I'm doing the same on my truck. I got a 02 chevy silverado z71 with the stepside bed. I already did all the killmat stuff. I took out the carpet and head liner to do it the right way. I'm ordering those speakers today ,just hope they sound good ,a mis niños y a mi esposa les gusta la musica alta nomas por eso lol
Sounds good no doubt. My silly as can't stop there. Now I've got 3 runs of 1/0 gauge n ultracaps n a pile of batteries going to to much for my own good. Expensive but rewarding habit. Keep up grading n ill be watching. Take care bro

Nice set up but as a advice you should put some rubber spacers on the amp to prevent any damages due to rattle/vibration

Man i had some sky high car audio splitters on my amps and i thought my rca was going out bc i kept hearing my speaker pop at loud volume but i turned the amp down a bit and it didn’t help so i unplugged the splitter and it went away smh now to drop 400 on another stereo 😂😂🤦🏾♂️

DS 18 is just rebranded speakers basically. I personally think there is far superior stuff out there, especially in the same price point or cheaper. If you are happy then that’s all that matters.

Wow you like living on the edge cranking your radio without first tuning the amp. And I’ll stop there but guaranteed you’ll be back in all in that install multiple more times I know. Keep track of your labor time and all the different components you have already used and what you will use then imagine how nice of a system you could of got in the first place.

That is not amazing sound bro. WAY too much highs, and ZERO mid bass presence before 100hz. I just removed DS18 from my doors, and put them in the trash where they belong. Zero presence from under 100hz, need to start at no higher than 55hz. DS18 = thumbs down.
