  • In this Part 2 of Abandoned Correctional Hospital video, I explore a rehabilitation center. The facility was built in 1927 as Children's Building to treat children with Tuberculosis. Due to advancement in curing Tuberculosis and the increasingly low incidence of TB patients, the facility was transferred to Department of Corrections in 1983 and became a rehabilitation center. In 2010, the facility was closed as part of a statewide budget cut. Since then, the building has been sitting vacant.
