"Muerto" is Spanish means " death" which, for me,, is a smart omage for the killer & DND Texas also regions that have own climates, I would hypothesize that that fictitious county would be in either "panhandle" region Amarillo, Texas or the west Texas region near El Paso, Texas. Both are usually hot, dry regions. Second, (& this just my personal view) I believe that the Nurse could from Northeast Texas around Cass County. This County has is very heavy in the forestry business & Northeast Texas is just full crazy people ( I know because I live there)
To add the muerte/muerto discussion, as with the English language, Spanish has several variations & dialects. Muerto/Muetre falls under this. In " proper " Spanish ( what is taught in school & what Google translate uses), Lilyana & moqi are correct. However, if you live in Texas like I do, you will hear more "common" Spanish. If you try to talk to someone in proper Spanish who was raised speaking common Spanish, they will either laugh at you or think you are crazy. Just wanted to point this out, Heather/Cheryl moved to Portland (presumably the real life Portland in Oregon) with Harry to hide from the cult after she was born. You could say she's from Silent Hill because she was born there and you wouldn't be wrong, but I think it's still worth mentioning. She then moved again to the Daisy Villa Apartments, where she lives during the current events of Silent Hill 3. I can't find where the Daisy Villa Apartments are based on. Then she goes to Silent Hill for the rest of the game. It's unclear if she ever goes back when she works at the call center stated in DBD's lore, but I would assume she wouldn't want to stay in Silent Hill, or if anybody even lives there. Not too much in bulk when it comes to singular forested areas. If he’s still in driving distance from Yale it’s far more plausible he was taken from Vermont or New Hampshire.
Sorry, there is a small error regarding Bill. He was taken from Georgia, not Pennsylvania. After 'The Sacrifice' DLC was released, VALVe released a comic tie in for the DLC for both games to explain how the L4D survivors end up meeting the L4D2 survivors. The comic explains that once Zoey, Louis, Francis and Bill were able to escape the Daughtery Farm, they were brought to a military base in Millhaven, Pennsylvania. The base gets overrun by zombies and they get put on a train south where the tracks stop in Rayford, Georgia. In 'The Passing' DLC in L4D2, the L4D2 characters meet the Zoey, Louis, and Francis from L4D in Rayford and need their help to lower a bridge. Bill is noticeably missing and they mention losing someone. During the finale chapter, you take an elevator down and you see Bill's dead body and in 'The Sacrifice' DLC, the canonical ending has Bill sacrificing himself so the others can get to safety. In Bill's DBD lore, it says "In the end, Bill sacrificed himself to ensure their safety. His body was never found. Bill was left for dead." which references this. Unless Bill sacrificed his life twice post apocalypse, Bill was taken from Rayford, Georgia.
I think one of Meg’s outfits mentions running around Denver, so Colorado is definitely correct, but we can actually narrow it down even further. Also, my understanding of the Clown is that his carnival actually roams around the different realms and just happens to be set up at Crotus Pren at the current moment. You can see this by looking at Campbell’s Chapel in the map selector in Custom Games. So pinning down a specific location for him is really hard. And this may be the point, since he’s kinda a vagabond.
Have you considered doing a video about what time period each of the killers and survivors come from? I imagine most survivors would be from the modern era but the killers are very spread out in terms of when they were taken by the entity, like Plague being around when Babylon was still a place. It'd be very interesting to see what time period they each come from. This video was great, I hope to see more videos like this :D

I grew up in the real Haddonfield, went to high-school there a few years after the film came out. No mass murders though. It's actually a really rich town with old money and colonial houses that have old slave quarters. I grew up in the 'poor' part of town though, basically on top of the train tracks.

Now, if you ask me, I would say that Ace comes from Buenos Aires exactly, his cosmetics and clothes give me to understand that he is a "boy from the city", with which he gives me to understand that it is very likely that he is from Buenos Aires. . The reason is because Argentina, in fact, is a mostly rural country, except Buenos Aires, also, if Ace's family is of Italian descent this would make more sense, during the two world wars and even before, Buenos Aires gave a place to get work for a lot of immigrants from Europe, especially from Italy and Germany. So if you ask me, I would say that Ace comes from Buenos Aires, Argentina
I thought about a kind of addition to the game. Some "survivors" only survive because of their desire to survive, going to exceptionally creative lenghts to ensure this (I'm looking at you Ash Williams). A new mechanic where one of the survivors is a kind of "anti-killer". They cannot operate generators, heal or anything of any real benefit to the other four, however, they can slow, stop ot confuse the killer. They are of course just as vulnerable as the rest, except a tough faster and maybe slightly harder to kill (possible "parry" chances?). They're there to be the stone in the killers shoe, with the rest of the survivors sacrificing a couple of toes.
Um, Actually Bill was taken from the location of his Death in Left 4 Dead, at least as far as I remember from his trailer. Wouldn't that put him outside Fairfield, since that place is somewhere down south where the l4d2 team crosses their path? Edit: It would put Bill in Rayford, Georgia. After 'The Sacrifice' DLC was released, VALVe released a comic tie in for the DLC for both games to explain how the L4D survivors end up meeting the L4D2 survivors. The comic explains that once Zoey, Louis, Francis and Bill were able to escape the Daughtery Farm, they were brought to a military base in Millhaven, Pennsylvania. The base gets overrun by zombies and they get put on a train south where the tracks stop in Rayford, Georgia. In 'The Passing' DLC in L4D2, the L4D2 characters meet the Zoey, Louis, and Francis from L4D in Rayford and need their help to lower a bridge. Bill is noticeably missing and they mention losing someone. During the finale chapter, you take an elevator down and you see Bill's dead body and in 'The Sacrifice' DLC, the canonical ending has Bill sacrificing himself so the others can get to safety. In Bill's DBD lore, it says "In the end, Bill sacrificed himself to ensure their safety. His body was never found. Bill was left for dead." which references this. Unless Bill sacrificed his life twice post apocalypse, Bill was taken from Rayford, Georgia.
I think one of Meg’s outfits mentions running around Denver, so Colorado is definitely correct, but we can actually narrow it down even further. Also, my understanding of the Clown is that his carnival actually roams around the different realms and just happens to be set up at Crotus Pren at the current moment. You can see this by looking at Campbell’s Chapel in the map selector in Custom Games. So pinning down a specific location for him is really hard. And this may be the point, since he’s kinda a vagabond.

Have you considered doing a video about what time period each of the killers and survivors come from? I imagine most survivors would be from the modern era but the killers are very spread out in terms of when they were taken by the entity, like Plague being around when Babylon was still a place. It'd be very interesting to see what time period they each come from. This video was great, I hope to see more videos like this :D

It is a real place, but it's not in the same location as where Blight's lore places it (off the coast of India).

I grew up in the real Haddonfield, went to high-school there a few years after the film came out. No mass murders though. It's actually a really rich town with old money and colonial houses that have old slave quarters. I grew up in the 'poor' part of town though, basically on top of the train tracks.

Now, if you ask me, I would say that Ace comes from Buenos Aires exactly, his cosmetics and clothes give me to understand that he is a "boy from the city", with which he gives me to understand that it is very likely that he is from Buenos Aires. .
The reason is because Argentina, in fact, is a mostly rural country, except Buenos Aires, also, if Ace's family is of Italian descent this would make more sense, during the two world wars and even before, Buenos Aires gave a place to get work for a lot of immigrants from Europe, especially from Italy and Germany.
So if you ask me, I would say that Ace comes from Buenos Aires, Argentina
I thought about a kind of addition to the game. Some "survivors" only survive because of their desire to survive, going to exceptionally creative lenghts to ensure this (I'm looking at you Ash Williams). A new mechanic where one of the survivors is a kind of "anti-killer". They cannot operate generators, heal or anything of any real benefit to the other four, however, they can slow, stop ot confuse the killer. They are of course just as vulnerable as the rest, except a tough faster and maybe slightly harder to kill (possible "parry" chances?). They're there to be the stone in the killers shoe, with the rest of the survivors sacrificing a couple of toes.

(i’m a few weeks late but…) there’s a line in jane’s lore about her going to visit her father’s house in new jersey when she was taken by the entity and since she was raised by her father, i believe she might actually be from jersey instead of new york (unless her father only recently moved there idk).
still i think it’s cool to try and pinpoint where each character is from, especially when you aren’t given much information to work with in the first place
