@@Nightshade24122it doesn't work On ps4 because 0 tick doesn't work so a Sticky piston can't leave a block. Also because of that flying Machine doesn't work

@@jimmified its normal for people to swear, even family friendly ytbers swear on a daily basis off-camera. its their choice to be family friendly to target a younger audience. remember, youtubers have a boundery of their personal and their work life. and their personality on camera does not fully define them off camera, whether that is good or bad, it depends.

By far my favorite thing about this build is that Doc called it the "Purple Swaggavator" and you called it the "Docavator". That says an insane amount about how much respect and humility you all have for each other.
It's not "insane" bud, it's pretty standard.

Since whenever I watch Doc, it's on Hermitcraft videos, which are always largely catered to younger audiences, hearing him say "you know what, that's fucking epic" brought a stupid smile to my face 😂

I'm still going crazy over how over-engineered this manic thing is - AND THE ACTUAL ELEVATOR IS ONLY TWO-BY-TWO WIDE!!!
The thing that blew me away was that the elevator IS 2x2, and not just a single block! It's insane... I love me a good bit of over-engineering :D
The first legit multi floor piston elevator
The others were:
-Realistic piston elevator but not stackable
-Stackable but with no piston or no call function
-Mev
Idk this isn’t rly stackable as it’s thickness (the walls behind) will always grow as the height does

I beg to differ. I made one several years ago and made a showcase for Team Seas on my channel just over a year ago. Granted, it's not nearly as good as this one, but it satisfies all the criteria you listed. I also made a version 2 on my new redstone channel, @jazziiRed.
If you can impress Doc, you can scare Mumbo.
The water display is absolutely fantastic. The rest as well of course, but I've never seen water used like that :)
Fun fact, cobblestone walls aren’t “broken” that is an intended feature. Even documented on the wiki for redstone functions.

Awesome Elevator! A while ago I tried to build an elevator based on this piston engine but then I thought: "Nah it's gonna be wayy too loud and laggy" xD (My attempt would have failed anyway) Multi-floor is sick and so complicated. That was surely *some* work. Well done

Big ups to you man. I made a realistic multi-floor elevator several years ago before I made a channel. Posted that to Reddit, but it didn't get a whole lot of traction. Last year, I made a quick showcase for Crafty's Team Seas video and was inspired to make a V2 design with a few improvements. That showcase is the first video on my channel.
That said, neither version is as good as this one. Really really impressive stuff and great job on making the elevator cab so small and the shaft completely sealed. And of course the floor indicator. Amazing work!

Elevators go slow anyways. Im actually pretty happy it's slow. It makes it way more "real".
I had a light bulb moment when you presented the "ding" sound effect. Perhaps you could arrange noteblocks on every floor playing the elevator music all at the same time.

What a great video omg you can tell you put a ton of time and effort into it, especially the dramatic reveal (which was awesome and absolutely necessary LOL) but you also ensured that every plug that you put in (patron, sub image at the end) was super concise!! You purposefully kept your descriptions brief and there's literally no way that someone can say you're milking the fact that Doc collabed with you for a HC build. They have no reason to say that anyway, this build is literally INSANE!!

Very interesting, I'm planning to try and design a very similar elevator myself soon so I'm curious as to how you wired the parts that fire the pistons, since it has to make the trapdoors not flip open and shut. I'm currently trying to work out a sequential observer line like this to get around that problem.

I love how normal Redstone users are completely shocked in reaction to the of what DocM says on a casual basis. It is hilarious. What he does is far more out of the ordinary than what you expect from other's. He can't copy someone else's design, he's gonna have his own and make it better than everyone else's.
