Its always a joy to see a new upload from Donnie Laws. Love this Ridge series so relaxing. These animals coming through and interacting with the camera and some with each other. So cute and Dirty Dan always gives us a little bit of a laugh. He and the mrs must be tending to the younguns at the Rock hotel

I come all the way from Singapore and just recently fell in love with the Appalachian way of life, her people, her culture and her stories. Your videos are so soothing to me, I always love listening to your stories and videos before I go to sleep. Singapore has completely lost touch with its fishing village roots and got turned into a polished and plain city, so it’s so nice to see people who still stick so strongly to their roots. That was a great video of that skunk carrying its baby. I’ve seen em where the skunk babies followed the mother right across the road like ducklings follow their mother but I’ve never seen a skunk carry it’s young like a cat does. Thanks so much! Your western PA friend.

Hi Donnie! This is a great video! I loved seeing the skunk carrying its baby and I’m pretty sure it was Sidewinder! At the very end of seeing him you can see how wobbly he is. Always enjoy seeing what the critters have been up to this week. I caught a glimpse of a fawn in the woods behind my house. The little thing was must bigger than a small dog and running around like crazy with Mama chasing right behind.

every day is a beautiful day in Appalachia! we got some storms here in KY, but luckily the worst of it passed us by. in my holler we just had a few trees blowed down by the road, that was it. love these videos though, people should see all the beautiful woods and wildlife here in Appalachia! we're up to our eyeballs in whitetail here too, for sure. got some wild turkey too, i've seen the tom several times, and the hen i've only seen once, walkin by the edge of the forest. sounds like there's wood thrushes singing in the background, them are some of my favorite birds! we have a bunch around here too and their songs are so pretty. wonder what kind of owl that was, i heard it a few times too ... we don't have many owls around the house, i'm kind of surprised since we have every other bird just about, and tons of mice. gorgeous video! lord i don't know what that orb is in the one part of the video though. surely if it were just a reflection it would've shown up in more than just that one spot? who knows though. that's a bit odd .... but a gorgeous video though, look how lucky we are here in Appalachia to have all these beautiful woods and wildlife. i love it! :)
