I love the contrast between pinhead and pyramidhead. While pyramidhead acts like a contractor and gets perks with the job pinhead is just an invader and the entity is trying to hold him back from stealing souls from it
Another note on Myers in-game, he apparently gets evil within by draining the evil out of survivors via stalking. Which makes it all the more ironic that his obsession is with a pure, good person like Laurie Strode.
Makes no sense for most survivors, actually. Guess we can make it work with survivors that didn't really get their full lore explained, and we can just plop in the idea of: "They did something bad and we don't know yet" But with people like yui, leon, jill, tapp, laurie, and mostly every survivor, it just makes no sense, it's pretty weird.
I always found it weird how the entity would turn some killers into a 9ft tall blood sucking demon or give them the power to teleport and then just leave other killers like the clown and legion as some weirdos with knives.
My guess is the degree to which The Entity can empower a killer is based off the source material. She wants to forge them into effective killers, and wants to give them the most effective way for them to kill. When dealing with someone who’s already a bloodthirsty murderer, she just gives them minor improvements: aura reading, enhanced strength and sometimes boosts their equipment with some supernatural power. Clown is a good example of this: he was already a sick twisted mass murderer before being taken and had his own methods of murder, the Entity just took his established methods and boosted them with magically restocking bottles and chemicals and occasionally adding some mojo too like with the Red Head’s Pinky allowing for extra damage on his next slash. Killers who needed to be forged into killers like Spirit/Rin got more power cuz they needed a method to kill effectively

I always thought of Legion having asthma, or some other medical thing that flared when they start exerting themself more. I’ve noticed in the killer menu, or when they are just walking, they take longer, calm breaths. After they start frenzying, you can hear them breathing fast and heavily, and it might explain why they are in pain after running faster/jumping through stuff fast for a while. It might also explain why hitting a survivor refills the frenzy bar, because they get a burst of energy/entity holds off their condition as a reward for giving a survivor deep wounds. It sounds weird, but what got me thinking about it is how hard they are breathing when they start running.
I had actually noticed that myself except my reasoning was from their backstory, they grew up in Alberta in a place where winter hits hard for most of the year and spent a lot of their time hanging out in an abandoned lodge in the mountains, since they spent all of that time there I had thought that perhaps the reason they had such a hard time breathing was because their bodies were having trouble adjusting to whatever is considered the elevation in the entity's realm. However after reading your theory and thinking harder on it it would probably make a lot more since to have a bunch of teenagers with asthma than a bunch of teenagers with altitude sickness lol

They also walk slower because, again, they are humans. One who only got one kill, they have no history of running away from a crime scene so they wouldn't be caught like you would see with Trickster. Hell they cleaned the place they killed in before leaving. They were clearly not in that much of a rush. Unlie Trickster where people notice if he is missing too long.
I feel Legion "feeling freedom" is that they are eternally in a game where they can constantly kill over and over without any law coming after them, The entities "rules" mean little to them as they just get to run wild and have their fun
this is dumb, but I always imagined the other members of Legion are basicly stalking everyone and when the Killer stabs someone during Feral Frenzy, the other members are basicly announcing the other survivors' locations, like what's going with Victor Told you it's dumb, but that's my only way of seeing it, unless we assume that the entity also gave them some kind of 6th sense

I like the theory of PyramidHead manifesting in order to punish the entity for its gluttony and greed. Denying it sustenance by using his own methods of hooking and execution. As well as carving through the realms the entity makes like nothing. But the entity can't get rid of him sense PH manifested himself when Cheryl was taken into the fog.
I think the reasoning behind Pyramid Head's power is that he's here to punish the Entity. The way he does this is by carving gashes/wounds in the realms with his Great Knife, and being one of the few killers (Others being Pig and Shape) who can kill survivors as part of thier base kit. Killing a survivor denies the Entity of collecting part of the survivors soul, meaning that it doesn't get fed. Just my theory though.

The only way to stop Pyramid Head is to admit/confess to your wrongdoings, which the Entity is unable to do, because it doesn't know it's doing bad things. It's like trying to convince a Cenobite that hurting people is bad. They just don't have the ability to believe that. Sure the survivors have probably done some bad deeds before, but it's nothing compared to the Entity's list of bad deeds. Plus it was the Entity that invaded Silent Hill, which means the forces of Silent Hill would first attach to the mindset of the Entity.

(The picture shows people wearing red hoods) Granted, it’s a continuity error that Pyramid Head continues to exist despite James not being around, but for this version of the Silent Hill lore, I don’t think it’s unreasonable for Silent Hill to decide to punish The Entity, and chooses to use the form of Pyramid Head to deal out that punishment.

The entity has apparently altered or messed with the spirit and trappers heads. I feel like while it is not mind control its akin to the old angel demon sitting on their shoulders... except its only the demon. If strong enough such as myers or pyramidhead they can outright ignire the entitys wants.

The Entity definitely defines most things within its realm. It makes people like members of the Legion or Trickster strong enough to render a wooden pallet to dust with a couple of swift kicks, the ability to casually sling a big dude like David onto their shoulder with little effort. It also clearly goes in the other direction by making the survivors weaker. David would kick the shit out of any Legion member in reality, for example. I feel like those people trying to subvert the Entity aren't doing it by actively fighting The Entity, but instead, it's just unaware of them or doesn't consider them a threat.
They definitely all got a genral strength buff since one of the main things that happens in the saw movies is how they mention that Amanda cant set up traps on her own because she isn't strong enough to lift or carry a person. Meanwhile in dbd she just throws them over her shoulder and keeps walking like normal.
In the original Halloween movie, one can assume Myers has some sort of immunity to pain, or minimum some sort of superhuman regeneration, because even in that movie dr Loomis shoots him over 7 times and he is still alive and in fact is seen to need a few moments to strike again after being severely wounded. It seems to me more in keeping with Myers than saying "a cult did it". Buen video, bro.
He probably had some form of emotional shutoff that occured whenever "the evil" took control of him. It seems like he had an episode, and ceased to have any emotional response, including pain.

Well, fun fact about the Blight, the blight serum comes from the Entity herself, yes the Entity is female, she’s been referred by the devs as female a couple times in some interviews. But anyways, the blighted canker plants(I believe that’s what they are called) come from the Entity. As a yearly “infection” that she gets. Which is similar to a chronic infection that real plants get. The Entity seems to also be based off of a plant due to the blight infection and something in Benedicts Journal which states that her biology is similar to that of a plant. But yeah, The Blight’s (Talbot Grimes) power is almost entirely from the Entity.
Entity has no gender. In French, each noun is either masculine or feminen. It has nothing to do with actual gender. Saying Entity is female because of that is like saying doors in Germans see doors as females.
I feel like the entity has to beef up everyone, including the survivors. No human can run forever, or keep going after having a hole torn in their shoulder multiple times
Maybe you can make a theory video as to why there are certain Killers to possess Hex perks, when in reality it was the Hag that apparently controls them, at least lore-wise. Cause I don't think killers such as Pinhead, Deathslinger or Trickster ever knew what Hexes or their perks are until they entered the reail of the Entity, since only Hag has control and knowledge about them.

I’d guess that the killers can all physically interact with each other and since they’re superhuman monsters, they can’t exactly kill each other, so maybe they share their knowledge of killing with each other.

I always love the thought that the executioner was brought into the entity’s realm out of the entity’s own need for judgement. Pyramid head robbing the entity of sacrifices with final judgement leaves the entity on a empty stomach and pyramid head impaling his knife into the entity’s skin in a sense is to physically hurt the entity.
The GhostFace’s lore and power origins are so underrated. The Entity was able to amplify Danny’s exceptional sense of intuition and reap from this a superhuman stealth and perception which allows him to get the drop on survivors in a way that almost no other killer can achieve. And this is further manifested by the floating ribbons on his outfit, which makes it clear that there’s more to this man than just a sharp mind, which he does indeed have. GhostFace is by far one of the best licensed adaptations in the game. Honestly makes me glad that they bought the license for the mask and not the movie, cause that gave Behavior the ability to really brainstorm with this character and create something truly fantastic, a perfect blend of inspiration and originality. Say what you want about Behavior but they make some great characters.

i think the only thing the entity changed on legion was his ability to continue killing since they could stab multiple people on the real world and suffer a lot of fisical and emotional stress leading tho them being captured. Or maybe the entity allow them to switch between the four after every frenzy so they could get the satisfaction of killing without the constant activities(but this theory is a big stretch)
I think Legion's power is explained by one of Blight's add-ons. One of the Add-ons is related to and even in the description has a line saying it comes from a user's swelled adrenal gland. We know Legion is one of the killers inflicted with the Blight, so it could be that when Talbot caught one of the members, he extracted some of their adrenaline. It could be a decent explanation for their power, as well as their levels of fatigue since whenever you get a burst of adrenaline especially one as long and severe as the Legion, you typically feel exhausted or immensely tired afterward. The Entity giving them expanded adrenaline glands that are constantly refilling would make sense.

So many killers with wondrous, supernatural, or otherwise intricate powers...and then you have Trickster, who toyed with knives for attention. I really hope his upcoming tomb expands on his fall to madness. It's a shame his power doesn't seem to connect to Korean culture/folklore.

But Trickster is different, just like the Clown, madness and psychopath were slowly built until it comes off, wich is interesting. And in the real world, you would fear more a human killer than a monster from some movie or cartoon.
I view the last breath as something of a link to the Spirit World. As it is the last breath of her boss and her blinks do work by pulling her through the spirit world.

i like to think that pyramid is just a partner to the entity. the entity let's him to his thing of killing people who feel guilt, and in the process letting the entity do it's thing of eating emotions. it seems that he's probably one of the few permanent killers in the realm

One thing with legion that i don't remember seeing anyone mention and that can explain their power AND why only one of them appear at the same time : They all share the same body (or at least the same mind) after the entity took'em. The idea came from two things : 1) When a killer is mutated *by* the entity, that means they were reluctant to do the job. Trapper got literally hooked, and for example Wraith is heavily mutated (and since he do feel guilty about unknowingly killing people or simply failing to protect others, I can't really imagine him willingly doing the entity's job). On the other side, some like Trickster, Clowns, or Deathslinger see absolutely no problem doing that, they're living their best life basically, and so are left untouched by the entity (only notable things will be the eyes, glowing for Trickster and Deathslinger, completely black for Clown) As for the Legion, they of course seem untouched. Makes sense for Frank, and Julie who'd do everything Frank do. But Susie does not want to harm people, like Joey. Thats why Frank muscled them into doing that, Julie even needed to intervene for Susie who's the only one who *haven't* stabbed in the end. Thats where my 2nd argument come : The Chimeric horror skin. All of the Blighted skins seems to be boosted to 11 version of the killers AND their mutation (thats why Hillbilly isn't *that* mutated cause he wasn't at first, at all, like Huntress, and why Wraith seems to make even less sense and to be literally heartless) i think those skins are what happen when a Killer fails for the entity, or is, at least, something the entity do when it's interested in the Blight experiment. And whats interesting : For the legion the serum seems to have "fused" them all. And if you're still with me, you remember that I'm trying to tell that they ALL share the same body and/or mind ! And also that it's the only cosmetics that includes multiple member of the legion...To be unique. Only Frank have this cosmetics. And knowing BHVR they *totally* could put blighted variant of all 4 of them. So I can't see it *not* being on purpose ! And thats where I'm going, if like I say they share the same mind, that means when anyone other than Frank appear, he's litererally in their mind bossing them, HIS Frenzy and bloodlust are pushing the other more or less willingly ! And I think thats why they seem hurt when the Frenzy stops, when the frenzy activate, thats where Franks grasp is at it's strongest, when it fades, he's loosing it's grasp and is a hurtful process (dunno if you've ever been in a blind rage and ended being forced out of it in a way or another, like being too tired or hurt but uh...I can tell you it's not pleasant) It's even noted in the skin that "Joey lost the control of *Frank* arm" and the one who *is* in control when you use this skin...Is a mutated Frank. And i also thinks thats why the additionnal arms seems to try to grab him, to stop him. I'm even gonna add to that it's said Joey tried to *free* himself from the Legion, he's absolutely not willing to be here !
So basically we now know that Myers powers come from the fact he is just pure evil. Every kill makes him more powerful and helps him ascend to his pure form
Amanda has to have been given more strength because she almost lost a fight with a weapon against a guy who has just cauterized his leg that he sawed off and does not have a weapon.
I think the legion acts from the adrenaline, rage and lust for blood in the game. For instance you get so caught up in thinking on hurting them and seeing them in pain that’s why the bar fills up when you hit someone, it’s satisfied them for a little. when they are done they get toned down to finally just finish them off which is why they are stunned and trying to focus on just killing them in general, but also could explain why they fatigue after hitting someone you already stabbed before, it’d not satisfying when they are already hurt. But that’s my take on it

Yea, I think The Entity brought The Legion in and the see it as freedom since the Entity lets them do what the enjoy most, killing people without repercussions.
Most of these powers, they either got stuff or they are trained, actual powers is different Because honestly Trapper's power is just picking up bear traps, you don't need a special power to do so, you just need enough strength to carry two bear traps, set them and walk away

The entity has apparently altered or messed with the spirit and trappers heads. I feel like while it is not mind control its akin to the old angel demon sitting on their shoulders... except its only the demon.
If strong enough such as myers or pyramidhead they can outright ignire the entitys wants.

The Entity definitely defines most things within its realm. It makes people like members of the Legion or Trickster strong enough to render a wooden pallet to dust with a couple of swift kicks, the ability to casually sling a big dude like David onto their shoulder with little effort. It also clearly goes in the other direction by making the survivors weaker. David would kick the shit out of any Legion member in reality, for example.
I feel like those people trying to subvert the Entity aren't doing it by actively fighting The Entity, but instead, it's just unaware of them or doesn't consider them a threat.
I love how huntress apparently has super human speed yet is one of the slowest killers
They definitely all got a genral strength buff since one of the main things that happens in the saw movies is how they mention that Amanda cant set up traps on her own because she isn't strong enough to lift or carry a person. Meanwhile in dbd she just throws them over her shoulder and keeps walking like normal.
In the original Halloween movie, one can assume Myers has some sort of immunity to pain, or minimum some sort of superhuman regeneration, because even in that movie dr Loomis shoots him over 7 times and he is still alive and in fact is seen to need a few moments to strike again after being severely wounded. It seems to me more in keeping with Myers than saying "a cult did it".

He probably had some form of emotional shutoff that occured whenever "the evil" took control of him. It seems like he had an episode, and ceased to have any emotional response, including pain.

Well, fun fact about the Blight, the blight serum comes from the Entity herself, yes the Entity is female, she’s been referred by the devs as female a couple times in some interviews. But anyways, the blighted canker plants(I believe that’s what they are called) come from the Entity. As a yearly “infection” that she gets. Which is similar to a chronic infection that real plants get. The Entity seems to also be based off of a plant due to the blight infection and something in Benedicts Journal which states that her biology is similar to that of a plant. But yeah, The Blight’s (Talbot Grimes) power is almost entirely from the Entity.
Since we refer to nature as mother, I used to call Entity 'she' too. Glad to know.
Entity has no gender. In French, each noun is either masculine or feminen. It has nothing to do with actual gender.
Saying Entity is female because of that is like saying doors in Germans see doors as females.
They only refer to her as "she" due to them being french and the translation being to a feminine word. As far as I'm aware, the entity is still "it"
I like that with Wraith, the bell was given to let others know of danger coming. Now he rings it to the survivors because he is the danger coming.
I feel like the entity has to beef up everyone, including the survivors. No human can run forever, or keep going after having a hole torn in their shoulder multiple times

Maybe you can make a theory video as to why there are certain Killers to possess Hex perks, when in reality it was the Hag that apparently controls them, at least lore-wise. Cause I don't think killers such as Pinhead, Deathslinger or Trickster ever knew what Hexes or their perks are until they entered the reail of the Entity, since only Hag has control and knowledge about them.

@@posiettv well, the hexes WERE used by Lisa before she became the Hag. Besides, she didn't even know who the Entity was back then and bluffed all of her grandma's warnings about hexes.
I’d guess that the killers can all physically interact with each other and since they’re superhuman monsters, they can’t exactly kill each other, so maybe they share their knowledge of killing with each other.

I always love the thought that the executioner was brought into the entity’s realm out of the entity’s own need for judgement. Pyramid head robbing the entity of sacrifices with final judgement leaves the entity on a empty stomach and pyramid head impaling his knife into the entity’s skin in a sense is to physically hurt the entity.

The GhostFace’s lore and power origins are so underrated. The Entity was able to amplify Danny’s exceptional sense of intuition and reap from this a superhuman stealth and perception which allows him to get the drop on survivors in a way that almost no other killer can achieve. And this is further manifested by the floating ribbons on his outfit, which makes it clear that there’s more to this man than just a sharp mind, which he does indeed have.
GhostFace is by far one of the best licensed adaptations in the game. Honestly makes me glad that they bought the license for the mask and not the movie, cause that gave Behavior the ability to really brainstorm with this character and create something truly fantastic, a perfect blend of inspiration and originality. Say what you want about Behavior but they make some great characters.

i think the only thing the entity changed on legion was his ability to continue killing since they could stab multiple people on the real world and suffer a lot of fisical and emotional stress leading tho them being captured.
Or maybe the entity allow them to switch between the four after every frenzy so they could get the satisfaction of killing without the constant activities(but this theory is a big stretch)

I think Legion's power is explained by one of Blight's add-ons. One of the Add-ons is related to and even in the description has a line saying it comes from a user's swelled adrenal gland. We know Legion is one of the killers inflicted with the Blight, so it could be that when Talbot caught one of the members, he extracted some of their adrenaline.
It could be a decent explanation for their power, as well as their levels of fatigue since whenever you get a burst of adrenaline especially one as long and severe as the Legion, you typically feel exhausted or immensely tired afterward. The Entity giving them expanded adrenaline glands that are constantly refilling would make sense.

So many killers with wondrous, supernatural, or otherwise intricate powers...and then you have Trickster, who toyed with knives for attention. I really hope his upcoming tomb expands on his fall to madness. It's a shame his power doesn't seem to connect to Korean culture/folklore.

But Trickster is different, just like the Clown, madness and psychopath were slowly built until it comes off, wich is interesting. And in the real world, you would fear more a human killer than a monster from some movie or cartoon.
But i'm with you on it, they could have explored more about Korean culture.

i like to think that pyramid is just a partner to the entity.
the entity let's him to his thing of killing people who feel guilt, and in the process letting the entity do it's thing of eating emotions.
it seems that he's probably one of the few permanent killers in the realm
In Freddy vs. Jason, it is explained that everyone forgot about him, so he used Jason to make people remember him so that he could use his powers and kill people
One thing with legion that i don't remember seeing anyone mention and that can explain their power AND why only one of them appear at the same time : They all share the same body (or at least the same mind) after the entity took'em.
The idea came from two things :
1) When a killer is mutated *by* the entity, that means they were reluctant to do the job. Trapper got literally hooked, and for example Wraith is heavily mutated (and since he do feel guilty about unknowingly killing people or simply failing to protect others, I can't really imagine him willingly doing the entity's job). On the other side, some like Trickster, Clowns, or Deathslinger see absolutely no problem doing that, they're living their best life basically, and so are left untouched by the entity (only notable things will be the eyes, glowing for Trickster and Deathslinger, completely black for Clown) As for the Legion, they of course seem untouched. Makes sense for Frank, and Julie who'd do everything Frank do. But Susie does not want to harm people, like Joey. Thats why Frank muscled them into doing that, Julie even needed to intervene for Susie who's the only one who *haven't* stabbed in the end.
Thats where my 2nd argument come : The Chimeric horror skin. All of the Blighted skins seems to be boosted to 11 version of the killers AND their mutation (thats why Hillbilly isn't *that* mutated cause he wasn't at first, at all, like Huntress, and why Wraith seems to make even less sense and to be literally heartless) i think those skins are what happen when a Killer fails for the entity, or is, at least, something the entity do when it's interested in the Blight experiment.
And whats interesting : For the legion the serum seems to have "fused" them all. And if you're still with me, you remember that I'm trying to tell that they ALL share the same body and/or mind ! And also that it's the only cosmetics that includes multiple member of the legion...To be unique. Only Frank have this cosmetics. And knowing BHVR they *totally* could put blighted variant of all 4 of them. So I can't see it *not* being on purpose ! And thats where I'm going, if like I say they share the same mind, that means when anyone other than Frank appear, he's litererally in their mind bossing them, HIS Frenzy and bloodlust are pushing the other more or less willingly ! And I think thats why they seem hurt when the Frenzy stops, when the frenzy activate, thats where Franks grasp is at it's strongest, when it fades, he's loosing it's grasp and is a hurtful process (dunno if you've ever been in a blind rage and ended being forced out of it in a way or another, like being too tired or hurt but uh...I can tell you it's not pleasant)
It's even noted in the skin that "Joey lost the control of *Frank* arm" and the one who *is* in control when you use this skin...Is a mutated Frank. And i also thinks thats why the additionnal arms seems to try to grab him, to stop him. I'm even gonna add to that it's said Joey tried to *free* himself from the Legion, he's absolutely not willing to be here !

So basically we now know that Myers powers come from the fact he is just pure evil. Every kill makes him more powerful and helps him ascend to his pure form
The trappers spikes are a punishment for disobeying the entity, in a mobile cutscene he can be seen fighting the entity’s claws.
This is more like "What powers did the entity give each killer" and not how they got it

Amanda has to have been given more strength because she almost lost a fight with a weapon against a guy who has just cauterized his leg that he sawed off and does not have a weapon.
I think the legion acts from the adrenaline, rage and lust for blood in the game. For instance you get so caught up in thinking on hurting them and seeing them in pain that’s why the bar fills up when you hit someone, it’s satisfied them for a little. when they are done they get toned down to finally just finish them off which is why they are stunned and trying to focus on just killing them in general, but also could explain why they fatigue after hitting someone you already stabbed before, it’d not satisfying when they are already hurt. But that’s my take on it

Most of these powers, they either got stuff or they are trained, actual powers is different
Because honestly Trapper's power is just picking up bear traps, you don't need a special power to do so, you just need enough strength to carry two bear traps, set them and walk away
