Hey I'm sick AND got work to do this week too, sledding season is coming to an end but I really shouldn't take off work and really should get some rest. But what I WANT to do is say f*** it and go snowmobiling. Just got a good 8 inches up north and it's killing me! I feel your pain Louie.

Put 10 miles on my trail sled this year in north eastern Wisconsin,. Went down the trail 1 time and trails were dirt/snirt turned around and went back home and haven't started it since. Trails all year and now pretty much mud, rocks and ice and it was almost comical watching people wreck their sleds all season riding in dirt!! Time to summerize and work on the classic cars!
You need some titanium parts Louis, time for a service and rebuild :) Watching your videos have become rather expensive too.. Just sold the 2016 RMK Pro 800 that I bought last summer and almost got my money back, managed to put 400km on it this season as a snowmobile noobie and survive. Going to get a more all round machine like a Lynx Commander or 49 Ranger Pro with the 600R engine, the 600R engine is a beast at 125hp and really fuel efficient at 1,2-1,5L/10km. Been really skeptical of snowmobiles as my knees are in really bad shape with bad joints and a ACL damage to one knee but riding the RMK pretty hard was no problem so now I have that bug as well as the ATV bug. You also got me to get the exact same model of Can Am Outlander XMR 1000 as you had and fixing its shortcomings is an ongoing project :)
Careful with the back brother. Hurt mine moving a patient to the cot on the ambulance and it forced me to retire at 37 years old. I wish I could still be on the job but now I have plenty of free time for everything else. Lol.
PRP Platelet Rich Plasma. Look it up. It will cause your body to rebuild the ligaments in your back. I had it done over ten years ago, at 45. It fixed 25 years of snowmobile back.
It fools your body into thinking it has been bruised. I thought I was going to have to sell my business and give up my fun. That was in November. The next summer I raced a couple of enduros and triathlons! Stay positive! God Bless
I've got both and love both. Newer is tons of fun in the pow but idk, can't pass up a good deal on an old sled! So handy for working in the bush or going to camp or icefishing.
Yep winter is so Beautiful in Canada and I've seen it all around the clock with the 24 hour shift work 2 drivers forestry work l did for years in the Peace country named after the huge Peace River river. And winter is The Artist of all artists proven by the fact every Snowflake has its own design pattern can you believe that I love cradling a Snowflake big or small and looking at its pattern before it melts in my hand or glove or hopefully soon to be from Louie hand made Beaver mittens. Take care of your back please we need you around for some time yet & try maybe wearing full time a Back support belt to lessen the strain on the back area.
