    Boy, are you guys right!! It's about determination! I joke with my family that "If it can be done, I can do it!".....I am a determined person. I love this lifestyle and I have sweated, frozen, endured pain, busted knuckles, and a lot of other things in order to get a job done, and it's well worth it to me. Netflix doesn't hold a candle to what's outside!
    God bless!

    Hey guys!! Thanks so much for addressing my question about raised beds!! I appreciate it. ❤
    As far as finding time. It’s my opinion you’ll find time for what you want to find time for. Working after work and in the dark. It’s just a sign of good work ethic. My husband has always said. We don’t put the job off. It’s just how we roll around here. I’ve seen him working after work, in the dark, in the rain and bad weather. He’s 67 and still working like that. Such a blessing to me. Again, thanks for this video.

    Feed corn stalks to your cows and horses lots of protein when I lived in Kansas the farmers would turn their cows out into the corn fields after harvest

  • @suegibson8914
    @suegibson8914 2 месяца назад

    I believe if you want to use corn stalks so they break down it’s a good idea to chop it into small pieces or use a chipper. You might also try running over it with your mower.

    Sweet idea, Andy! Last year, I used the bags that I bought my manure, soil, etc., to cover my raised bed and topped with pine needles, which I had plenty of. It worked great 👍🏼 like y’all said, “Use what you got”. Thank you for sharing and for sharing Proverbs 13:4. Y’all have a blessed weekend! I’m heading to deer camp this weekend, to see where the best places are for the doe’s, I decided not to shot last season, to be crossing ❤waiting for the big boys! 🎉

Thanks for sharing the link to those hose repair ends. Y’all have been blessed with a nice place. 👍🏻😇❤️🙏🏻🙌🏻👍🏻

    I have a cursed hose end. It has a perfectly good end, but the hose clamps from that freight company on the harbor keep letting go just when it's most inconvenient.
    That corn should work great as mulch. In Tucson, I cut off the leaflets of dried palm fronds just as an experiment on potato hills. It worked great, but for the scorpions that liked to hide in there to consume the crickets that loved to hang out in there.

    Great video y'all! Andy I was just thinking. Wrap the barb of that hose end in electrical tape then slide the hose on it. It sure can't hurt and may stop the leak. Great ideas for composting your beds and it's all stuff you have of can get inexpensively. Working by lights reminded me of a time when some friends and I actually sowed several hundred yards of plant beds by the truck lights. Y'all have a good evening!
