As someone who grew up in the greater bay area of California there are actually quite a few oil refineries in the bay area, I even have family members that worked at one of them. So with the bridge in mind, the Bay Area of California seems a reasonably likely guess for the setting, though probably not San Francisco itself
For the mall discussion: i feel like two large parts were that in alot of places, they cracked down on loitering so teens and young adults no longer really had a safe public place to meet up as a group and we had two major recessions in the economy so rent for the stores skyrocketed and so did alot of the pricing.
2:28:00 You mentioned the town in Florida (Babcock Ranch), but the big thing about that town is that it weathered a high-powered hurricane with minor flooding and minimal loss of power. It was built to be a self-sufficient community by people who cared to build a town that didn't have to worry about any of these issues in the future (flooding, power loss, etc). It's really fascinating to see how much they built for that town to make sure it was as safe as a town in South Florida can be.
The warning you skimmed at the start did say that if you had played kingdom before you should use one of the hard difficulties. This probably feels easy for you because you are on the mode designed for new players
California's Marin County Civic Center, designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in the background! They're also having their county fair right now! Its around 15 miles north of the Golden Gate Bridge, and pretty close to Skywalker Ranch.
Gotta love how Optimus freaking Prime is just chilling in the motor pool while the world is literally overrun around him 😂 Also just realised that the canon on Wiz's robo turret is Optimus Prime's gun from the original cartoon.
Don't feel bad about annoying dogs, my neighbour had a chihuahua type dog, for 15 years. 15 YEARS (for context, my neighbour is somewhat rich, the mother bought a dog i guess to please her 2 kids, never train it to behave whatsoever and they were never home majority of the time), it barked non stop when the maid leaves the apartment no matter how long (last known record was 16+ hrs), it barked like no tomorrow. I could be leaving the house to take the lift, it barked. Delivery folks, Barked. I didn't want to sound cruel, but when it die... there was peace. But you can expect Inconsiderate people to be consistent, they frking got A NEW DOG! This time it's a husky, which are pretty vocal dog. And the cycle continues. Mind you, I have nothing against dogs. But holy h3ll, I'm beginning to believe they got the dog out of spite.
I really enjoy seeing what they changed for this installment of the Kingdom Series. The additional Characters in your team are really cool =3 (This next part has nothing to do with the game, only responding to the comments about Madoka Magika) I don't really get why people call it "Torture Magical Girl Anime", but that is certainly not the appeal nor is it the goal. From what I remember there isn't even any real physical torture/gore. The story is just a tragedy with a hopeful end. Madoka Magika is a story about finding hope in a grim reality. I can wholeheartedly recommend the show, but maybe prepare yourself mentally for the third episode; it's a real gut punch. But if Wander ever decides to continue watching Puella Magi Madoka Magika; I hope you'll enjoy it!
There one theory that the Titanic was switch with it sister ship because it sister ship was on barrow time due to a wreck it had. As they claim it sister ship survive way beyond what it should had and since the ships had similar build it would not be too hard to switch there names.

While it doesn’t have an anime, magical girl apocalypse is quite the brutal manga. I believe its Japanese name is mahou shoujo of the end. I would not recommend unless you want violence, death, and a very confusing plot, but yes, torture magical girl fits very well as a description for it.
I read Magical girl site, which is a sequel to magical girl of the end, but I didn't know when I started the manga. That was really confusing and in the last few volumes I realised I read the sequel first and that there was a whole plot happening before magical girl site, which seems to explain a lot of plot holes. I did like it nonetheless.

I think my only improvement I'd have made is making it clear if a thing was 'End of Episode' , especially without backtracking being a thing.
