I would just like to say that the Unitarian Universalists are great people who say you can be an atheist and still go to our facility is an amazing thing. You can talk to the religious and non religious in a lengthy discussion of philosophy and no one will out right say you are wrong.
Great video, and it really shows the importance of speaking out against religious ignorance. A great example would the the current GOP front runner Rick Santorum. message completely shows how conservatives really want to send this country back into the dark ages. they are afraid of change, afraid of progression. facts are like kryptonite to religion. it really just reminds me of the crazy world i live in when there is a very large group of people who WANT to remain ignorant. I came out of the atheist closet in Grade 7. It was so damned obvious that Christianity was no different from any other mythology that I was studying. I could not believe that any intelligent adult believed the insanity of the bible.
