I think you guys should do a research on all the members, just to know who's who. Just google BTS member profile. So that you know what their roles and stuff are in general. Not in detail obv. Otherwise, it's will be tiring to read all comments again and again for something or the other. Since, you guys are making a reaction googling some things out will be informative and add good will to your potential subscribers. You'd be surprised. Their 2019 MMA performance was 37 minutes long. You guys should check that performance out! Also TXT is like their little brother band that is also under Big Hit. They are absolutely amazing. Totally different style than BTS but they hold their own. Check out their MVs when you feel up to it. Crown, Cat and Dog, New Rules, Run Away are some songs by them.

Y’all seemed a bit confused so I wanted to break down the video a bit: From 0:00 to like 13:00 that was all rehearsals and getting ready for the red carpet 13:20 to like 13:36 is the red carpet 13:36 to 15:00 was them attending the award show and receiving 5 “normal” awards 15:01 was them getting ready for their performances (they performed 5 songs but also performed various intros to those songs as well) 17:01 to the end was BTS winning all 4 Daesang awards which are like the top honor awards in Korea (think artist of the year, SOTY, album of the year, record of the year at the Grammys) this has never been done before and BTS did this at MAMA and MMA
Jin is the oldest born '92, Suga '93, J-Hope '94, RM '94, Jimin '95, Tae (V) '95, Jungkook (JK) '97. Jungkook is pronounced with a soft k so you can hear the BTS members pronounce it something like Jung-goo
ive notice you miss some subs when you talk, we don't mind pausing usually, since its better to get the full picture. also the performance wasalmost 40 mins, bts usually go last and take up a lot of time since they are the biggest group in the world.

“It’s not a bts concert” lmaoo actually it is, since 2017 the main Asian awards shows are 90% filled with bts fans, as they are the main act. The main act usually performes last and has the longest performance. Bts’ performances are around 20-40 minutes long. They are undoubtedly the biggest, and I don’t say it the numbers do. And they’re not just big in Asia, their competition are the big western names. We keep up with the charts a lot. Bts is thriving In 2019 they were the only group in HISTORY of mama award show, melon awards and golden disc award shows to receive all three main awards in the same night . It’s never been done before. Bts won Album of the year, Song of the year, and Artist of the year in all three major Asian award shows. It’s a huge thing, the awards are given based on numbers and charts. And YES they wear makeup when they perform, obviously. Plus that Korean beauty standards for men are extremely different from the western ones, men are allowed to wear skin products without anyone making a big deal out of it lol

Jiophone 2 most definitely. He’s definitely transitioned into a different stage in his life and he’s noticeably much more quiet and calm than he had been in the past 6 years. But honestly this is to be expected bc, from a psychological and biological perspective, people noticeably change every 7 years. I loved the old V but I don’t love the current V any less.
I think someone said you have to hide the mama logo or something if you react to the performance or it will be taken down. So ask someone before you react to it how you should do it for it not to be blocked someone in the comments or if you ask in a video someone watchinf probably knows. I just know some get to keep it up and others have gotten the reaction blocked. And 30, 40, 50,60 min doesn't matter. Only time someone mind if a vid is long is if the reactors lose focus and miss stuff or just don't seem interested. If the reactor genuinly like watching a long video and pause if they talk or look away so they don't miss stuff people will enjoy watching it. We who watch can pause the vid if we need to go do something in the middle so don't worry about long videos.
LOL MMA 2019 was not their concert but it was 37 mins long and amazing. Just so you know too that at these award shows they performed remixes of a lot of their old songs and new songs. So when they talk about being nostalgic its because when they where performing those songs they did not have stadiums cheering their names. They have grown up so much before our eyes and to see them perform those songs in similar outfits as they did 4,5 and 6 years ago is amazing. Keep feeding us more reactions. I love it.

Jungkook is pronounced with the 'g' and 'k' in the middle spoken as one 'g'. The two o's are pronounced as a 'u'. So, it's pronounced 'jun-guk'. If it's too hard to remember, just call him JK or Kookie. We call him that all the time bc sometimes we're too lazy to spell out his name lol. The members also call him JK.
There’s full performance videos if you’d like to watch some. MMA 2019 was a really good one. They have behind the scenes for almost everything (award shows, music videos, photo shoots, and many many more) to show the real process and hard work they put in.
Quiet Jungkook expired in 2013. He only resurfaces when he is sad, super exhausted or sleeping. Quiet Suga took over and is still very active. 😅. Quiet V is still active too but watching in a distance for its prey. Quiet Jin has refused to work. Quiet Jimin still blinking red lights. Quiet RM is still on holiday. Quiet Jhope is broken completely.
BTS has a habit of turning their award show performances into a mini BTS concert. Many of their MMA and MAMA performances through the years are classified as iconic. You can see in these behind the scenes videos how much work is put in by everybody.
The actual performance at this awards show was one of my favorites. They did new and old songs alike. They like to look back and perform in 2019 something they first did in 2013, which tells you a lot about the evergreen value of the message in their songs and what those songs mean to them.
It's videos like this that have brought BTS and Army so close. They share their struggles and achievements. And we get to see them backstage and being their real selves...
BTS are not just the biggest k-pop artist-they're the biggest group in the world. In Korea, they are legends. They have the best selling album in Korean history with over 4M copies sold, and in worldwide units, it's sold over 5M units; their current album's songs have never left the Top 20 spots on Korean's Melon Chart, with the main track "ON" having over 540 hours at number 1. This is a BTS episode. They release one of each big award show they go to and sole other times too. It's like a peek to the behind the scenes. Obviously you only saw little snippets of the actual performance. These episodes are usually released way after the actual show, so all the fans have already watched the performance a thousand times :D Here we just see some behind the scenes. This is how the asian awards show works, specifically MMA (Melon Music Awards) and MAMA (Mnet Asian Music Awards). They pre-record parts of the the performance, since the event is live, if anything happens on stage the show will just cut to the recorded part of it. Then they will have a final rehearsal with their stage outfits. It all happens in the same building. Then they will get dressed and go for the red carpet, where they will give an interview and greet the fans. After this the awards show starts. The awards and the acts occur in an order of seniority. So the rookie groups and awards will go first then followed by everyone else. The last stage is reserved for the biggest act of the year. This year BTS had the last stage, but they took it to a whole new level for both MAMA and MMA. (You should definitely check out the performances, they're long but incredible). After the last stage, the final most important awards are given out. For both MMA and MAMA BTS won all the major grand prizes, something that no act has done before. And their performances were on avg. 40 minutes, another thing that hasn't been done before. Tomorrow X Together is under the same label as BTS. They debuted last year. They do wear make up, especially for performances, but their skin is also just that good.

that was not how they usually stand but yes they have their respective places when they present themselves on camera all together. starting from the left... V (2nd youngest) Suga (2nd oldest), Jin (the eldest), Jungkook (youngest), RM (leader), Jimin (3rd youngest) & JHope (dance leader). their performances usually lasts from 15-35 mins. they always give more than their 100% and with the same energy from the start if not morr! that's why you could find them really exhausted behind the stage after performing just like how you saw Jimin collapsing on the floor after getting off the stage and how Jungkook almost as if being dragged by their manager. When BTS do live performance they have crazy energetic, is very tired for them but they just only want to show their best for us💜 BTS members full of different talents, I love all of them but my bias is Jimin because he's great in contemporary dance, martial art(flip,tumbling,taekwando,kendo,.........) popping dance ...anyways his dance line and body control is just amazing!! Of course his unique voice tone, is so touchable and crystal clear....and he's an angel in this group💜 love his personality so much💜 anyways 7 of them make the group perfect and amazing!
By the way, I just wanted to mention something before you guys get into the personalities of each member (haha). You’ll hear a lot that Suga is quite reserved and quiet or serious all the time. I wanna let you know that this is not the case at all. He had battles with mental health in the past, he worked hard as hell. He still does of course but over the past about 3 years he’s shown so much growth. He’s always smiling, always laughing, always joking about the members. The front and reputation that he has here on RUclips is false. Just thought I’d let you know 😁 thanks for the reactions!!!
BTS' discography is IMMENSE and that's not even including all their other related content and fan made content. So I know it can seem a bit intimidating and worrying about where to even make the 1st dent but you two are doing wonderfully! You guys have so much more to learn about them, you haven’t even scratched the surface. It’s not a bad thing. I can’t wait for you guys to dive deeper into bts. Here’s a few thing that you have asked. - They are currently the biggest non-solo act (group) in the world, which means they are obviously the biggest kpop group. However, we don’t like to label them as kpop because their music and message is way beyond kpop. - Jungkook is not the quiet one. He is usually very quiet around new people, but when he is with bts or close friends he is NOT quiet. The quiet and introverted one is Suga, although he can also be loud at times, most of the time he is very calm. - Their performances are way more than just a workout routine. Since they need to sing, dance complex choreo, be aware of each other and the camera, it’s very exhausting for them. They also never give a half-assed performance, they always put in 150% energy. A lot of times they need oxygen respirators to help them breathe. They also had a few times when they almost fainted or wasn’t able to walk by themselves. - When all the Corona is over, if you can you NEED to get tickets for their tours, it’s amazing. I highly recommend it. - They only wear makeup for tv shows or whenever they’re on camera (except sometimes in their own shows or livestreams they don’t have makeup on). However, they all have beautiful skin so sometimes it’s hard to tell if they have makeup on or not.
They are the biggest band in the world, not just in K-Pop. They outsell American artists, and now there are going to be apart of the virtual graduation ceremony for 2020 with the Obamas.

First half of the video is rehearsal, then red carpet and the award show. They were performing at the end, so they were sitting and casually getting their awards. Also they had nearly 30 minutes performance. On the other award show, a few days before, they had 45 minutes performance. They make award shows their concerts. Also, they are not using lipsticks, one of the members said in their livestreams that they use lip balms. And it is common for men to take care of themselves in Korea. And they do only stage makeup, for the performances. In US artists also do it
Great reaction as always! Just wanted to help you guys clear some things up: 1. For makeup, yes they do wear makeup when performing or in other content but they also have flawless skin and look amazing without makeup. Anyway there's nothing wrong with wearing makeup for men or women and watching them actually made me more aware of the toxic masculine culture we get fed by society. 2. In korean award shows or even bts concerts, they tend to fill gaps with "vcrs" which are just short videos while they go change outfits. 3. Some parts of an award show performance which require special sets or props may be pre-recorded to save time but I think mama 2019 was mostly live. For award shows, they usually have rehearsals and pre-recordings a day before and then final rehearsals on the day, followed by a red carpet. They then go backstage to freshen up and then enter the main venue to watch other performances and for the awards until their own performance. 4. Not sure if you might have overlooked this but MAMA & MMA are two different award shows. BTS performances basically of every year at those award shows are worth watching cuz they do go quite all out. 5. And finally, yes bts is the biggest kpop group right now and also I believe the biggest overall boy group/band in the world.

because y’all were confused, this is the order of the video! first two parts were dress rehearsal/monitoring split in two parts so that they can fix any mistakes and check sound and things like that. then the boys put on the outfits they picked for themselves and did red carpet photos and a short interview/talk and went back inside to wait until the actual show starts. after that they go to the artist area while awards are presented. once they have won all of their awards for that segment, it’s time to go backstage again to change and get ready! then comes actual live performance time and once they get off stage they dry off a little and it’s back to the artist area for more awards! then the night is usually over, sometimes they go out with staff to get food if they aren’t too worn out. also! the youngest was jk, the one with the red and black hair :)
Also at their awards show they announce the awards first and depending on how many awards you will you will get to perform for a longer time. Their performance after was about 40 min long. It’s like a concert but it’s an award show

The mma (there are mama and mma, two different awardshows) performance is the longest (we will watch the entire reaction video don't worry). A little context there: the new album is sampled/ based of their first album. So that's why they are performing in school costume in the beginning because it's their first song and then they go on to their latest songs. All the music in the show is their songs but made slow/classical. It's really good. Dionysus is a song about the god of wine/art in Greek mythology. The lights that comes down is the constellation of the crown he gave a princess etc (it's a festival, horses etc). The analyzing videos are important to watch too. It's really good, the details, the time put in, that's why we watch them! It's sooooo good. Map of the soul is Carl Jung and deals with that theory. Persona, shadow and ego 👍 check it out
So a few things: RM often stands in the middle and speaks because he IS officially the leader. They have a formation for when they are on the red carpet but the rest of the time it‘s random I think. I‘m not sure whether you got it (I might missed it but I just wanted to make sure) but this isn’t the official recording of the performance, it’s just a behind the scenes. Tommorow X Together or TXT is the only other group that is in the same company as BTS. They only debuted a year ago and most of the time TXT are still extremely shy around BTS, it‘s so adorable :) Though they have gotten a lot more comfortable around eachother lately. Wow you picked up so well! So BTS actually were often kicked off of the stage and cut from broadcasts. (Even in 2016 when they were more known they weren't given a changing room and had to change in the bathroom. Another time they performed on the red carpet because they didn't want them taking up tv time) You were right about the school uniforms. Their albums come in trilogies, so their first album trilogy was "school themed" (2013-2015) and things you could experience when you ere younger. This is their longest performance at an awards show coming up at almost 40 minutes. They ended up performing a snippet of all their title tracks in a medley, as if making up for the fact that they were cut from things.

Korean award shows are SOOOOO long lol I will usually watch the red carpet, sleep a few hrs and then wake up for the ending which is when BTS performed 🤣
I also recommend that you also may want to start from their 1st video back in 2015. That is what i did. Once i discovered them, i watched their 1st to their current, just to see their progress and also most important their video storylines. That way you can understand the stories to thei video's much better. Most if their videos ate linked and are telling an catual story. I really like your reactions. I look forward to your next videos

He is very awkward with new and unknown people, umm like in interviews and stuff. But with his hyungs (older bros, from BTS) he is very mischievous and loud. But Suga has a no nonsense personality. He doesn't talk much.

From 0:00 to like 13:00 that was all rehearsals and getting ready for the red carpet
13:20 to like 13:36 is the red carpet
13:36 to 15:00 was them attending the award show and receiving 5 “normal” awards
15:01 was them getting ready for their performances (they performed 5 songs but also performed various intros to those songs as well)
17:01 to the end was BTS winning all 4 Daesang awards which are like the top honor awards in Korea (think artist of the year, SOTY, album of the year, record of the year at the Grammys) this has never been done before and BTS did this at MAMA and MMA

lmaoo actually it is, since 2017 the main Asian awards shows are 90% filled with bts fans, as they are the main act.
The main act usually performes last and has the longest performance. Bts’ performances are around 20-40 minutes long.
They are undoubtedly the biggest, and I don’t say it the numbers do. And they’re not just big in Asia, their competition are the big western names. We keep up with the charts a lot. Bts is thriving
In 2019 they were the only group in HISTORY of mama award show, melon awards and golden disc award shows to receive all three main awards in the same night . It’s never been done before.
Bts won Album of the year, Song of the year, and Artist of the year in all three major Asian award shows. It’s a huge thing, the awards are given based on numbers and charts.
And YES they wear makeup when they perform, obviously. Plus that Korean beauty standards for men are extremely different from the western ones, men are allowed to wear skin products without anyone making a big deal out of it lol

Jiophone 2 most definitely. He’s definitely transitioned into a different stage in his life and he’s noticeably much more quiet and calm than he had been in the past 6 years. I think someone said you have to hide the mama logo or something if you react to the performance or it will be taken down. So ask someone before you react to it how you should do it for it not to be blocked someone in the comments or if you ask in a video someone watchinf probably knows. I just know some get to keep it up and others have gotten the reaction blocked.
And 30, 40, 50,60 min doesn't matter. Only time someone mind if a vid is long is if the reactors lose focus and miss stuff or just don't seem interested. If the reactor genuinly like watching a long video and pause if they talk or look away so they don't miss stuff people will enjoy watching it.
We who watch can pause the vid if we need to go do something in the middle so don't worry about long videos.

LOL MMA 2019 was not their concert but it was 37 mins long and amazing. Just so you know too that at these award shows they performed remixes of a lot of their old songs and new songs. So when they talk about being nostalgic its because when they where performing those songs they did not have stadiums cheering their names. They have grown up so much before our eyes and to see them perform those songs in similar outfits as they did 4,5 and 6 years ago is amazing. Keep feeding us more reactions. I love it.

BTS has a habit of turning their award show performances into a mini BTS concert. Many of their MMA and MAMA performances through the years are classified as iconic. You can see in these behind the scenes videos how much work is put in by everybody.
The actual performance at this awards show was one of my favorites. They did new and old songs alike. They like to look back and perform in 2019 something they first did in 2013, which tells you a lot about the evergreen value of the message in their songs and what those songs mean to them.

This is a BTS episode. They release one of each big award show they go to and sole other times too. It's like a peek to the behind the scenes. Obviously you only saw little snippets of the actual performance. These episodes are usually released way after the actual show, so all the fans have already watched the performance a thousand times :D Here we just see some behind the scenes. I definitely suggest checking out the actual performance! It's fire!!
This is how the asian awards show works, specifically MMA (Melon Music Awards) and MAMA (Mnet Asian Music Awards). They pre-record parts of the the performance, since the event is live, if anything happens on stage the show will just cut to the recorded part of it. Then they will have a final rehearsal with their stage outfits. It all happens in the same building. Then they will get dressed and go for the red carpet, where they will give an interview and greet the fans.
After this the awards show starts. The awards and the acts occur in an order of seniority. So the rookie groups and awards will go first then followed by everyone else. The last stage is reserved for the biggest act of the year. This year BTS had the last stage, but they took it to a whole new level for both MAMA and MMA. (You should definitely check out the performances, they're long but incredible). After the last stage, the final most important awards are given out. For both MMA and MAMA BTS won all the major grand prizes, something that no act has done before. And their performances were on avg. 40 minutes, another thing that hasn't been done before.
Tomorrow X Together is under the same label as BTS. They debuted last year. They do wear make up, especially for performances, but their skin is also just that good.

When BTS do live performance they have crazy energetic, is very tired for them but they just only want to show their best for us💜 BTS members full of different talents, I love all of them but my bias is Jimin because he's great in contemporary dance, martial art(flip,tumbling,taekwando,kendo,.........) popping dance ...anyways his dance line and body control is just amazing!! Of course his unique voice tone, is so touchable and crystal clear....and he's an angel in this group💜 love his personality so much💜 anyways 7 of them make the group perfect and amazing!
By the way, I just wanted to mention something before you guys get into the personalities of each member (haha). You’ll hear a lot that Suga is quite reserved and quiet or serious all the time. I wanna let you know that this is not the case at all. He had battles with mental health in the past, he worked hard as hell. He still does of course but over the past about 3 years he’s shown so much growth. He’s always smiling, always laughing, always joking about the members. You guys have so much more to learn about them, you haven’t even scratched the surface. It’s not a bad thing. I can’t wait for you guys to dive deeper into bts. Here’s a few thing that you have asked.
- They are currently the biggest non-solo act (group) in the world, which means they are obviously the biggest kpop group. However, we don’t like to label them as kpop because their music and message is way beyond kpop.
- Jungkook is not the quiet one. He is usually very quiet around new people, but when he is with bts or close friends he is NOT quiet. The quiet and introverted one is Suga, although he can also be loud at times, most of the time he is very calm.
- Their performances are way more than just a workout routine. Since they need to sing, dance complex choreo, be aware of each other and the camera, it’s very exhausting for them. They also never give a half-assed performance, they always put in 150% energy. A lot of times they need oxygen respirators to help them breathe. They also had a few times when they almost fainted or wasn’t able to walk by themselves.
- When all the Corona is over, if you can you NEED to get tickets for their tours, it’s amazing. I highly recommend it.
- They only wear makeup for tv shows or whenever they’re on camera (except sometimes in their own shows or livestreams they don’t have makeup on). However, they all have beautiful skin so sometimes it’s hard to tell if they have makeup on or not.
They're not just the biggest K-pop artist they're one of the top 3 biggest artist in the world right now
They are the biggest band in the world, not just in K-Pop. They outsell American artists, and now there are going to be apart of the virtual graduation ceremony for 2020 with the Obamas.

First half of the video is rehearsal, then red carpet and the award show. They were performing at the end, so they were sitting and casually getting their awards. Also they had nearly 30 minutes performance. On the other award show, a few days before, they had 45 minutes performance. They make award shows their concerts. Also, they are not using lipsticks, one of the members said in their livestreams that they use lip balms. And it is common for men to take care of themselves in Korea. And they do only stage makeup, for the performances. In US artists also do it

Great reaction as always! Just wanted to help you guys clear some things up:
1. For makeup, yes they do wear makeup when performing or in other content but they also have flawless skin and look amazing without makeup. Anyway there's nothing wrong with wearing makeup for men or women and watching them actually made me more aware of the toxic masculine culture we get fed by society.
2. In korean award shows or even bts concerts, they tend to fill gaps with "vcrs" which are just short videos while they go change outfits.
3. Some parts of an award show performance which require special sets or props may be pre-recorded to save time but I think mama 2019 was mostly live. For award shows, they usually have rehearsals and pre-recordings a day before and then final rehearsals on the day, followed by a red carpet. They then go backstage to freshen up and then enter the main venue to watch other performances and for the awards until their own performance.
4. Not sure if you might have overlooked this but MAMA & MMA are two different award shows. BTS performances basically of every year at those award shows are worth watching cuz they do go quite all out.
5. And finally, yes bts is the biggest kpop group right now and also I believe the biggest overall boy group/band in the world.

because y’all were confused, this is the order of the video! first two parts were dress rehearsal/monitoring split in two parts so that they can fix any mistakes and check sound and things like that. then the boys put on the outfits they picked for themselves and did red carpet photos and a short interview/talk and went back inside to wait until the actual show starts. after that they go to the artist area while awards are presented. once they have won all of their awards for that segment, it’s time to go backstage again to change and get ready! then comes actual live performance time and once they get off stage they dry off a little and it’s back to the artist area for more awards! then the night is usually over, sometimes they go out with staff to get food if they aren’t too worn out. also! the youngest was jk, the one with the red and black hair :)

The mma (there are mama and mma, two different awardshows) performance is the longest (we will watch the entire reaction video don't worry). A little context there: the new album is sampled/ based of their first album. So that's why they are performing in school costume in the beginning because it's their first song and then they go on to their latest songs. All the music in the show is their songs but made slow/classical. It's really good. Dionysus is a song about the god of wine/art in Greek mythology. The lights that comes down is the constellation of the crown he gave a princess etc (it's a festival, horses etc). The analyzing videos are important to watch too. It's really good, the details, the time put in, that's why we watch them! It's sooooo good. Map of the soul is Carl Jung and deals with that theory. Persona, shadow and ego 👍 check it out
So a few things: RM often stands in the middle and speaks because he IS officially the leader. They have a formation for when they are on the red carpet but the rest of the time it‘s random I think.
I‘m not sure whether you got it (I might missed it but I just wanted to make sure) but this isn’t the official recording of the performance, it’s just a behind the scenes.
Tommorow X Together or TXT is the only other group that is in the same company as BTS. They only debuted a year ago and most of the time TXT are still extremely shy around BTS, it‘s so adorable :) Though they have gotten a lot more comfortable around eachother lately.

Wow you picked up so well! So BTS actually were often kicked off of the stage and cut from broadcasts. (Even in 2016 when they were more known they weren't given a changing room and had to change in the bathroom. Another time they performed on the red carpet because they didn't want them taking up tv time) You were right about the school uniforms. Their albums come in trilogies, so their first album trilogy was "school themed" (2013-2015) and things you could experience when you ere younger. This is their longest performance at an awards show coming up at almost 40 minutes. They ended up performing a snippet of all their title tracks in a medley, as if making up for the fact that they were cut from things.

He is very awkward with new and unknown people, umm like in interviews and stuff. But with his hyungs (older bros, from BTS) he is very mischievous and loud.
But Suga has a no nonsense personality. He doesn't talk much.
