😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍this!!! 3830 is definitely an engine that should be brought back into tour service! C'mon PHM! How about finding that million or so dollars to replace the inner firebox that allegedly got "burnt" all those years ago???
@@AussiePom I remember Jennifer from way back then! She was one girl not afraid to get her hands dirty, and who actually knew her way around a steam locomotive!
@@tobys_transport_videos Yes she retained an air of femininity but as you say wasn't afraid to get her hands dirty. 3830 was her baby for I think she oversaw it's restoration from a very dead loco to a stunning operational loco. Bevan Wall filmed 3801 and 3830 on the Unaderra Moss Vale line in appalling weather where 3801 almost slipped to a stand and it was only 3830 pushing from behind and hauling the train too that kept 3801 on the move.
A great little video thanks for the memories i worked trains with 3830 while iwas at Enfield a great loco.
IMO the best out of the 38’s, wish she’d be restored
Great Video. I enjoyed every minute. Thankyou. 👍
my dad John (JACK /Smokey) DAWSON drove the last steam passenger service from the South Coast back in the day 🙄🙄 great memories 😏😏
Who is training these firemen?
