Videos can never give true justice to the fearless river. It is so much better to get some tickets and actually experience it. By far my most favorite waterpark feature ever.
Yes, this is the best video on Volcano Bay. You showed things other people don’t like the kiddie area is a lot nicer than anyone else has shown. I’d like to see one on the food too. I’d probably just go for the lazy rivers, wave pool and food plus the beautiful parks atmosphere. I stayed 6 days last March at Cabana Bay which has a nice lazy river. You always do such a great job on your reviews. I hope the parks comp you as yours are really some of the best out there.
Thank you Leslie! Yes I wanna do a full food guide, but it’s tricky as they usually close half the dining locations when I’m visiting. I don’t get comped unfortunately, but I’m not sure I’d want to as it creates a conflict.
I wonder how channels like yours aren't insanely popular 😭 You put in more effort than pretty much any other travel youtuber out there. Thank you for everything!!
Thank you so much! I’m going to Orlando on Friday and this showed me all the best rides! I have been there a lot of times but i love watching Volcano Bay Vlogs and Overviews!
My son and I are watching this vid instead of a bed time story! We love all your vids, definitely our favorite Orlando channel, keep up the great work!
Honestly loved this park when I went to Orlando earlier this year, definitely worth going, the tapu tapu is such a gamechanger I wish other water parks would implement
Nice video and overview of the park, such a genuinely fun place to spend your day. I also appreciate the soundtrack the park has. Lots of surf classics. Think I heard "pipeline" and "walk don't run" 3 times each over the course of a morning.
I still have yet to go here as a Floridian, and I really want to. I love water parks and love universal. I havn't even been to disney water parks in years!!
Great informative vlog. I went here 2 months after its opening in 2017. Back then Capacity crowds every day leading to manic mayhem approaching walkways to slides. Lots of niggles back then and quite honestly total rip off in prices per value day. Now, it does look better and ironed out niggles but i'm still reading comments regarding too busy and too long a wait times. Yes, the virtual queue allows you time to do a fair bit by whilst waiting for your logged in slide ride, which is good. Some may feel having ride now...with no need to virtual queue is a good idea and its usually at the Taniwha Ring × 4 sit on tubes slides but i've seen massive queues there too. Anyway it is a must do park but be prepared.
Another great video! Always love seeing a new upload from you. Man, I hate those water cannons! Nothing worse than enjoying a nice relaxing trip around a lazy river and then suddenly get blasted in the face by someone shooting a water cannon. LOL
Just here to say - another amazing video mate! As others have said, you should be working for Disney and these parks directly! These videos should be playing in their resorts or on the buses/tram into the parks
Recently visited in may 2023 and was really disappointed with this park. Wait times were ridiculous which meant we didn’t get to go on much. The fearless river needs to be way deeper than it is, hit the bottom so many times, as does the wave pool, think it was only 4ft deep. The idea and theme is brilliant, but even with early park admission it just wasn’t that good. Had a much better time at typhoon lagoon despite not having that many slides. That park had just a such a good vibe and had no ques the two days we went to it. That said we used your wonderful videos to help plan our trip and they were so useful, keep up the good work please. Hopefully we will go again soon.
FB, do you ever think you will make it to Williamsburg Va. Busch Gardens? That is a real great park, and super clean. I want your opinion on it🤷♂️ Thanks and enjoy your day
One thing to mention is that they sell alcohol there! Very cool tiki bars. Food is fine and there is one major place to eat to the right once you see the the big volcano.
Okay, your honest opinion: since you’ve now reviewed all four of the Major water parks in Orlando (actually, I think you’ve even done that one at Margaritaville, so, I guess, all 5..)…Which would be the one YOU would say, overall,is worth the, maybe, one day most folks could realistically carve out of their schedule for a water park??
That’s really tricky, but might have to say Volcano Bay. But it does have it’s issues, mainly with tapu tapu. With its size; I find navigating around to be tricky too. One of the good things about the Disney water parks is the lazy rivers go round the whole park, so they’re a great way to get from a to b. Aquatica is the one I find myself wanting to visit the most though, as it has a better laid back locals atmosphere.
Great video, thanks so much!! If I taputapu a line for mor than one hour,, could I taputapu to slide on others that dont have much line whilst waiting? I mean, is it possible to stack lines? thanks a lot!!!
Just visited Volcano Bay for the first time about 3 weeks ago. It's a beautiful water park but I would NOT pay another visit until they get rid of the digital wrist bands. You won't be able to enjoy the park during busy hot months. You can only enjoy attractions via virtual lines. Popular rides were taking almost 200 minutes (you won't be able to enjoy another ride while waiting for the 200 minutes on your current virtual line). They should just implement regular lines like any other water park.
7:55 Do NOT go the wrong way in the fearless river. Not only will the lifeguards yell at you to face forward but there has been many people, mostly children and weaker swimmers, who have been sucked into the current that the wave machine creates. This has caused many lifeguards to have to jump into the water to retrieve them, one of which was removed from the park due to him not following the instructions given to him numerous times. Volcano Bay is a lot of fun but it is also far more dangerous than the other parks at Universal Studios if the rules are not respected.
While large it's actually underwhelming. The way they do things doesn't work IMO. Its much like an amusement park. If you don't get in the virtual Q then you aren't riding certain rides. The wait times end up being so long that you find yourself riding in the rivers all day waiting for your turn. The signage was also confusing as to where things were. It doesn't work as well as Disneys water parks IMO.
Honestly, if you get caught in a long virtual queue or a Florida thunderstorm, just get some drinks at the cabana bar and wait it out. It's fun meeting other parkgoers and lifeguards on break - you might make some friends to hang out with during the rest of your trip :D
I want to do the water parks but I’m the only one in my family who likes them. My brother is literally allergic to water (insane I know but it’s a real condition.) and my father thinks water parks are disgusting. I’m 24 but until I make $$$ a water park vacation is beyond me
Hi Im going this week coming up weather forecast says its going to rain all week smh🙄 and thats the only good thing about it no huge lines😅 anyways thanks for the awesome review.
Didn’t like this experience. Don’t like how the watch prevents you from going on other rides when your watch has a queue for another ride. I also don’t like this so called lazy river. It was strong and no tubes but life jackets instead. Won’t be going back.

I’m sure there’s many reasons lol. Thank you for watching and for the kind words 😁👍
Love a bit of Volcano Bay - my favourite water park - love the fearless river! ❤
Yeah the fearless river is much better compared to Roa’s rapids at Aquatica.
Thanks for this 2023 update! I've seen your previous Volcano Bay videos as well.
Thank you Tristan 😁
Love Volcano Bay! Could do with a day or two in the sun. Thanks for the update!
Very welcome! Thanks for watching 😁
What a totally fantastic job you did making this video and showcasing each of the attractions. Thank you very much !
Thanks 👌Had great fun today at Volcano Bay , very helpful vid! Staying at Lowe’s Sapphire- really convenient for parks and VB, and early access
Glad you enjoyed it. Love that hotel!
Thank you so much! I’m going to Orlando on Friday and this showed me all the best rides! I have been there a lot of times but i love watching Volcano Bay Vlogs and Overviews!

Wow, thanks! 😁😁
Love your vids!! I‘be only been there once, but it was my favorite waterpark I’ve been to.
My son and I are watching this vid instead of a bed time story! We love all your vids, definitely our favorite Orlando channel, keep up the great work!
That is lovely to hear thank you for that 😁
Now this is a water park!

This is awesome waterpark! Recently visited here, very good experience 👍
Best video of volcano bay! Thank you!
Very welcome, thanks for watching 😁😁
Excellent video as always. And yeah, I’ve got a cracking scar on my knee from the fearless river.
Yeah it can be brutal! appreciate the kind words as always 😁
commenting to boost for the algorithm! practically binged every single video of yours before my visit to universal orlando in may. hope you get huge
FB this is real easy . Quite simply the best water park hands down . Love this place ❤
Agreed! I just wish some of the queue weren’t as long.
I will have to go there to confirm your statement, l always loved Water-country USA in Williamsburg
Thank you Thank you Thank you!
You are so welcome!
Nice video and overview of the park, such a genuinely fun place to spend your day.
I also appreciate the soundtrack the park has. Lots of surf classics.
Think I heard "pipeline" and "walk don't run" 3 times each over the course of a morning.
Yes pipeline is a real staple here ha! I also hear ‘surf city’ at least once at every water park I go to 😁
i love your vids. thanks for another one!
Glad you like them! Thanks for watching 😁
I love all your videos, you do a great job and a lot of work goes in to them, thank you
Thank you Karen! Much appreciated as always 😁
Top Video as always mate. Thanks for all the hardwork you put into these 👍. Cant wait to go now
Very welcome Jason, thanks for watching 😁

Thanks for the tips about the lockers will definitely try this on our next visit
Great video! Such a beautiful park I don't know how you could design a better one it's perfect in my opinion
It’s literally perfect, by FAR the best waterpark I have ever been to!!!
That’s why I love Orlando forilda WATERPARK then American Dream
Your videos are by far the best on Orlando! We are heading back for a holiday in August after many years. Your videos get us hyped for it ❤
Damn, my family is planning to go to Orlando, and this just made me even more excited to go.
Hope you have the best trip!!!
@@TheFrugalBrit sheesh yess
going with my friend too
How was it?!?!?
I went to volcano bay in 2017 during the opening year, I loved it and I plan on going again in 2023. I even got lost lmao because it was so BIG!
YAYYY MY FAV CHANNEL UPLOADED DAY MADE ❤❤❤
😁😁😁
I loved this place ❤
Likewise 😁

Thank you for a really great video and overview!
I would probably never go here but love the video as I love Universal. The theming is just as amazing as everything else they do.
Great video! Volcano Bay is very hard to navigate and this is an awesome and informative overview
awesome work as always - universal themselves don't produce content this good!
Much appreciated! 😁
Great video nan 👏
Thank you! That’s a great typo 😂
@@TheFrugalBrit Ooops sorry about that :)
I live about 2 hours from the parks. I really need to make time to check Volcano Bay out in person.
You should 😁
As German I watch these videos I can't go to my parks yet myself I hope so in the future but always love watching these video keep them coming ❤
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for watching!
Least you've got phantasialand!
@@TheMastermind729 I actually never been there I been once but it rained not much to make an impression
Nice W n W shout out. 👌
Thanks for the tour! I wish on the slide signs they had a thrill rating like ski hills do!
Awesome Overview!
I wanted to go there for a long time...
You should treat yourself 😁
Love your videos. Always very informative. Agree that you should do one on Busch Gardens. As always will look forward to your next video.
Thank you! I did a review of Busch Gardens a few months ago.

Probably 'orlandoattractions.com'
Volcano is verry Good
What do you think is the better waterparc aquartica or volcano bay
Volcano bay is much more impressive, but I find I generally have a more enjoyable day at aquatica tbh.
@@TheFrugalBrit thank you
Liked
Do they allow same day reentry
Quiero eso es mi sueño
Is it allowed to record with my GoPro on the rides?
My sister isn’t keen on going here as she’s not a strong swimmer. But I really want to do the slides. Do most end in deep or shallow water?
Ohno and ohyea are the two that finish via dropping you into approx' 6 feet deep water. You have to swim about 8 yards (24feet) to get out.
I should’ve gone here instead of the Hollywood section. I got bored looking at screens after an hour in the park. Islands of Adventure was fun though
So how did you get all the on attraction videos? They wouldn't let me use a gopro.
Not bad at all. I'm gonna miss out on it because I have a pass to the other parks, but definitely looks like people will have fun with it.
Yeah there’s so many parks to choose from!
Are you in the UK or US?
