This mother's day, tell her that she can also make mistakes, she can also be wrong, she can also be human, like all of us.
This mother's day, The Sahitya Project thought of giving a platform to the first storytellers of our life, our mothers. The initiative was named Ammi and it received an overwhelming response from all over the country. 21 Mothers performed in the event out of which 19 mothers performed on the stage for the first time in their life.
This mother's day, write a letter to your mom and tell her to re-initiate something that she has stop doing, tell her to live her dreams, tell her to live once again, tell her to make mistakes.
Our partner Indigifts has taken an initiative to send 1 lakh printed letters to moms, this mother's day. Why don't you also write a letter to your mom and tell her that she can also be wrong?

Never had i ever felt my inner feelings so exactly put to words. These r the very words i wanna tell my Maa who is still trying to outweigh herself. How can i make her feel that there is no more polishing of a diamond, nothing better than God n nothing brighter than light. My Maa is a diamond, God n light. I am her part n she mine.

My experience which disturbed me a lot in life. I love my mother to live her life for herself now, without bothering, whatever my father says.
