Not going to lie it looks like so much fun but I truly feel that things like the arcade, bowling, golf etc should all be included with your hotel stay.
I agree to a point. If everything was free it would be crazy crowded. But for the level that’s there it should be wayyyy cheaper. Like $1-$2/person for golf/bowling.
If they did then the price would just be the price of the combined packages. This way people who don’t want to do all that stuff have that option. This is more freedom for customers not less.
I really appreciated this video. It was very informative. We are going for the first time this next weekend for our son's birthday and staying 2 nights. I kind of feel like 2 nights may be a lot after watching this video but thankfully we can always go rest and then go back for more. Our son is autistic and a thrill seeker. He's been watching the water slide videos for a while now. I think he's going to be thrilled! Thanks again for the video!
It’s a really enjoyable place to go for the water park. The rest of the activities? Not so much. But the water park makes it more than worth it. I think you’ll have a blast.

Good video Trevor me and family used to go to great wolf lodge near us in grapevine tx but it was so expensive but it was fun but then we found kalahari resorts in round rock tx and it is bigger better and way more fun so we go there now if you guys have a kalahari near you guys I suggest yall try it it is awesome and has way more to offer than great wolf lodge but I always enjoy your videos my friend keep them coming and much love to you guys from my family to yours in Texas

I liked the the den in the room where the kids slept. It's cute. And funny thing you mention the refrigerator not being that cold. When I went to Memphis I bought fruit that is already put together but in the fridge and it froze my fruit. I will go one of these yrs. Probably the one in WA. That's the closest to me. You know I love water parks.
When we were on our road trip, the fridges weren’t cold enough to keep meat and it spoiled and James got sick.
Ever since, I check the fridge temps. And they never even feel like they’re on when I open them.
@@SoCalDisneyDad thats scary that James got sick. I don't blame you for checking. Hotels need to work on that. They got the money. Things you don't think about until it happens.
Always check what the fridge is set to, alcohol drinkers will set it to the coldest setting and sometimes housekeeping forgets to check and turn it all the way back to practically warm.
for food we only had breakfast there and pizza late night on our 2 night stay. I really enjoyed Breakfast and the omelet bar.
The breakfast buffet looked far busier than the dinner one. I assume it’s because the water park isn’t open yet at that hour. And people don’t want to use up water park time on a buffet? 🤷🏻♂️

This is the first video we watched because we'll be staying at this property in May. Thanks for doing the video! It was nice being able to see where to come in, the food options, knowing how long the Dunkin Donuts line is in the morning. We've been watching some of your other videos to help get our kids ready for other stops on our trips!
Do you do any of the National Parks? We were trying to decide if we wanted to do Joshua Tree or Channel Islands or another one but just don't know what would be best for our toddlers.
We have been to several but don’t film them. I’ve heard it’s illegal to post videos in National Parks if your channel is monetized.
Maybe I’m misunderstanding and it’s just the video that can’t be monetized.
I know there are plenty of videos out there in National parks, but I feel like this was a recent-ish change.
And I really don’t want to chance any sort of penalties, so I just haven’t bothered with videoing them.
But we’ve been to Sequoia, Cabrillo, Bryce, and Zion.
Would like to do a Yosemite trip at some point.

I’ve always loved theme parks and water parks. I didn’t get to go as often as a kid, but I love that I can take my kids someplace nearly every weekend because of where we live.

Great wolf makes Disney seem cheap. The arcade is criminally expensive 😂 but so fun
Completely agree! Legoland Hotel has an arcade and it’s like 50c a game. So much better!
I’m so sad that they removed the candy shop! It’s now a grab and go shop like small snacks, etc.

I definitely would try to stay there if I didn’t use Getaway Today. I’m staying at Park Place mini suites when I go. So at least I still get free breakfast 😂
This was such a great place! We’d love to go back sometime.
Park Place is definitely a lot closer. This is a 10 minute drive south from Disneyland, but for folks looking for more of a “resort” feel with some fun amenities this is a fantastic hotel.
Something to consider for the future!
Would you recommend doing any of the extra activities or just wait out in the hotel before the waterpark opens?
We usually just get breakfast and relax before it opens. I'm not sure the extra activities are even going before the water park is open anyway (it's been awhile since we've gone).
Honestly, though, the activities aren't really that great.

great and useful video... if you have the wristband you will be able to go outside of the park and get in without any issue?
Yes, no problem. You have access to the water park after a certain time on check-in day and until the water park closes on check out day so long as you are wearing the wristband.

Did the water have to much chlorine? Sting your eyes? Did you ever feel cooled down in the humid water park?
I don’t recall any discomfort the whole time we were there. We had a great time.

He was around 4 or 5 years old.

Yes I always do with my family, can also bring it into the waterpark. You will commonly see families using the microwaves in the ice machine/snack machine areas to make quick lunches like cup noodles or hot dogs to save money as the food is very overpriced at the resort. Many also have restaurants that deliver to lobby nearby for much cheaper than the resort prices.
What time is the check in I can’t find the inf online
Is there anything to do around the lodge? Would 5-6 nights be too long? Travelling from Australia and we will be hiring a car
5 nights does sound like a lot. A single night was more than enough for us. You might do 2 nights. If you're just looking to have Great Wolf be your hotel and doing other things in the area. Disneyland is 10 minutes up the road, and Knott's Berry Farm another 10 minutes beyond that.
Then staying 5 nights would be reasonable. But I would think you'd be bored of Great Wolf after such a duration if you didn't venture beyond the hotel.
How fun, but it looks a bit expensive! Have you ever reviewed Adventure City in Anaheim?

It’s your ticket into the water park. Once you are in, though, it’s not needed. So technically they don’t need to wear it. But don’t lose it either.

Into the water park? I don’t think so. There wouldn’t really be a need for that. They have lockers if you need to store stuff.

Hello thank you for the review - however DO NOT BUY THE NACHOS they are $19.99 and the cheese is NOT TASTY AT ALL. Definitely not worth it it the cheese don’t even taste like cheese because of how watered down it is. Save your money

You’ll have to check their website. Rates differ by day of the week, season, and room type.

This is actually located in Garden Grove, not Anaheim.
If you’re going to be technical, you are correct. The address is in Garden Grove. But Great Wolf lists this location as Anaheim, CA on their website under lodge locations. So I’m not wrong. And this is nitpicking.
