This is valuable information this I have read about but not seen.
Thank you for this one too GM.
It is fascinating how the ninja approach things in many facets
As far As I ching goes I think there is qigong too and a fighting system.

You've been doing this channel for 4 years and i've only recently discovered it. How is it possible i've missed it? You must be really good at your 'invisibility' practice ;-) Then again, maybe my inner eyesight's failing me, just not as tuned in any more.
Divination (of all sorts) - well, some may take readings for face value. Foolish? Wise? Who can really say. But readings certainly can be of practical value in that they can prompt viewing a situation from a different perspective, something that can be very useful if you're feeling stuck or unsure about how to move forward.
i learned to do I-Ching readings back in college from my gf at the time. She used the sticks, but not bamboo, she used yarrow stalks, a plant that grows in Europe and the US. Myself, i didn't have any official yarrow stalks and didn't know where to get them, so just used coins. There are instructions in the English translation of the I-Ching for both methods. The coin method was different from the one you used. For each line, you'd throw three coins. Heads would have a value of 2, tails a value of 3. You'd add up the heads and tails for each line. You could get a 6, 7, 8 or 9 this way, 2 even and 2 odd numbers. Even or odd was as you used the coins, be either a solid or broken line. But it got a little more complex. The 7 and 8 in the middle of them were considered stable, but the 6 and 9 were considered changing. If you got a 6 or a 9, you'd draw a second hexagram using the same lines that were unchanging from the first and the opposite of the changing lines from any 6 or 9. There's text for each line and you'd read the main body of both hexagrams and just the text for the changing lines in the first. The second hexagram was supposed to represent what the situation was changing toward.
My copy of the I-Ching has different text. What you read presents a beautiful image, love it! The copy i've got, the images are a bit colder. But also a little more specific. 9 - The taming power of the small. "This hexagram means 'the force of the small' - the power of the shadowy - that restrains, tames, impedes." Off hand, sounds like a ninja to me. A weak line in the 4th place, that of the minister, holds 5 strong lines in check. The image is slightly different from your reading. It is the wind blowing across the sky. There's no mention of the moon in my copy. The wind is sufficient to cause clouds to gather but rain will have to wait. It speaks of wind and clouds... The circumstances are that of a strong element being held in leash by a weaker element. "It is only through gentleness that this can have a successful outcome". To carry out our purpose here, we need firm determination within and gentleness and adaptability without.
The wind does not have a solid body, my book says 'so it does not produce great or lasting effects' but, myself, i've been known to argue with the oracle, might see things differently. In time, wind can indeed have a lasting and pretty spectacular impact on things, soft and gentle as it may be most of the time.
Reading this brought to mind a sub plot from the movie 'Schindler's List'. There's a manufacturer, Schindler, who's mostly interested in his business at the start, happy for the big profits WWII is bringing him. But he starts getting uneasy about what he sees happening with the Jews in his community at the hands of the Germans (and things get personal later when the Germans want to take his whole factory crew). There's one German officer in particular who likes killing people. He kills lots of people. Sometimes just on a whim. This gets to bothering Schindler but he can't rage at the officer or the guy would likely shoot him too and as a business man, he has to work with these people. So one day in a social get together with this German officer, Schindler tells him a story about a king who has one of his subjects presenting himself over some offense one day. The peasant is terrified, tells the king his story, fully expecting to be executed on the spot. But the king doesn't have him beheaded, dismisses him. And Schindler concludes, "That's true power." The king could have taken the guy's life but restrained himself. This notion of being more powerful appealed to the German officer who began exercising more constraint, quit shooting people for the slightest offense, puffing up his ego at how much more powerful his actions were in not acting. The weak getting to influence the strong, hold them in check through soft/kind...
Been a while since i've done an I-Ching reading. Switched to the Runes for quick and easy peeks behind the curtain.
Maybe there's something in this for you, maybe no. In any event, glad you're here.

There is some truth into tapping into the spiritual realm I challenge everyone to give it a try...this is what separated Musashi from others in the past it definetely gives you the upper hand during competition or battle if you indeed have tapped into the spiritual realm.

The words he says do not match any I Ching version I've ever heard. And his method of casting six coins doesn't include or take into account any moving lines. It seems very odd to me.

adding to divination a Lilacish haircoloured master had students who would predict Him striking down with the holder of a katana i believe. Although this is not magic if not partially artificial. This is a MUST to write. indeed. Well, there is quite a lot to consider, there was already a lot considered. Feels like i have to add something of value here.. well i have pictured just now a very good mask. Perhaps i write about Zoe, the perfect Chrystal worker girl Whose favourite song is "Walk of life" from "Dire Straits"
