I live in America. You wouldn't find an abandoned home in this great of condition. It's incredibly commendable that people in your country are so respectful of others property. Another awesome video! Thanks for posting. 😊

Why stop at 85? May you'll be happy and healthy till 105 or longer! I'm 52 & still have one grandparent alive. She's 97! I also recently learned that a dear neighbor of mine from 34 years ago is still alive and kicking. She is 109!!! I tried to look up where she was buried because I was passing through where I used to live while on a business trip and, assuming she had long since passed away, wanted to place flowers at her grave. Imagine my surprise. Sadly, my schedule didn't allow me to stop and visit, but I'll be in the area again in late June or early July and you can bet your bippy that I'm going to make time to visit during that trip. Wild horses couldn't keep me away!
Sorry for the trip down Memory Lane, but I hope that you live well past 85 and enjoy every waking moment along the way!!

I live in upstate New York and a place like that wouldn't last five month's left abandoned without being pillaged and robbed of its valuables. It's sad the lack of respect in the United States for other peoples property! It's because the children are not being brought up to be accountable for their actions anymore. I am from the United States and the comment you made is absolutely true. It would be very, very rare if an abandon house was left in that pristine shape. After people loot what is most valuable they would then take the wiring or plumbing fixtures because if it is made of copper or aluminum piping they can sell it for money. It is sad people can't just leave them as they are. Thank you for uploading these videos!! I love to look at the old buildings and houses and see what the people left behind!! Have a great day!!

Oh my gosh I loved every ,single moment of this video. This home,so cute,so quaint. With all those animals there must have been a lot of hard work, too.Did you notice as you entered, all of the empty egg cartons on the counter of the porch? They must have really made their living off of the land.Well, that and from ice cream.Just imagine their ice cream made with cream that fresh! You know what got to me the most and gave me chills? Is when you said that you could smell her on the clothes.I probably repeat myself but great work once again!

You're right in saying if that house was in America it would be destroyed and burgled by vandals and thieves. People have so little respect here...particularly the younger generation. In some cases, they might even burn it down just to be vindictive. It makes me ashamed to share this country with them or even to call them an American.
Where I live which is about 60% Hispanics in our community you never hear or see anything happening... houses sit empty and no one bothers them. When we were primarily whites breaking and entering was a huge problem... vandalism was a problem. And the little children would stand out in the street cursing up a storm with no discipline. Where in the world did we go so wrong I wonder? These people are getting crazier by the minute in some areas.
Loved the video btw... her home was so well kept it almost seemed as if she had just stepped out for a moment it was so clean and organised.
I had wondered if you were brothers for a while but I assumed you were because you do have many facial features that are alike. But I assumed that you were the elder Leslie because Jordi is so much more reserved than you are.

I spent five years living in Germany. I was always amazed at how the locals had respect for others property. Back in 1995, you could leave the keys in your car and it would still be there in the morning. The question is WHY? Are the laws more strict? Is the punishment harder for lesser offenses? Are the jails not as nice as the ones in the states? Perhaps its a small town mentality. Whatever it is, can you bottle it up and send some to the US?
Great explore, nice tour of an old farm.

Thank you, Jody & Leslie! I am always so impressed with how respectful you are towards the properties you film and share. You maintain a kind, gentle demeanor towards the previous owner and their belongings, as well as an appreciation for the opportunity to capture it all for prosperity.
I am also from America and just as another commenter (Melissa Boggs) stated, it's very sad how 'visitors' to an abandoned place in the USA prefer to destroy the entire structure and steal objects.
Looking forward to your next project 😊!

I agree with Melissa. We North Americans seem uttterly fascinated with Europe--for some of us, our ancestry seems to be so far away as to be ancient history. We have to remember that in the past Europe & Britain were turbulent places where violence and war-fare were once a way of life. It took hundreds of years for Europeans to learn how to be civilized peoples. This shows nowadays in people with such wonderful manners & a sense of civilization and culture which we North Americans seem to be often lacking at times :( This respect of all things often shows up in the places which these guys explore. Such gentleness, sensitivitiy and respect for all the things around them. :)

Just have to say, the video quality is impressive, it's great the way you show close-ups, like we are right there looking at things. I adore old buildings, this is the next best thing to being there, :) be safe and have fun.

fell in love with it before you two went in,,Thank You both, wonder if they sell them, shame the home should be respected by a family in the future, a lot work but well worth it..and a place for her and her personal thing should have a space set aside to pass down her family's history..

It makes me sad to see the downstairs bedroom that the old "Grandma" lived in, with diapers and other needs in the bedside table. But it is fortunate that she could stay in her home at least and not in a "nursing home" as we call it in the USA. This was a lovely little farm house, and on the upside shows evidence of a productive Farm life, and sort of compound built around living, farm, and work/income all in a fairly close area. The barn and hay was right next to the house as you can see in the attic shots where you can see hay bales through the hole in the attic wall. This is all very foreign as far as what I am familiar with, and interesting to see. Thank you!

Thanks boys for yet another terrific video. Lovely wood furniture. Out of curiosity do you know if the government sells these types of properties if someone wishes to buy them? I would loved to see some of them restored and habitable.

Thank you for posting. Another great video. In America, it is also hard to keep vandals or thieves out of your home while you live there. Have to have alarm systems and camera systems and still have break-ins and thievery. So many people who don't respect others at all here. It is so wonderful to know good people are still in the world. Very refreshing. You guys are great. ❤️

This is why i LOVE seeing videos, that you guys do. I don't know if this was far out of a city area or not but, the fact that everything is so well preserved is phenomenal. I've seen others you have done and they are preserved as well. In the USA, i'm so very sad to say that, this house would have been stripped of everything nice, just stolen. I must say i hate to see such good woodwork and beautiful workmanship go to waste; like those beautiful cabinets and her lovely bed, that gold necklace would be on someone else or sold.
But even in death she still has her home to be in. Thanx guys as usual!! Love ya'll
