Great informative video!! We went to The Cluny for a drink Sam Fender weekend on the Saturday afternoon..proper chilled vibe sat outside..couldn’t get near the Tyne Bar - massive queue out the door..we’ll be back though. We haven’t done the tunnel tour so will give it a try. Shame I’m working all weekend so will miss the festival. Keep the videos coming - great job 👏
I live in Southend in Essex, but I love watching the Tyne Life videos. Visited Newcastle a few years back, had a great visit, really lovely part of the country, the city of Newcastle is a amazing place and look forward to returning in the near future. Keep up the amazing work you are doing on these video, love them.
Just had a day out walking into and around Ouseburn today.First time around in about 2yrs,cracking place, great for everyone and anyone with loads to do and see.I didn't know Ouseburn had a festival and I'm very keen on checking it out nxt week hopefully so thanks for the info.Another great video...p.s,we did the Victorian tunnels a few yrs back and really enjoyed it.
The "Tanneries" boom boom Eddie!! I'm next up there on 3/4 August and can't bl00dy wait. Too late for this year's but have got the 2024 Ouseburn Festival firmly lodged on my to do list. Thanks for the heads up, and how I wish that place was 93 miles further south!
Great times around Ouseburn back in the day mate, then kids came along, which put the buffers on it! 18 years down the line, and the eldest’s in a band who frequently play around Ouseburn so I’m there more than ever, and I’ll be there on Sunday. Great place Eddie
There is so much to celebrate preseason now. The upcoming Preseason Matches in America should really help Newcastle's Standing in America. It looks like Football (soccer) is starting to 'take off' finally in the US. The festival is a really good idea.
Aye Eddy a great wee pub crawl there.....Cumberland, Cluny, Tyne Bar, Ship. Perfect 🍻. Just watched nufc tv's Tonali"s 1st trip & behind the scenes at the club. Enjoy the rest of your weekend !
Oi oi that's My auld local the Tyne bar.cushty vibes.i lived on st la LA's square (st Lawrence square)1996-2002 Tyne bar had a free jukebox and it was a belta.... Ps Mr Scruff is a belta DJ he was funky.deep house .I be seen him might have been shindig 🤔it's a blur to be fair
Not sure I'd get away from the Tyne Bar all weekend 😂 but I'm at work anyway next weekend. Might get up on the Sunday for the vibe and an ice cream and drink some 0% 👌
Loved my summers in Ouseburn mate. Kids came along and put the buffers on it. Now my eldest’s in a band who play Ouseburn often so I’m making a comeback! Me n my better half will be there Sunday
The Ouseburn is a lovely area. However, it seems local residents are against any change for the area to modernise. Two building projects have been scrapped either side of Fisherman's Wharfe, due I think to blocking views. Also some objections against the Whey Aye project. Surely a vibrant progressive city needs to move forward, and not be stuck in the past. These three areas in point are just eye sores at the moment.
Great content , fantastic quality. You make the North East and the great people who live here very proud. thank you
🙏
Well said

Wow! Not even a five minute walk
What's parking going to be like around the area eddy
I wouldn’t bother trying Andrew. It’s difficult at the best of times. Easier way is walking from one of the Metro stations, or taxi
@TynesideLife cheers eddy ...saved a bit of chew
I love a pint at the Tyne Bar.

I’ll be heading there on Sunday Dave. Drop me a message 👍🏻
I like the sound of this festival but when they say fully vegan, is the whole festival vegan or is there somewhere for ordinary people to eat Eddie?
That’s just the Ship Inn that fully vegan mate. Full menu everywhere else 🤛🏻
@@TynesideLife Ah thank god, thanx Eddie i hope i bump into you to say hello mate as im a huge huge fan!

Cheers Martin 🤛🏻
At the Ouseburn. Nice.
Can you do a street interview of people of Newcastle like how it's like living here or on other different topics, by the way love your channel

Saw you down Quayside yesterday about 4pm was gonna say hello but think you were about to film yourself
Ahh you should have said hi mate 👍🏻
