Only thing I wouldn't use it the hot glue, except a dot here and there to hold the piece while glue is drying. Hot glue tends to dry and pull away from the cardboard. I've many a lot of pieces, and this is what I've discovered over the years. Great ideas you have there. Thanks for sharing with us.

I made the first one in college, I needed to put stuff away but couldn't find any, the hostel's cafeteria had many boxes net to the trash so I took like 5 or 6 and bought sticker paper from the art store, I spent a whole day making it, it lasted for 3 years, until I threw it away after I finished college.

It really is as easy as it looks to make. I've done things like this. It just takes time and patience (waiting for glue/paint to dry, etc.)
