“I think I’m realizing I may have been wrong about you for almost your entire life…but you forgive me, right?”
The absolute *_gall_* of that woman. 🤬

Story 1: OP is such a total doormat. Do not forgive any of them. Disgusting. They let this abuse happen, and that stepsister got away with her horrible behavior for years. Keep your daughters away from that family.

Last story: Forget the flip phone. Just cancel the phone. Stop her allowance. Time to crack down on her. Also make it Clear to Miss Thang, if she pulls 1 more stupid stunt that threatens your job. She WILL be handed over to the state and the foster care system.

10:15 made me spit out my coffee. If I was in their situation, I'd laugh and say no.

    23:30 she was “really sorry.”
She’s really sorry alright: because she lost her phone.

Plus he's completely desperate. Not sure about OP's wife either. After hearing all of the abuse/neglect OP went through. She allows those people around her kids. Why would OP want to expose his kids to those people.

So guy should have just been fully honest about his childhood and how his mother never loved, cared for or about them, always embraced his mistreatment and fully supported their abusive schizophrenic step brats insane accusations. Just ghost them and should have been done decades ago.
Point out to dim wit uncle he isnt posable to be dumb enough to mistake insane step rat wasnt lieing as nothing comes from or supported by his daughters.

Story 2... I'm sorry but I really hope that people know that this is absolutely not normal behavior, especially from somebody in Middle school! She already has a phone addiction, which is just sad... and it's not normal at ALL to wish dea+h upon your family, especially your family members that treat you so well and go above and beyond when they don't have to do ANY of it.
This new generation of children is the most disrespectful , entitled, ungrateful, selfish, prideful, know-it-all, p3rv3rse, and crude generation ever. My goodness, can you imagine someone that age in the 1920s flipping someone in their family off, calling them a s3xual pr3dator, or shouting / screaming and demeaning their family members?- things that are unfortunately very very common for preteens and teens to do today. Absolutely not!. Harsh Behavior calls for Harsh consequences, and you do not recoil and make yourself easy to walk all over or feel sorry for the person when they are finally getting what they deserve!. People need to stop being so easy to walk all over just because it is easier to be a friend instead of a parent / Guardian that sets rules and expects to be obeyed and respected.
These children don't run the house- stop letting them.

It's completely normal now for middle schoolers to be phone addicts. It's also a fucking terrible thing. I will not buy my own daughter a phone.
