    Thank you! This was SO helpful, as my cartoon characters are drawn with pen and paper! Maybe you could do one on my next challenge: Adding color (but not in photoshop. I like to color in illustrator. ) thanks again!!!

    Hey Helen.. just wondering what version of Ps you were using to demonstrate on. I shockingly have Ps3!(I know) but the final filter tool for 'minimum' doesn't get me the option for round and other goes square. any trick for making the lines more smooth? many thanks

      @DesignCuts  3 года назад

      Hey Lucy,
      Thanks for getting in touch and I am sorry to hear that you are having some difficulty finding the filter Tool. As this video was created back in 2018, then it's most likely that Helen was using Photoshop CC2018. If you could pop us an email at hello@designcuts.com with a screenshot of what you are seeing on your end so we can look into this for your further.

    is there a way to make the lines smooth?

    • @DesignCuts
      @DesignCuts  3 года назад +2

      You absolutely can Jay! If you turn the 'smoothing' tool up to 100% this will ensure your lines have no jittering effect. This can usually be found in the top toolbar alongside 'opacity' and 'flow' (when the brush is selected).
      I hope this helps Jay, but if you have any other questions, feel free to pop us an email at hello@designcuts.com and we will be more than happy to help :)
