villain. You really have to feel bad for the daughter, having to go through all the crimes her father committed.
So many great unmaskings. Saw,Terror Train,Predator,My Bloody Valentine,Leatherface extremely disturbing. Extremely. Hanibal Lector-always terrifying.Billy Loomis and Stu Macher. When you watch several times you can recognize when Billy or Stu are talking over the phone. Michael Myers is epic! Jason Woorhess too. Great video
How did the Grabber not make the list? Ya'll didn't like The Black Phone? It was such a neat unmasking too-with the Grabber coming down with only the top half of his mask at first.
while not necessarily 'horror', per se - I would lie to nominate: Boris Karloff - FRANKENSTEIN Boris Karloff- THE MUMMY Lon Chaney - HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME
OA I was hoping for Scream to be at number one instead of two but still I think Friday The 13th is quite better. After all I’d say Jason’s a legend. 😊😊😊😊😊 OA also why wasn’t the movie Thanksgiving included in this list????? 🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨
Ok imma just say it... you guys can say "El Orfanato" but you can't say anything japanese related even when the english dub is literally throwing how to pronounce it at you? Kinda shows that you guys really don't care and are only reading a script. Like good lord if I hear Nar-u-to as "Narooto" one more time.. what the hell are you guys even doing? Watch one damn scene. That's it. With any character in any show. Boom. Ya did good. Do that and ya did good. But no, you guys make these videos pretending to know about everything when you can't even say names right even though the source material exists. 🙃

Watchers (1988)
happy death day 2
I can't help it, cuz I love the blood& gorr, I just want more, - huh?!-(LoL!!!)😎😎😆😁😁😄😄😄🤩🤔😂😂🙏🙏🙏🙏
“Surprise, Sydney.” Billy and Stu switching between each other as Ghostface was a clever twist in the first _Scream._
Those lines are legendary now.
The 1920s Phantom of the Opera should have been number one
That film will be 100 years old next year - and Chaney's Phantom still remains the most book-accurate version of the character's face.
Jason's unmasking is legendary
Billy Loomis and Stu Macher.
Two 18-year-old serial killers from the original ‘Scream’ movie.
Unmasking scenes always give me goosebumps!

Michael and jason are iconic
Yeah
Cmon, Michaels unmasking in Halloween 78 is legendary
Jason and Michael's unmasking is iconic in horror movies!!
The unmasking of the kidnapper and murderer in Five Nights at Freddy's was shocking and surprising. I never expected the old counselor to be the main villain. You really have to feel bad for the daughter, having to go through all the crimes her father committed.
4:55 Later, Vincent Price played Dr. Anthon Phibes, whose face got damaged after he was burned in the plane crash.
"When the acid reaches him, he will have a face like mine." Love Vincent Price in the two Dr. Phibes movies.
@@louielucifer And he vengeance on those who had response about death of his beloved wife Victoria.
Point of fact it was a car crash not a plane ✈️
Vincent Price - ah, that voice!!! I have both Phibes films.
You forget the diver in the Dutch Movie Amsterdamned. The scene where he puts off his mask is terrifying 😨
So many great unmaskings. Saw,Terror Train,Predator,My Bloody Valentine,Leatherface extremely disturbing. Extremely. My favorite unmasking is The Phantom of the Opera...The way it was filmed was brilliant.. and the make up was legendary!!!!!
What about the ending to the Richard Gere & Edward Norton movie, Primal Fear. That was a unique unmasking
Agreed
Phantom of the Opera is WILDLY underrated at No. 12.
Jason Voorhees, ladies and gentlemen.
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Omg does anyone else remember the movie "Popcorn"? The movie about the film students in college that put on their own show at a theater????
Loved it!!!
Great movie!
I've seen all of them, I've seen Horror Movies with unmasking moments and especially number one
Jason is the king of hideous face reveals in horror. 👑
They didn't mention the unmasking of Dorothy in Valentine 2001.
You forgot VALENTINE the Cupid killer.... very underrated holiday movie
Seeing Hannibal Lecter unmasking in the ambulance is still creepy
THE DEAD BATHROOM BODY AS JOHN KRAMER IN SAW 1 HOW DID THAT NOT MAKE THE LIST
GAME OVER.
2019 film called HAUNT. The unmasking is shocking and clever, the most unforgettable part of the film.
Mr. Sardonicus should have been here, at least as an honorable mention.
How did the Grabber not make the list? Ya'll didn't like The Black Phone? It was such a neat unmasking too-with the Grabber coming down with only the top half of his mask at first.
The Scooby DOO snippet at the end was a nice touch.
Awesome list 👌🖤
I vote for Scooby Doo.
Thank you Kirsten from watchmojo for another awesome horror video. I would say best unmasking would be Michael Myers in the original Halloween
Ed Norton in Primal Fear & Kevin Spacey as Kaiser Sosay.
If Hannibal Lector belongs on this list, i think they each deserve a nod in the comments.
Halloween 1 is still the best ever
Tales of Halloween: The Night Billy Raised Hell segment was funny. There's another segment with unmasking too
*Let's hide behind these chainsaws!* LOL
I think the killer taking the mask off in "Hush" ruined the movie. The dude looks like a barback at a brewery that makes milk stout.
The Scream Franchise is at the top of my list. Enough said.
Another great video
Someone better call Scooby Doo
The original version of 'The Fly' had an awesome unmasking scene, as did Hammer's 'The Curse Of Frankenstein.
If leatherface decided to go back to his original mask why bother taking kempers face then?
Yep I see some unmasked horror villains.
And the over-witch of Roald Dahl's "Witches" was not on this list either. Well, maybe the 5th time will be the charm.
I was kind of surprised that Jason Vorhees's Mom wasn't on the list. I think that would have been a great one!
This Film Horrors Movie in the Murder Evil 😱
while not necessarily 'horror', per se - I would lie to nominate:
Boris Karloff - FRANKENSTEIN
Boris Karloff- THE MUMMY
Lon Chaney - HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME
I've seen all of these! Horror movies are my favorite genre
Sleepaway Camp 😳
This is creepy
How about the top 20 movies where no one survives
Except... Amanda is "unmasked" at the end of Saw 2...
Darkness Falls (2003) the tooth fairy unmasked?
The tooth fairy from Darkness Falls. That scared me to death!
Michael Meyers #1 👍
Those meddling kids got in the way
What about the grand high witch from the witches 1990?
OA I was hoping for Scream to be at number one instead of two but still I think Friday The 13th is quite better. After all I’d say Jason’s a legend. 😊😊😊😊😊 OA also why wasn’t the movie Thanksgiving included in this list????? 🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨
Do top 20 comic book characters who use guns please?
TOP 10 Ugliest Robots
Honorable mention
Friday the 13th part 7
🔥🔥🔥🔥
Look i love ft13 3 and that reveal is iconic but billy and stew should be number 1 jason number 2
Is Freddy on there ?
Freddy didn’t have a mask to be unmasked from.
@@darth_kal-el I know, it was an inside joke.

Every day is Purge Day in Southern California.
Not bad. 18 hours and over 50,000.00 views.
What is the one on the thumbnail??
3:10 The Funhouse
There had to be the predator unmasking moment.
Stop putting both Predator and Silence Of The Lambs on horror lists. The former is a action sci fi, the latter a psychological thriller.
SCREAM 1996 BILLY LOOMIS AND STU MACHER SCREAM 2 1997 MICKY ALTERI SCEEAM 3 2000 ROMAN BRIGDER
Hello good afternoon 😮😮😅😮
Arnold Swarshenegger 😃
Leatherface
Sean Seah and Chloe lying Lin
Hostel 2
Jagged Edge
Jill's (Scream 4) and Amber's (Scream 2022) unmasking scenes are way better than Billy and Stu.
Not a horror movie really but Master Blaster in mad Max 3 beyond thunderdome , he had down syndrome. Who run Barter town?
panico em segundo é 100% meme.
2001 Valentine
