Chuck, your videos have been a huge help to me in my IT journey. Much like yourself I realized early on my interests lied in the security region. Coming back to this video a year or so later I can say that this honestly probably saved me from giving up my paypal credentials to a well executed text phishing scheme not long ago. I have gotten several phishing attempts after changing phone numbers recently. the threat is REAL.

Glad I found this video lol, it might explain all of the emails I've been getting from gmail accounts with subject lines like "Important! Account details expiring soon!" for services I have never had an account with. Some people might not realise that it's still possible to see the 'from' address before you open the email. In any case this is why it's always recommended to use a unique, randomly generated password with 2 factor auth for everything. The spam filter at my workplace quarantines attachments containing links, and also things like spreadsheets containing macros. The IT dept has to allow them through and can check info about the sender. You've probably also done videos about email security, but too many people don't know anything about email security protocols and how their messages are actually delivered.

Put in an error for incorrect password.

I think this video tutorial is an eye opener to how vulnerable we all can be and how little most people know when it comes security from fraud in data transactions.
I think many have tried to replicate this phishing attack but Google has defaulted settings that prevents the less secure apps/programs from doing what’s involved through Google. The program will work and the link will work to extract information from a target but unless the security is manually turned off by the recipient for the less secure apps the email will never be never be received. I’m sure there are other ways to do this but to learn that a deeper understanding of the program used and Linux is needed. At that point you won’t need these tools. Just my opinion and thoughts on it. Good work on the video.

i dont personaly spearfish but iv learned about it out of boredom. theres 2 types of spear fishing. one being were the user throws the spear with their bare hands ((think for less tech advanced civilizations or people stranded)) or use some sort of "spear gun" which can be powered with stuff like gas or a streatchy matirial that returns quickly to its normal shape and langth after being streatched.

This is upsetting and actually gives me a panic attack watching because no matter how hard I try I can not get away from someone hacking into my life and ruining me
aspect it. had this flordian in my pc for 2 years now, i look up a bunch of weird shit so much he got very scared, stoped the bitcoin miner, he even made my social security stop poping up on screen. posted his ass on antihatecrim forums. instead of my social security, now there is pleads of forgiveness popping up, no forgivness from me, im gonna keep on looking up weird shit to keep him away for GOOD. method: 6/10, not too recommendable
