    If 3830 had slipped when her cardrew valves working flat out, i don't think they would've restarted on that grade. Thank you for sharing this with us.

      So were the piston cover relief valves opening, is that what all the steam escaping was?? I worked steam here in Queensland and never had that happen to me. Interesting for me to see it in operation instead of in theory.

    2:40 and 5:18 You can hear a loco loosing traction! Must be a steep grade.
