Meeting someone online and interacting through a game like journey sounds like such an awesome experience!

I do believe Journey helped me grow as a person, to be more considerate of others, more understanding and accepting of our differences. It touched me in a way no other game ever has. I can't explain why, but the why doesn't really matter in the end. TGC sticks to their guns and only develops games with emotional impact. From flOw to Flower (flow-er? ;)), Journey to Sky, all amazing and all award winning games. Also, game mechanics may seem simple (but extremely well done) but in reality there is a LOT that can be done with those mechanics. The community calls it "fancy flying" and wow, it brings a whole other aspect to the game exploration.

Journey is in my top five games ever played. So when I saw your video I instantly clicked on it. On the game itself I love the atmosphere and I almost have to tear up every time I hear the music. I love that the only interaction between people is through music and only positive. No comment section. No blocking the way. Only helping and accompanying each other on each other's individual journey. Just as love some people join your journey for a while while others stick until the end and others you won't see again ever. I really really love the message behind journey.

I was late to Journey and was surprised there were still people online, it's really cool you had a similar experience! I wasn't thrilled with the gameplay but it is a relaxing experience and better for having shared it with another

Super relaxing! I didn't even mention that in the discussion, but you are absolutely right

I didn’t realize that I was traveling with a like minded living breathing person into afterwards. I was discussing the game and a friend told me it was an actual human. It blew my mind. Still does

I love games with lots of mechanics, like Dark Souls, Hunt : Showdown, Hitman... But I still think Journey might be, to me, the most exceptionnal and moving game ever made.
I play it again regularly, and each time, I find myself bursting into tears during the final ascencion. I'm a grown man but I end up sobbing like a baby. EACH and EVERY time. It wasn't like : I cried the first time and got desensitized by it, no... It gets me every time.
Might be the only piece of art that constantly gets me emotional no matter how many times I've beat it.
This game is perfect, even the gameplay is amazing and the sliding/floating sensations are just out of this world.

Journey is a really cool game. One time while riding the carpets to the summit of the mountain I fell down in the waterfalls and lost my friend. I could never find them again, it was tragic...

That is tragic!!! Your buddy should have jumped into the waterfalls to find you!

I played journey in 2012 and have replayed it a couple times, most recently Christmas of 2022, it hits me different every time. One of the few games I consider a 10/10. Sky is a lot like journey, but the social aspect is turned up to 11, I've played it for about 2 years now, still charming.

I played this game on PC on mushrooms. WOW. I had goosebumps on many occasions, it was nice being alone. I left feeling affected, in a very good way.
It made me feel kinder than I usually am. I want to bring that forward in to my day to day life. I will.

I was wondering. Is the Steam version any good? I dosen’t seem to have much positive reviews as it could’ve.
