IN TFS, how to checkout files from the mapped folder along with source control?

  • @PedroMachadoPT

Is a changeset a snapshot of the code or just the differences to the previous version?

This might be a stupid question but how about if two developers change "MainWindow.xaml" at the same time and check in at same time. I am asking this because there was no check out before making changes to file.

Do we have a similar video for SQL server database objects checkin/checkout?

Thank you for the tut! I've heard, that many devs don't checkIn directly to master. They create their own master-branch checking into it?

What I would like to see is how to handle merging conflicts when another dev has pushed changes and you have a currently edited version of that file but you would like to merge those changes.

A microphone with a pop filter would be nice :) Those plosives are really jarring. Nice video, though!

      I learned a word Plosive,
Plosive: sound pronounced by stopping the air in the speech passage and suddenly releasing it.

Hello. I am reaching out to seek your advice on taking an excel worksheet with specific collected data in each cell to create a Maintenance incident in Visio studio team foundation 2015. We want to create random incident numbers assigned to each maintenance incident uploaded. We are looking to simplify out trouble ticketing process. So we created a spreadsheet with dropdowns and radio buttons that captures all of our client's issues. We then want to offer a send or input button on excel that will take this newly gathered info in excel and create an Maintenance incident FTS in Visio studio. That way our team can go to the newly created incidents and address the client's needs. Please let me know if you can help us to make this connection. Thank you in advance for your help....

"There is a back button that I can use to go back"
"There is files that I can do whatever I want to do with them"
Are you freaking kidding me??? You call that a tutorial? Absolute waste of time
