This was about the time I was lucky enough to see the Ramones play a club in Dallas with maybe 50 people in the audience. I saw them play several other times and wish I could see them now. RIP Joey, DeeDee, Johnny & Tommy.
They were largely unappreciated until the end when it was too late, especially at festivals where they should have been headlining. Imagine these guys at Glastonbury now. Much loved, much missed.
