Each of us was once a sinner, but salvation changed that. God no longer looks at you and sees sin; He only sees the new nature that Jesus provided by grace at the cross.

Theirs always a healing that’s needed behind every situation.Symtoms are the only way the body talks to you, to focus on repair.
It always comes back to "I had this experience with the Lord. . . "
Yes, there will be an experience with the Lord. But then comes a time God wants us to believe His Word and act on it. Then we have an experience after we obeyed or often we were drawn into a difficult situation and He delivered us. Even when we had little faith, but our faith begins to grow.
Just a thought...not criticism, but I was a. social worker, and I became acquainted with people who were morbidly obese, but they were not gluttons. Being overweight is not always a sin. At times it is an affliction that needs healing. I really like this series. I'm learning so much! God bless you!
Correct. Brother Andrew is mistaken in saying that it’s a sin to be overweight. He misquoted the word “gluttony” in Scripture that means overeating by instead saying “being fat”. Certainly overeating leads to being fat, but being fat is absolutely not a sin inherently. Sometimes it is caused by sickness, and of course Jesus wants to heal it. As Jesus said, we must be very careful to rightly divide the Word of Truth to not become guilty of misleading anyone. That’s why I mention all this.

I was prescribed antidepressants for bi polar depression and gained 90 pounds… which I lost most of when two psychiatrists cut me off because they determined I wasn’t bi polar or depressed… being focused on ourselves and our problems and circumstances was the agenda of the counselors who treated me. I was born again shortly after these drugs were stopped. They were death to my sprit and soul. Through reading the Bible, learning that it is near impossible to be depressed and grateful at the same time changed my life and calling on the Holy Spirit has had the effect of me never going into the throes of sadness, regardless of circumstances…
He's not misleading anyone..just ask the holy spirit help you to understand what he meant...the holy spirit will guide you to understand amen

Reckon means count:count you are dead not exactly dead. We live by faith which means we receive grace all the time, enabling us to live strong, overcoming the old man. By faith the new man in tandem with the Holy Spirit subdue the old man all the time. So the key is not to deny the revealed existence of the old man, ROM. 8.12-13,GAL.5.16 but to live by faith and grace growing continously in grace and knowlege 2PET.3.18 and putting to death the works of the flesh. GAL. 5.19-21,COL.3.5.

I think Andrew is the most inspirational teacher but can't agree with his going up to Heaven at
death as the Bible makes it clear that we sleep until the resurrection and we'll reign on earth.
No man has been to Heaven John 3:13. see also Rev.5:10. We will reign on earth.

I get it. and I know it's true. but what do I say to people who quote 1 Corinthians 15:31 where Paul said "I die daily"?
I believe the death in Romans, Paul is speaking of the "old nature" being dead and in 1 Corinthians 15:31 I believe he is speaking of resisting temptations, or otherwise the renewing of the mind.
In being a bondservant of Christ, a slave to Righteousness, he is choosing to renew his mind daily.
Colossians 2:20 NKJV - " Therefore, if you died with Christ from the basic principles of the world, why, as though living in the world, do you subject yourselves to regulations- "

I was so incredibly hurt when I heard this Man of God backed up such an immoral person as Trump. These pastors backing up the current toxicity in politics is like the 1800 all over again. They have become so hypocritical it’s amazing. I love this man. My heart breaks
