How can anyone not love Shane he's lush. Lush singer lush looking lush accent
I ask myself the same. I just can't understand it.
Shane is perfect.
According to Shane's book, he had a hangover the first time the band sang for Simon and Shane was not up to his usual brilliance. So Simon hated him. Louis had Shane dye his hair and, when next the band performed for Simon, Simon was delighted with them all, especially Shane. Never stay out late the night before you audition.......so glad they worked it out. Can't imagine Westlife without Shane.
Shane's voice and voice are very nice and beautiful. Love Shane from Vietnam

😂😂😂Simon has always been Simon. And they paid him big bucks for being himself in the tv business.
Simon nearly made the biggest error of his career by rejecting Shane. I still can't believe he did. He normally is on point with talent. Who would reject Shane's voice? Shane is the backbone of Westlife. Westlife wouldn't have worked without Shane.
Thanks to Louis who spotted that talent fron the onset.
And we must be extremely grateful to Luis who had a spectacular idea in the decisive moment to keep us and Westlife with the best talent in the world and that is the perfect leader Shane filan👍👏

Simon hated Shane because Shane sang terribly when they met for the first time, Shane was having a hangover and couldn't sing properly like he uses to so Simon didn't like him and wanted Louis to get rid of him. Louis, however, wanted to keep Shane in the band so he told Shane to dye his hair blonde and came back a few months later and sing for Simon again, Simon liked him and finally accepted him and he stayed in the band.

@@thewestlifevault I've watched the documentary an this wasn't on there I think I've watched the wrong one how can I watch this one?
From what I gather from the IMDB page, there was an ITV2 version titled "Below the Belt" that had additional scenes and this must be from there. It's been so many years, however, that I don't know if the full show is available anywhere... I only ever saved this bit.
