It was still beautiful but for some reason the Xenosaga ones tug on my heartstrings that little bit more. Which I do put down to the music, cos I'm more attached to Blade as a series than Saga. Future Awaits is still absolutely incredible.

And in finally beating this one, since I got near the end and got stuck on something and ended up playing something else... then never went back to it. Then again I'm the weirdo that liked Grandia III and Star Ocean: Till the End of Time, two other often-overlooked PS2 RPG's that filled my childhood.

They don’t like doing remasters, and remastering Xenosaga involves updating three substantially-sized games (including well over a dozen hours of cinematic cutscenes) for what’s still, at the end of the day, a relatively niche audience. And frankly the games have not aged gracefully in many respects, meaning that if released as-is they’re not going to bring in a ton of new players outside of Xeno diehards: they’re too slow, clunky and inconsistent. It sucks, but that’s the reality of the situation.

I am in a situation like Shion who loves one person dearly and avoided relationships, and I'm like Allen who loves a person but afraid to speak up. Been single until now, I can manage myself very well, but I sometimes feel lonely, I understand now why God said "Its not good for man to be alone". Xenogears had given me a very beautiful experience, this game also delivered something memorable, perhaps i could play this song with the harmonica. God bless you all

And yesterday, I finally realized why and told the woman I love how I feel about her after having been too afraid to say anything for the better part of a decade.
Never would I have thought a song with such an amazing flute, a great hit of that nostalgic bass from the early 90s, a GREAT chorus and harmony, and an AMAZING guitar performance would be such a PERFECT ending theme to the first episode the best videogame series ever. This is a Xenosaga song but I always felt that the song is made for Lacan and Sophia from Xenogears. Especially at the lyrics: While your picture fades each day In my heart the memory stays Glowing bright, you're always smiling. The picture seemed to me the painting Lacan's painting of Sophia. I love this song because I can feel the struggle of Lacan, with this song. Maybe its a homage of Xenosaga to Xenogears.

I've yet to play Xenosaga, but I can connect to this song so much. It's spectacular.
