I love snow globes & this is the best diy one I've seen. I bought a plastic terrarium from Dollar Tree that I'm gonna try the fan one with, that way it already has a hole in the top. The comment about ventilation at the bottom, also is helpful.
HI I LOVE YOUR SNOW GLOBES THE ONE WITH THE METAL BOTTOM JUST NEEDS SOME VENTALATIONS HOLES OR ELEVATION SO AIR CAN BE SUCKED IN FROM UNDER NEATH OR FROM THE SIDE GREAT JOB I LIKE THEM ALL THANKS FOR SHARING
I understand this video is 2 years old but I was so excited this morning to make some snow globes this morning when to my bigger dollar tree and didn't have the globe. They have little trees and what not. But found out I can use sealed mason jars.
Do you put glycerine in yours? How do you? What do you put in yours to keep the snow from staying in one spot? It needs to Settle down to the bottom and then you can shake it again to make it go up. I was told to use put glycerin in the water I don't know
These snow globes are all sooo adorable! I had no idea DT actually sold a kit. I also like using my sticky tool for things like this, but I forget I have it! 😂
i noticed when they used the fan they used the tiny styrofoam balls, maybe it's the weight of the snow, of course i noticed the ventilation as well, maybe a hurricane that's open at both ends.
These are great, will try to do. May I say, not wanting to step on toes, the glare from the light made it kind of hard to fully see the finished product along with clear being on white background, not sure if you may have realized or not :) Thank you for your time and uploads.
I will probably add more later but the part that got cut out was the snow on the ground. Did you end up using the silicone because I was wondering what would hold up long term under water and I don’t see glue sticks doing that. In your product list I didn’t see the snow. So what is it and is it the same glued on as mixed in after the glycerin and water are mixed in. Did not know dollar tree sold these snow globe kits so I’m excited! Hope they still have them this year. Did you find them with crafts or Christmas stuff?
Will snow globes but I thought you were going to list what you used in down below what is a tool I'm talking about with the one on the bucket and the fan this is just an idea you used glass you had a tool to cut the hole in the glass but what about a plastic fish bowl you can melt the hole and it easier but it's not as heavy as a glass would be like for are wise I guess I don't know I don't know anything about stuff like that but I was just taking a gander because the plastic would probably get more air in I don't know just throwing it out if anybody thinks it might work or not
Ironically, I did one almost just like this off the top of my head but my water turned murky. I used distilled water, a little glycerin, some glitter and I had a santa figurine and 2 trees behind him. I had to trim the trees to fit the globe and I glued the excess branches to create ground cover. Not sure why my water turned murky though 🤷🏼♀️ Maybe the glitter was biodegradable? Maybe the tree leached some color into the water? Not really sure
Hi I’m Evelyn. I’m new to your channel. I would like to share the things that I’ve made with you and all the RUclips creators that have encouraged me to take a chance and try to make things. How can I share what I’ve made with you all without recording myself? I’m an amateur and don’t know how to record myself. Any ideas would help
I'm worried about the glass fragments from drilling the hole in the glass, blowing through that hole in the top, or sifting through the mesh at the bottom? I don't think the mesh would stop at least the fine bits, which would still be dangerous, getting in your eyes etc....but ALL of your snow globes are wonderful!!!
Attaching the model to the rubber stopper is a nightmare. It’s ok if you want to use cheap, lightweight plastic models I guess. But I made a little house out of epoxy resin. It was hollow so still fairly light, but the rubber was too flexible and it soon pulled away. I tried hot glue and it failed. Superglue failed. I tried Gorilla glue and it failed. Aruldite - failed. When tipping the globe to get the snow to flurry, the model pulled the glue and the glue and rubber separated because the rubber was so flexible it peeled away from the g,use and the model came loose. There has to be a better way.
@ I never found a solution. I ended up screwing the rubber base to the model and putting silicone glue around the screws to prevent leaks. But the weight of the model just caused the rubber to rip around the screw holes when tipped. In terms of wasted glues, liquid to fill the globe with, fake snow and glitter the project cost me an extra £25 on top of the cost of the globe itself. And nothing at the end to show for it. It would have cost less to buy a ready-made snow globe. I just don’t rate these globes at all
Well, it's plain you didn't use a Dollar Tree can opener on that tin. I bought one and couldn't get a can open. I had to do in spurts and then at the halfway point just pried the lid up and poured the contents out. Poor workmanship and for that extra quarter all they do is make items smaller. Disillusioned. But your snow globes are darling. Thanks for sharing...sorry all for the ranting.
I almost took a short nap. You talk on the slow side. And the glare from the lights made it so hard to see. Im sure its beautiful, maybe. Lol Plus I don't know about this snow....maybe I will find a better video. Sorry
Totally Cute Ideas 👍🏼 I Liked The Index Card Idea 2. I used an old party paper hat. 🤙🏼😎✨✨✨✨✨

I always wish I had one Snow Globe...But now.....I Can Make It Myself!!!!!......I AM SO HAPPY
I hope you have as much fun as I did.
I like the water snow globe the best!,
My seed bead kit is now multicolors. My new kitten thought it should be all over the floor. Lol. Thought you would smile at this.
Awesome job the color changing is great but actually I love them all
Hope things get better for you soon! 🙏🏼🥰🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Thank you for sharing your video. I enjoyed it very much.
I love the lighted snow globe. I needed another snow globe idea for my display. Thanks for sharing.
You are so welcome!
How about photos as a new ideal
I love that you leave the bloopers so makes these better and less intimidating for me . Cause I know that would be exactly what would happen to me 😂❤😊
Great job and presentation!
WOW!!! Whats not to love!!! ALL ADORABLE!!! THANK YOU!!!!, Hope to try!!!
I have one of those quick sticks to pick up beads for jewelry that I make. It does make it much easier to pick up tiny objects.
I absoltely love this idea. I have never seen one made like this before. Thanks now my turn.
You M'am are a genius. You've made the sweetest Christmas globes ❤
Love them! 🎄🎄🎄🎄
I 💝 love all of these. Great ideas
I wonder if you can put a vent hole in the metal under the fan so it can draw air in...

Beautiful. I love them all. You're right, the one with the light changing colors is my favorite too.
Thanks so much 😊

Holy moly those are amazing
Glad you like them!
Thank you for sharing your beautiful ideas with us!
Great snow globes. Love them all, but I have to agree the one with the changing colors is my favorite. Well Done. TYFS (Pauline S)
Thank you. :-)
At what space are the lights. I have spent 20 min trying to find that one in video
Love them all, try putting some small holes in bottom, may actually work
I want to make these for my family for Christmas:))
Love them all.... the candle stick is my favorite...... cute.

this is the best ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks! :-)
They are all so pretty! Great job! I wish I had extra time...I would make all four! Hard to choose just one favorite.
Thanks so much.
These snow globes are all sooo adorable! I had no idea DT actually sold a kit. I also like using my sticky tool for things like this, but I forget I have it! 😂
I forget I have the sticky tool as well, and it's always sitting on my desk, so there's really no excuse for me not remembering it. :-)
You need to have air flow underneath. The fan draws air in and blows out. The globes are beautiful, I hope my suggestion helped.
i realize it's kind of off topic but do anyone know of a good website to stream newly released tv shows online ?
@Orlando Zyaire i watch on FlixZone. Just search on google for it =)
These are adorable!
What did you use for the snow on the base of the first snow globe? It was cut out.
You have to ventilate from underneath. Have you tried that. They all are outstanding DIY. Thank you.🙂💕
Thank you. Actually yes, I have tried that and it made no difference. I honestly think the Dollar Tree fan is just not strong enough.
That's what I said
Other than around the base where else did you add the silicone?
Cute idea but why don't you use the puff paint for snow?
I think the E6000 was a g😢choice to seal the first one. Hot glue on high heat doesn’t harden as quickly, but I don’t know if the plastic would melt.
Love them all. Thanks
Glad you like them!
Hi it’s beautiful and I’m sure with a different lighting you will appreciate it better thank you white on white can’t appreciate the idea
I love all of them
thank you. :-)
Where did you get the glycerine and the silicone glue? Very cute potjects! I would love to make some of these for my coworkers
Can you do photos in a snow globe?
i noticed when they used the fan they used the tiny styrofoam balls, maybe it's the weight of the snow, of course i noticed the ventilation as well, maybe a hurricane that's open at both ends.
This is soooooo cool 💜🔥💖
Omg Soo Beautiful ,,I love them This is by far my favorite DIY 😊
Great job, they are beautiful!

So pretty! Thank you for taking the time to explain in details on how to DIY.
GREAT TIPS
Also using the silicone is a great tip!
Thanks, I really didn't want it leaking in my house so I had to think about what was waterproof. :-)

My snow won’t go down, all of it at least, some is still floating at the top and stays there, it looks like a cloud
Love snow globes. Would love to see photos in them.
Do the trees rust in the water?
Cute my mom said i will make it tommorow i have the stuff 🎅👼🤑🎄🎊🎀☃🎇❇✨🎆

Now that it's been two years, I'm wondering if the one with water has rust in it from the wire in the tree...
Ironically, I did one almost just like this off the top of my head but my water turned murky. Love it
I.love.theme. all
Thank you
How do you keep the articles from unsticking from this subjects from floor of globe?
I used a glue that was waterproof.
Could you please explain which waterproof glues that is used in crafting.
Tradução por favor obrigado 😮
How does the glycerin work? Do I need glycerin?
Glycerin thickens the water so the glitter moves more slowly.
Most fans have a auto cut off button if it falls over might need to check this out
Can you put mineral oil instead of glycerin?
I have heard you could replace they glycerin and water with baby oil. I would guess mineral oil could work the same way.
Great video! Love how you didn't even swear when the fan didn't work!😅😅😅😅🤣😂🤣😂👏👏👏👏👏
Right?! It was a Dollar Tree fan though, so I really wasn't surprised. LOL

Your fan snow globe needed air flow from the bottom
You should have agreed more water it shouldn't have that big of a air bubble
Muito lindo amei ❤

Buenas, por favor se puede traducir en español.
Where do I buy glycerin?
You can find glycerin at the grocery or pharmacy.
@@Salmonde_At_Home Yes, they also carry it at Michael's too. I noticed they carry it there.

Far too long explanation. Sorry, don't have almost 1h to see and listento you... it's something to have fun, with kids...
I love your globes but you almost lost me because you are moving too slow. Please use fast forward sometimes. Thank you.
Ok, thank you
