Absolutely not, the 2 golden elizas only give +4 health per attack. The units would only need to have 3 attack to outscale the Elizas. The fungus only sped up the win, he would've won even without it
@Coldedboi yes, but they give stats to the entire board, that's 6×7×2×2 = 168 health per "round" of combat. That's enough to sustain 12-damage board (if no your units have Taunt)
@@PeterZaitcev We actually talked about this on stream. The issue is that his units just don't die, so he has a VERY long time to just hit into the Elizas. So it's likely an Eliza will die at some point.
It's not about scallywags, but the fact that every attack he does he gain +12/+4, effectively heal his minions and potentially making the fight last until he kills the 2/2billion, unfortunately that's not possible due to having other minions with like 9/2billion, effectively doing more damage than what he can heal
Now imagine if murlocs were in this particular round: all of those stats get completely washed by some nitwit who lucked into a double Morgl off Pagle and a couple other poisonous murlocs. Infinite attack minions are definitely a wonderful thing that have never once been a problem.
The hilarious thing is that if he didn't have that one high attack minion the pirates might have just about managed to keep themselves alive with the Eliza buffs across multiple minions. If they only deal 9 damage then the +4 health on 3 minions would be enough to outheal the damage so long as it didn't focus on any single minion
Btw, no, doubling attack without hitting the health max would be worse (unless we are dealing with poison or similar). The reason is, that there are flat buffs (like the 1/1 taunt one). Increasing your damage by 1 when having 1 damage is a 100% [attack * health] increase. Increasing your damage on higher attack minions gives less overall stats.
