this is very informative. the most professional approach I've watched so fsr here on youtube. im an undergraduate in EE and from time-to-time i watch videos like this since im also a practicing electrician myself. i always advice electricians to religiously follow PEC standard whenever they are engaged in electrical installations because honestly, i encountered a lot of electricians who doesn't care about PEC standards. i will recommend this channel for them to learn the proper practice.

for me though it's an additional expense. 3 wire is better than 2 wire. since there's is only 110 per line in 3 wire with respect to the neutral, while the 2 wire system is 220 agad ang isang linya which is more fatal when you accidentally touch the live wire. So safety wise mas maigi na ang 3 wire o line to line kaysa 2 wire or line to ground. You can't buy safety, sabi nila. Dapat ang mga videong ganito ang pinapanood imbis na tiktok. maraming diyers a pinoy na alam nila paano mag electrical wiring (marunong sila sa How)pero kulang sa kaalaman pagdating sa theory which is very important para alam nila ang why? salamat po and continue sharing. btw ubos ang dalawang ads :)

3:28 mark- correction po Master hindi yan kapareho ng TN-C-S instead is TT arrangement dahil ang na-provide ng Coop or Distribution going to your premise is only a Line & Earthed connection. It is now the responsibility of the consumer to provide for their own earth/ground connection thru earthing rod to distribute in its internal circuit of system for connection of exposed conductive part of any equipment. I do agree with you that a bonding is required as per PEC at the consumer side and that there will be a main earth/ground conductor that needs to be connected now to the earthing rod within your panelboard/consumer unit with earth/ground terminal blocks for each connection point like sockets /lighting making it 3 wires protruding so in case of Line to ground fault ay meron relief to the ground and it needs an RCD/RCCB/RCBO to clear that fault really and besides marami ang nakaka overlook nito na ang system impedance between Distributor earthing rod at consumer earthing rod ay mataas. So correction it’s not a TN-C-S(Terre Neutral Combined Separate)but a TT(Terre Terre). Isinama ko sa comment what the acronyms stands for the benefit of readers, which I know you know it no offense😁Thanks!

Thanks Sir for the basic information and knowledge on electrical grounding system that benefits every electrical practitioners. Unfortunately, it is sad to mention that major points (per latest PEC) are not being observed and considered at all in building elect. installation in the province (in my area):
    1. No equipment grounding conductors (EGC) or circuit protective conductor (CPC) installed. For single phase LN system, TNC is adapted even up to internal building installation which is dangerous in the event of fault or disconnected neutral.
    2. For street lighting system, steel poles are without bonding to earth. Earthing connection is provided by utility at point of supply only.
    3. Lightning protection system are not introduced for taller buildings. (above 3 floors)
    4. As part of technical documentation in electrical design, I observed that in the short circuit calculation, the determination of minimum Isc levels are not included (only the max KAIC level is determined). Such are used to classify MCB types (B, C, D, Z) or to calibrate
MCCB magnetic trip settings if adjustable and electronic types.
    5. Other electrical standards such as method of installations and proper materials.
I know that concerned authorities (LGU and Electric Coop) are approving and issuing electrical permits with the coordination of contractor/PEE. There is no proper implementation and work checked on the actual installation which are in violation of latest PEC provisions. This are my observations and comments as a retired OFW on the prevailing electrical practices here in my area and I hope that these malpractices can be corrected.
