Wish I could have been there. Thanks for filming this. Another retro event I can't get to because of my job. Can't get to Zzap in August because it's high holiday season, and can't get to Crash in November because it's Christmas pressure season. Managed to get to Crash last year because I was lucky it fell on my rotating day off, (sat next to you in the Speccy Next talk.) Lovely, smooth footage again .. gotta love that DJI pocket. I've bought one since seeing yours in action. 😁👍
I remember, Steve. It was a real pleasure to meet you! This was a great event. Tons of unusual systems that I’ve never seen before and a fantastic Vectrex area. Yes, that DJI is a fantastic little camera isn’t it? Glad you managed to get one! It’s a real shame you can’t make the others events. I’m hoping to go so, if I’m able, I’ll record them again so you can live them vicariously through me!😎🕹️👍🏻
@@SpectrumNez It is great to see what I'm missing in video form, but can't shake that 'ache' of missing out on the experience of being there. I picked up the Pocket 2, (3 was a bit overpriced for comfort.) Quite hard to get hold of, but there was a white one available, still new, with the kit I was after, so I went for that. I managed to get tickets for the London Gaming Market on June 30th. Probably mostly buying and selling but still a retro event. It's on a Sunday and I don't work Sundays (despite my employers' efforts to change my permanent contract - good old union! ✊) I'll be there with my step-son. He's a 90s kid but loves the 70s and 80s stuff.
Great to see the Next well represented and some good arcade machines!
Yeah, the Next had a real good showing off! 💪 Lots of people stopping by there too with high interest!
@@SpectrumNez I'm not surprised, it's a very impressive looking speccy and Head Over Heels/TX-1696 really show off it's capabilities!
AMAZING event!!!! Greetings from a Speccy lover from Brazil 😊
Howdy! Yes, it was a fabulous event! The amount of different systems there was incredible and the Sinclair C5 experience was the cherry on the cake! 😎

@RetroSpectives You took the right decision. The Pocket 3 screen is nice, but too big in my opinion. Much less discrete than the Pocket 2.

Spot on exactly what I thought.
