If you know what to farm, and how to do it efficiently, and know all the tips and tricks to turn all the different crops into their more profitable end products; FARMING is BY FAR the most profitable long term skill, with constant passive profit.. there’s so many different ways to make money with farming, and it’s far more complex than just averaging out a couple methods.. I would love to go more in-depth with it and maybe make a guide, or have you make a guide over all of it. I got 1-99 farming in 28 days and profited 160-180m+.. I make Tuna Potatos with the sweetcorns I farm on my runs, you can make like 800gp a sweetcorn (200+ a run) makes my farm runs double profit with a nice little boost to xp. Also if you want to profit from crafting and or magic more than alching do a flip check on topaz braclets and amulets as well as the enchanted counterparts and the materials to make. You can for example make 800 and enchant 800 topaz bracelets an hour which at times is 700-1.1M profit an hour whilst getting 60k crafting and 45kish magic xp. Or you can enchant 1,800ish an hour braclelets or amulets for 400-1,000gp profit (topaz bracelets are all-over the place at the minute) which is 720k-1.8M gp at about 100k magic xp. 99 magic becomes about 140-200M+ this way it's mental why noobs still alch...because it's like only 6xp less a cast.

Cutting and making oak plants in the WC guild is pretty good for wc. Magic - enchanting topaz jewellery. XP/h - about 100k Profit/h - 1.1-2.2M (buy and sell prices on unenchanted jewellery can be anywhere from 6-1,200gp difference to enchanted) When farming grow sweetcorn, buy chopped tuna at like 60gp over the course of a week and buttered Potato's for like 270-300, every farm run is basically double profit and you get extra xp when making Tuna Potato's

You also forget about gp/xp. In the context of going 1-99, for players looking to max such as myself, the amount of gp you can generate within the 13m xp limit is important.
@@brendanturlington38 I guess it matters more in the context of deciding what is worth doing. Mahogany vs magics is 3 gp/xp vs 4 gp/xp. Though it is much slower to cut magics, it is also much more afk and makes more money by the time you max the skill. Similarly, for mining. Doing gem mining is very profitable, but very un-afk. Realistically maxing on gem mining is unviable. Compare that to the very slow rates at amethyst mining, but is extremely afk. Gemstones is worth about 10 gp/xp, where as amethyst is 15 gp/xp. In the context of the 13m xp that you have to max, amethyst is a very viable option. You make more money by the time you max, and it's a lot more afk-able, despite being half as slow. You can more easily quantify the value of afk-ness when you consider gp/xp. It is only really relevant if you're worried about avoiding post 99 xp, but it is worth considering.
@@11u510n15t so you would rather afk for 300 hours for 150m profit than do something active for 100 hours for 120m profit because 'it makes more money'? That literally makes no sense at all. In the 200 hours you save by doing the active method you can make like 600m more, completely disregarding the 'extra' 30m you make doing the 300h method.
@@brameijkr2d Yes, but I'm trying to avoid post 99 xp, because it begs the question of "why not just buy bond", and makes the "you can make minimum wage for 15m gp/hr in bonds" argument. Technically I could just camp vork with my max setup and make 3.5-4m gp/hr, but that's not the point. Idk why (probably because I'm thinking about skilling in general) but your video made me think of a skiller item money sink for the wilderness where you pour in say 1M and get an amulet that makes you glow red in the wilderness and has an affect of auto killing anyone within a scaled level that kills you while you're in the wildy but you don't get to see their drops should you run back, it would have the same time reset for other death drops. The "pretty petty Necklace" would define the term - dude come on I'm just trying to finish the diaries. Other affect is auto bank cash from low alch/ high alch value or additional items saved by tier of how much coin you put into it. Makes killing a skiller pointless, takes millions out (perks at 1, 5 ,10, etc Million) of the game, and gives you that feeling of smug satisfaction knowing they played themselves Edit: necklace doesn't get destroyed but is charged with coins and consumes say a 10% tax depositing and 25% withdrawal penalty if you want to umcharge it. Good item for iron men and maybe at like 10M if you die that death doesn't affect your hard-core status
When he says how long it takes to level up a skill, double it and that's how long it takes me

You only make it severely difficult to do grinds like agility, etc. when you force yourself to revolve around your best money making method.
How is farming not on this
Slayer?? Is that really not as profitable as some on this list?

No. What a stupid comment.
Makes killing a skiller pointless, takes millions out (perks at 1, 5 ,10, etc Million) of the game, and gives you that feeling of smug satisfaction knowing they played themselves
Edit: necklace doesn't get destroyed but is charged with coins and consumes say a 10% tax depositing and 25% withdrawal penalty if you want to umcharge it. Good item for iron men and maybe at like 10M if you die that death doesn't affect your hard-core status
nice maplestory music :)
Take a gem bag when mining gems if you have one.
