one of the most toxic way to use scathach is that, put black grail on her, then double skadi charge her up, fires her np, stun the enemy, then command spell, fires np, stun, 2nd command spell, 3rd np, stun, 3rd command spell, 4th np, stun, mystic code gandr, stun, and I'm about 80% sure this whoops pretty much everything unless they are top tier CQ boss or have something like debuff immunity
You can also use Oberon to double the BG buff to win harder

Haven’t watched the whole video yet, but I think Karna could really benefit from a couple buffs. He’s without question one of the strongest world destroying servants in the franchise. I think for his first skill they could buff it so it keeps the first two benefits being debuff res down and np seal for one turn, but if he uses it on a Divine enemy, he also lowers their attack by 20% for three turns and removes their offensive buffs. His second skill being his mana burst, could be turned into a really unique skill surrounding his lore. In lore, Karna has extreme resistance to all attacks until he uses his Np, where he sheds his armor. So his second skill I think should be reworked to, Buster up 3 attacks for 3 turns, np damage up 1 time three turns (to make it more flexible for when he can use the skill) but also grant two special invincibility buffs stacks (2 hits) that last for 3 turns. If he’s hit, one of these stacks gets consumed and acts as a standard invincibility. If he uses his np however, each stack is consumed and per stack consumed grant him a one turn 20% attack buff. Then he can also have all three buff types. Sorry for the long comment, I just like sharing servant ideas. I got a lot more ideas if anyone else wants to discuss buffs in this thread.
They should definitely make the stronger servants lore wise stronger gameplay wise as well and I think they should also make more unique skills, buffs, debuffs rather than the same old same old to make characters feel more unique
I mean in the nasuverse karna’s armour reduces incoming damage by 90% so maybe 90% def up for 1 turn along with his normal 30+20% man burst.. kinda like he manages to summon his armour for a short while during his mana burst… and increase his buster card damage to 30% for 3 turns
And his 3rd skill should get either a 50% buff to crit damage and a star absorb for 3 turns or just the 100% crit for 3 turns along with 50% stargen and his battery
His first skill could maybe get a nullify buff 1-3 times or buff removal on 1 enemy on his 1st skill and maybe reduce the cooldown from 6 to 5
That’s too op. I think the buff they should make is that if he failed his np seal then apply invi, and if he did apply no seal then apply invi next turn

In defense of the Valkyries, they actually have better damage, refund and star gen than Parvati for two waves out of three. Parvati only outdamage them for her burst turn. Mind you, I do agree that Parvati is generally better in most situations, but there are reasons to use the Valkyries over her in some cases. I don't think the comparison with Bradamante is quite fair, because unlike them, Bradamante can't loop for the life of her (which I'm sure every... ahem, cultured Masters will agree is a shame).
(by the way, your suggested buff of giving them a battery or a NP gain would be... why? They already have insane refund due to how many hits their NP have? If there's ONE thing that the Valkyries don't need, it's more ways to gain NP)
I just killed the LB4 final boss fight with a Scathach solo last night. Damn right she's S-Tier.
On my opinion Ereshkigal should be at least a tier above all the AoE servants.
Why?
To keep it short
She's just a better team player(6 party wide buffs), better solo and better farmer than any AoE Servant(More damage than Lartoria) on the highest tier, can also survive any NP but Ignore Invul, can't be debuffed from NPs and Loops of a Crits Arts card but I guess you could have 2 huge reasons why you would want to take Lartoria over her but I'm more of thighs guy, I love me some Rin faces.
Enkidu is another one that is way better than any ST here
Why?
Way more survivability and ST damage(Except for Romulus Roman stacking) than anyone on the list, also helps party with a stuns divine which is pretty much all bosses and 30% def down(NP), 50% crit down on 2nd skill really underestimated buff since most bosses turn their hits into AoE on crit, you will never be left wishing to be running Shishou instead of Enkidu on a fight.
Unless you just want to see that costume, which is understandable I hope I can pull either her or Eresh on NA this GSSR... Costume is god tier and Eresh is waifu. 50/50 how bad could it be?
Rest I can pretty much agree on but maybe Fionn, with double castoria he just does what Melt does while also not debuffing the team honestly, they are pretty much on par while he can also save the team from ST NPs by taunting himself.
Melt is still my favorite though, hopefully I can pull her on the rerun.

Enkidu and Eresh are really on a league of their own right now. The only competition being, in my opinion, that Melt might be a bit better farmer than Eresh still.

Disagree a bit on Brynhilder. The reason I used Shishou over her is because of her quick nuking and compatibility with Skadi. Bryn on the other hand has greater passive star gen, np gain, and passives plus is a premier crit support for any card type. Her third skill has that very strong targetable star soaking that is effective on berserkers (so every other class too), heals,. and has a 40% crit damage up. Her NP also allows the party to generate 50% more crit stars too. Bryn's damage is lower than Shishou and she does not have hard survivability but with Bryn's own buffs she can be more useful for farming (given that she has the biggest battery in her class for ST NP) and potentially challenging content where either carding is required or the enemy has the beloved trait. Still would put Shishou higher than Bryn but at most one rank above and be higher than Tamamo Lancer.
I agree. Shishou is awesome but Bryn does so much more then her.
@ 42:00 biggest W for me too. around her banner i had bought a JP account with only support characters and didnt have any dps servants. i had no idea that melusine would be as good as she is. i got her at np2 and right after that i got Oberon and Vitch.

A lot of quick servants suffer from np gain which they desperately need there's a quick 50% starting charge CE that gives I think 10% np gain MLB and 10% quick up, but they need a bit more to even loop

theres no world that karna is worse than arthuria lancer, her dmg mods is for a single turn and it doesnt have a interlude, her dmg straight up sucks, she is only a farming servant while karna is a crit servant and has a stronger np

Couldn't be happier with my Parvati and Summer Melt. It's a shame they're both Lancers, but at least it means I get to use top tier lancers in both my Arts and Quick teams.
when I was new at the game i pulled Vlad lancer and I accidentally used him as an exp card I still to this day feel really stupid for not paying attention
I have Eresh @ NP4 on NA and she is still VERY solid, but when she gets that buff... So much love for my favorite Rin face.

Nezha being that low hurts as someone who has her grailed to 100, but it's true. She's very underwhelming atm and in desperate need of a buff or 2.
Eh, I'd argue that. She's not that bad, her first skill is arguably one of the best double colour buffs out there, and her second skill is serviceable. Her third really needs a buff though, and they kinda wasted her NP buff.

Overall I think the tier list is pretty good, but I do have some disagreements.
I think it's a little too early to put lartoria in S tier. Her damage outside of her burst turn is pretty bad and unlike Ereshkigal, her damage doesn't ramp up every turn. I think we should wait to put her in S until her long awaited np upgrade.
I also don't think Parvati should be in S. She isn't that much better than Valkyrie to justify putting her two tiers higher than her. If Bradamante and Valkyrie are in B, Parvati should be in A at best.
I agree that people are sleeping on grand Roma. This man is absolutely ridiculous. I would say he is the one that benefitted the most of Vitch's cool down reduction aside from Arjuna Alter. Melusine is definitely a better farmer but in challenge quests, I would say grand Roma is the best hands down. If there is an AOE DPS that can be considered a single target DPS, it's this guy. He'll have some trouble with damage on turn 1, but once you get those Rome stacks, he starts out damaging single target nps. The only lancer DPS that can keep up with grand Roma are scathach and enkidu... in their own niches. Remember that grand Roma's niche is basically anyone that doesn't have debuff immunity. Not to mention, compared to his competition, his kit is just really good. Being able to crit really hard on top of insane np damage just solidifies his place as a top tier lancer.
Parvati is leagues beyond the Valks, though. Her NP is stupid (Charm _and_ team NP charge is just silly), she has incredible looping potential and quite a bit of utility. The only thing she needs is hard survivability.
@@thejudge1728 Parvati definitely justified in S tier. My NP5 Parvati DESTROYS every wave thrown at her with double Skadi, even many Saber waves... she does that much damage...
@@thejudge1728 I think leagues is an overstatement. Looping potential and quick shouldn’t be in the same sentence in JP where no quick servant is farming 90+ to any degree of success. Not to mention the 10% party charge is meaningless in a double skadi team since skadi herself doesn’t give party charge and her np isn’t anything to write home about.
Imagine if Karna had, like, a 3K Damage Cut or 50 Percent Defense until he fired Vasavi Shakti.
Yes, it that would be pretty broken... until you remember you can't use your NP, which makes your DPS plummet.
Another demerit that could be used balance it out a bit is reducing Star Drop Rate.
So you really have to pick between damage and just not dying.

Her versatility to nuke bosses aswell as buster clear nodes is outstanding.. she can do all that with a black grail..

Romulus outdamges her by a Long shot with his 200%damage modefier, actually making him also an insane singeltarget dps, if you manage to stack 10roman trains on 1 enemy+ he has way more party utility and is better for longer fight.
The only thing melosin has over Roma is that she can start right away while Romulus needs some time to get rolling

i always think is dumb how people under rate lancer Ibaraki, she is literally the same servant as Lancer Raikou with a couple more buff and a couple demerits, just without mana burst and debuff clear being targetable.
Damn right. Her demerits doesn't even matter and she makes a crap ton more stars and has easier access to her np due to the insane base np gain stat

@@saltminer7711 even with support utility most people will still use the mana burst on Raikou herself so it makes it even less relevant most of the time
Lancer Raiko is mostly used as plugsuit servant nowadays rather than pure damage dealer. Ibaraki is mostly still DPS. They aren't that similiar.

Medusa Lily's problem isn't her kit (but monstrous strength needs a buff). Her problem is that her quick cards are terrible, which gives her anti-synergy with quick supporters. She's one of those unfortunate servants with less hits on her quick carts than her arts cards (making the np gain of the servant bad). As a result, she's not using her NP much unless you're going for something super scuffed like an arts buffer alongside Skadi. They just need to up the hit count on her quick cards from 3 to 5, and then she'd be good. The idea of a hard-hitting ST Lancer with multiple defensive options is great..........if they have good NP gain.
Qin is actually bad. If you want a self-buffing Lancer, just use Hozoin and pair him with Skadi and go wild. Qin's NP just doesn't offer enough in the way of offensive buffs/debuffs. Not even counting burst turns with Hozoin's quick buff, Qin is probably going to be trailing in crit damage. Her utility is the reason to user her, and it'll be inconsistent. Better hope she doesn't crit the enemy 3 times before they buff. Better hope that they attack her multiple times within 5 turns and not her allies. There's no consistency in her kit, and it's not like her effects are that insane to reward the inconsistent procs.

Fionn I could never get over the fact that his dodge needs to be at level 10 to... well, dodge attacks, so I never liked him for that, even if I know he's pretty good.

Regarding Scathach, wise decision my friend very wise indeed.
Me being the Karna simp I am, I couldn't agree more about his glaring weakness, that being his skill 1. Something like a buff clear or np drain would be very welcome. The np drain sounds redundant but the fact is that the enemy won't be able to np immediately after, instead having to regain the charge they lost.
In regards to his armor, they could easily put a timed buff similar to King Hassans buff on his Guts. Something along the lines of-
Uncrowned Arms Mastery: Increase NP Gauge, Increase critical DMG, Increase Critical Star drop rate, and gain "Kavacha and Kundala" status.
Kavacha and Kundala- Gain DMG reduction (1500-2500) for 5 turns, or lose status upon NP activation
Now this is a guy with some solid karna ideas… here’s my take… i think his first skill should get a buff removal on an enemy and maybe reduce its cooldown by 1
I think his kavacha and kundala could be used on his 2rd skill… kinda like with the mana burst he can summon his armour temporarily so kinda like maybe 90% def up for 1 turn on his mana burst so its kinda like a damage survival trade or like he could lose the buff if he uses his NP OR your idea which sounds a bit better to me which is the 2500 damage cut for 3 turns which he looses on NP activation and maybe increase his buster performance to 3 turns instead of just the 1 (30%) and this entire thing on a 5 turn cooldown
For his 3rd maybe increase the stargen value to 80% instead of 50% cause he cant gen more then 25-26 stars on an AQQ or BQQ chain so this might help him gen 30+ stars to play around with and increase his crit damage to 100% for 3 turns instead of 40% (not a mistype) OR just increase it to 50% from 40% and give him 200%-400% star absorption for 3 turns that way he can crit reliably and more harder
@@themaskedgriffin6384 Those are all some pretty solid points, I never really considered buffing his skill 3 since I've always thought it to be pretty reliable but your proposition would definitely solidify his place as a crit lancer, while also tying in nicely to his lore as a combat master. My only gripe is placing the Kavacha status on his mana burst, since you would lose out on the np bonus, HOWEVER, I can see now how it would balance out the substantial buff offered by my proposed status effect (similar to how Fujino loses max hp for the duration of her chunky damage cut)

My lvl 100, bond 12, soon to be 13, 10/10/10 2k fous, NP 3, is absolutely S tier, I use her everywhere, unless the saber unit has more than 25k hp, she still nukes them, the daily gold xp guests has Eresh permanently in the first slot, she’s my queen, my wife, and I cannot wait for her buff, Bc imma be nuking even harder

Besides Ibaraki Lancer, Brynhildr is my main ST buster lancer. She does have some weaknesses that I will admit to, but I hope that she can gain some buffs in the future. I usually try to pair her with a np strength/np gain ce, and have another servant with a 2030 or has the ability to drop crit stars. She does really well when there are stars to play with. I hope that this helps.
Enkidu will always be my main lancer cause he/she/it? were so good agains that Konyanskaya boss fight. I tried so many comps with my the servants in my account & it was a struggle. Than i found an Enkidu solo & it was such a god send that saved me alot of headaches.

I think Vritra is more than what you think if you give her best support of np gain and arts damage up like castoria, she got anti divine and 30 np charge by her second skill, guts, 10% np gain each turn and 1 time np dmg up with her third skill. And her NP also insane than can give debuff for all enemy
I think for brynhildr on her first skill they could make the buster last for three turns while the the np will stay one turn and maybe add a team wide buster up, a team wide attack up for three turns, or just make it targetable like her third skill and for her second skill you could give it an attack down on top of the crit rate down and np rate down plus make it aoe or make it put the brynhild beloved status onto an enemy you targeted.
Soooo, 3 out of 8 from the Best Tier. 2 out of 7 from the Runner Ups. 5 out of 9 from the mediocre. 2 out of 2 from the Not so good. And I don't have the worst gold lancer.

Karna's first skills seals enemy np for 3 turns and
Either
his 3rd skill which grants invincibility for 2 hits (if np is not used)

Make his mana brust to last 3 turns
For Melusine she only lacks 1 thing to round her up, a Crit Buff. She's a better Spammer than Romulus and Karna, deals more damage than both if she's at Asc3 iirc and the NP will always hit and her Star Gen is pretty consistent even with 10 Stars per turn since her Hit Counts are supportive along with 2 Skills that provide Defense and a low cooldown for bonus
Is this in the context of farming or challenge quests? Romulus isn’t a great farmer because of the long skill cooldown on his second skill so Melusine is a better farmer. In the context of a challenge quest though, Romulus is going to consistently out damage Melusine past turn 2. This is just from the Rome stacks from skills and the np. His damage would be even higher if we factor in Rome stacks from crits.
Speaking of crits, buster doesn’t really have a problem with getting stars. Vitch and Oberon both have 20 stars and with the insane star absorb from vitch’s third skill, that’s usually going to be enough.
