We are back again with breaking down how to use our Tropical Oasis Hair Gel. This technique applies to ALL hair textures, lengths and porosities too! ‼️
Starting on freshly shampooed and conditioned hair, make sure your hair is saturated with water to get the best results.
In this video, we are showing you exactly how to use your Miche Mist Spray Bottle to saturate your hair with water prior to applying the product. Water is essential to help spread the product, provide hydration and help eliminate a hard crunch with your hair too.

Thank you! Yes, our Tropical Oasis gel is non-flaking and does not leave a residue. It’s also plant based and free from alcohols and silicones 😉 Have you tried it yet?
Flaking and residue usually happens with products that don't mix well together (i.e ecostyle and almost everything back in the day lmao) Going forward you can do a mixing test in your hand before applying to your hair. As long as its clear in your hands it wont leave residue, flake, etc & that tip works for any product 🫶🏾

Another influencer mentions she applies her gel in the shower on drenched hair. I tried it and it was a game changer. I use less products and curls stay juiced and no crunch when they dry. So I know this method works.

Yes, doing it her way will have you sitting there forever.. Shampoo, condition, don’t rinse out all the conditioner, apply what ever gel ur using , part small sections to smooth and set curls.. flip head over scrunch hair, use a hair towel.. flip hair back over to set in place, defuse..
Yes! That’s the best way to do your wash and go- in the shower! We only did it like this for demo purposes.

Hold on-how do you do it in the shower and not get any frizz by using a towel afterwards…also, how do you do a part or hairstyle if that’s how you apply it . I’m so lost lol
As somebody with curly hair, I will testify that the more wet your hair is when you put the product in the better! You want it soaking wet, put the product in, and don't touch it! If I have somewhere that I need to be and I can't go with soaking wet hair, I use a blow dryer on cold with a diffuser. And I always dry going from root to end. You don't want to blow opposite the direction of the hair, that's just going to encourage frizzies!

@@Michebeauty My pleasure! I wish I had had someone to help me with my hair when I was growing up. My mother had very straight hair and my hair is very kinky curly because my dad is black. My mom had no idea what to do with it. I fought it for years and years and years. And it wasn't until I was in my adult years that I said I was just going to let it do what it wanted. And that was the best thing!

just wanted to add you don't have to be afraid of heat when you use a diffuser or hooded dryer! esp if you use some type of styling foam before your gel 😊 makes it go quicker, and with less shivering, imo

It has less to do with the texture and more to do with your hair porosity and density. We also haven’t seen the end results? My hair is a similar texture to hers, but butters and creams do more for me than a gel because of porosity.

My hair is colored treated as well. I am afraid to do wash n gos because I'm afraid it wouldn't be as moisturizing as my hair needs.
My Hair can't do that either, most people with low porosity hair is going to struggle with this because the water just sit on top of your hair. You can accomplish this if you plan ahead however, you need to use a deep moisturizing conditioner the day before, twist or braid your hair over night, then try her tip the next day. you'll get good definition, it won't look like hers but it will look good. specially if you have really good moisturizing gel.
I think consistency of the gel can be a factor for how wet your hair should be. I use the Ouidad gel and I find that I can get away with not soaking my hair with water since it’s a liquidy gel.

I get the best definition when I use the shampoo brush and brush the gel through. Fingers alone aren’t enough to fully coat the product in the hair. My most frizz free is using a hard hold gel and shampoo brush. Lots of water based leave in ( apogee vitamin leave in) for detangling

If you left your hair how it is on the side thats not defined ppl would swear up and down you are “4c” its always good to see hair in its hydrated state bc the curl pattern when hydrated shows the true “hair type”
She does have 4c hair it's just long. I have 4c hair and my hair looks like that when it's wet unless it's already in it's shrinkage stage.
It it's already stretched out like hers then it's gonna look that way and ain't nothing wrong with 4c hair.

Yes I ONLY do my hair soaking dripping wet 👏🏽👏🏽 Best tip I learned years ago and I tell everyone if your curls aren’t giving what you want, spay more water BEFORE you add anymore product. I have 4 girls we all have different texture and this works on ALL hair types ❤️ Our hair LOVES water.

Are your products protein-free? My hair gets overloaded easily. I have low porosity hair. I noticed liquid products work best, but the moisture doesn’t last long.
With the exception of our Boost Hydrating Spray and Strengthen Deep Conditioner, all of our products are protein free. ☺️🖤

Our hair looks similar, I LOVE kinky, coily, curly hair. Can I say that I tried doing a wash and go on soaking wet hair. Product evaporates quickly on my hair soaking wet. I can't achieve a gel cast and hold when my hair is wet wet. For me, just speaking for myself working on damp hair gives me better results.❤

Sorry to sound like a broken record, but like others have commented, I have 4C hair too. It gets dried out so quickly. AND on top of that, it's colored treated like yours. I feel like I would have to do this wash n go at least every 2 days so that my hair doesn't dry out even more.
We understand! You can always pair it with our Lavish leave-in styler for additional moisture. Also, make sure to use a lot of water when styling and use a clarifying shampoo like our Detox shampoo. These tips should help you get extra days from your wash and go.

Omg, the curls and the skin are amazing❤. I'm not sure how I got here because I have locs, but I like to spray my micro locs with the continuous spray bottle before I leave for work every day. As it gets longer, it loves the moisture, especially the ends.

So, in what instances are you using leave in conditioner, cream, and/or oil? Your mousse can be used by itself and you use the oasis gel by itself as well.
You can use a leave in conditioner, cream or oil when you want your hair to more soft and fluffy 🖤

I would never soak my hair and add product like this . I use too! I have low porosity hair and if I soaked my hair like this , the product would sit on top of my head because my strands are so compact . I put products on damp hair. Wash N Gos last 1 week . Ladies my advice : Learn your hair and choose products accordingly. I love these products by the way!

I don’t use heat on my hair 😅 so nope I’m not having my hair dripping wet of water and gel 🥴 til it air drys .. I wash it put my micro fiber towel on my head to soak up some of the water add my hair drops to my scalp and my gel! out the door I go ❤❤❤ my hair hair keeps shine no frizz for 7days .. I wash my hair every 7days… but everyone does what works for them 🙌🏽

There's no need for a leave in conditioner as its added in the formula already. Shampoo, conditioner, keep hair wet, work in small sections, keep saturating hair with water and start with small amount of product, sit under a hooded dryer to finish. 🍍☺️

How do you detangle your wash and gos? I keep hearing that wash n gos cause breakage and single strand knots and that twist outs and braid outs on blow dried hair are better
Make sure your products are highly moisturizing! Use deep conditioner and detangle while hair is wet and saturated with product. ☺️🖤
