I think it’s hilarious. The people fall for this 1/1 , 1/5 scarcity gimmick that’s gotten completely out of control. The truth is, these are pieces of paper printed for pennies.
Someone needs to archive all those vlogs, and influencer videos from back then and make a documentary in 10 years, those videos will definitely start to be deleted soon enough 😂😂
They have to have access to (whatever it is that they're hyping). That's why it's always stuff like this. The number of fools that actually are in the market for a $7.5k Bijan Robinson shiny 1/1 that's actually more of a 1/15 when you factor in all the idiotic parallel versions, is in the single digits - as in, he's probably just using that thing as hype fodder and taking a loss or hoping the video itself will just get someone to pay up another 500 for it. It's why you don't see these people in the rare, early 2000's on-card HOFer autograph stuff. There's no reliable supply for them to flip because it doesn't show up often - cards that are locked in collections. Flipper cards vs. collector cards. Collectors know long term value. Flippers are only looking to not get caught holding the bag in their search for the greater fool.
Wait...so you have a 'Sports Card Podcast', and also admit that you both don't have deeper knowledge into athletes beyond #1 Players? Confused if you have an honest grasp on how cardboard stock works. Credibility on the subject questionable. Talk sports card, and less ranting on how other collectors are moving.
@@SportsCardRadio You're definitely insecure people. I'm not defending any influencer, but I'm also not spewing slander on any hobby influencer who's continuously boosting the industry we're all earning money in. You both portray yourselves like donkeys. I hate that RUclips threw your sh*t in my recommended.
@@SportsCardRadio Oh well nevermind then, I didn't know you could do that. You shouldn't need to know anything about sports running a sports card channel then. Sorry for the confusion.
A good chunk of the influencer/influencer hater RUclipsrs hardly even know the sport they spend their time and money on. Not being aware of Bijan Robinson is hilarious, you guys are no better than the influencers you try and bury. This is not the "hobby". It's all hype, capitalism and greasy.
how well did knowing the athletes work out for your influencers? Any of them actually make money? At least I'm honest. I've got a family and a day job, this is a hobby.
@@SportsCardRadio They are not "my" influencers, I think you missed the point. All of it is scummy, but you shitting on somebody else as your hobby isn't any better.
There is nothing new under the sun. Internt merely accelerates the cycle(s). Whether i like cc2 or not and generally speaking not a fan of influencers i guarantee cc2 is a better businessman than y'all.
If an influencer promotes anything the general rule should be to run like hell!!!

Going back and watching card show vlogs from 2021 is absolutely brutal. Dudes were spending tens of thousands of dollars on Justin Herbert rookies.

its crazy to see these grown simps beg SCV to tell them what to do. kid is like 20 😂
Has does that little Gnome CC2 have that type of flow? Same goes for Card Show Jesus?
I also noticed influencers are pumping Topps Dynasty recently too.
I thought the card bubble collapsed in the 1990s
These card influencers sucks!

Cant believe Wilson got fleeced on the Ridder - NOBODY who actually watches football thought Ridder would be good lol
Who is Bijan? Are the Falcons in the NFC? Sports fans?
the minuet I stopped caring about 2nd tier NFL running backs and teams I started making life changing money.
I think Bijan will be decent now Cousins is there
Sleazy is appropriate.
do ppl actually buy these randos that no one has even heard of 🤣🤣
Please please. Tell me which failed rookie will have the biggest bounce back season. Please oh great investor.
It's Will Grier, he's a 5 year rookie. This is gonna be his year!
The live chat tho 🤣🔥

I make more in a day than your hobby heroes spend on these cards. Don't have time to keep up with every athlete these days.

How can you not know who Robinson is? Are you even a football fan? He was a top 10 pick in the draft.
I can tell you Nvidia's gross margins for the last 4 quarters.

How do you guys not know who Robinson is? You shouldn’t be making videos on sports cards, comical. 😂
at one time I would know the 3rd RB on each team, but I was broke. Then I started paying attention to the stock market and got rich. Choose rich.
