I did what my husband has told me not to do....I read the comments. It would appear having good manners and thereby respecting yourself and others is some awful and horrible thing. That is a sad commentary on the times. I was happy to find a channel that promotes lady like behaviour and dressing modestly. I have two daughters who I hope to model noble charater traits such as good manners, honesty, self-control, being gracious, and having courage to stand up for your beliefs (such as "Classically Abby" is doing). It is a shame that honor and respect for oneself and others (which is some of the results of practicing good manners) have been lost in this modern age.

Just thought this might be worth sharing about being on phones too much: I found in the past that when I planned out my day and SCHEDULED my screen time for 30 mins - an hour at a time, I enjoyed it, and didn't even want to be on my phone as often. It felt good to be off my phone, and I was able to fill the time with other stuff I wanted or needed to do. When I don't schedule screen time, though, it's the only thing I feel like doing.

It should be exactly how you want it to be. If you don't want to put a ton of thought into it, then don't! 4. Not only can jewelry be extremely annoying, they can be very impractical. And you really shouldn't be sleeping with hoops in, they can get caught in stuff or tangled in your hair. 5. I don't want or need to be good with children. I don't have any, and I don't want any. I have a lot of siblings, and I've never been able to deal with them. Kids don't like me, I don't like kids, and that suits me just fine. 6. The only people who visit my home are close friends and family, since I'm extremely socially anxious. If there were ever a situation that were any different, my fiancee would be doing the hosting. 7. My phone helps me keep track of a lot of things. It reminds me to drink plenty of water, it helps me remember when my period is, I read on it, and when i have panic attacks I have a special playlist on it to help me calm down.

I did what my husband has told me not to do....I read the comments. It would appear having good manners and thereby respecting yourself and others is some awful and horrible thing. That is a sad commentary on the times. I was happy to find a channel that promotes lady like behaviour and dressing modestly. I have two daughters who I hope to model noble charater traits such as good manners, honesty, self-control, being gracious, and having courage to stand up for your beliefs (such as "Classically Abby" is doing). It is a shame that honor and respect for oneself and others (which is some of the results of practicing good manners) have been lost in this modern age.

Just thought this might be worth sharing about being on phones too much: I found in the past that when I planned out my day and SCHEDULED my screen time for 30 mins - an hour at a time, I enjoyed it, and didn't even want to be on my phone as often. It felt good to be off my phone, and I was able to fill the time with other stuff I wanted or needed to do. When I don't schedule screen time, though, it's the only thing I feel like doing.
It's funny how the same people who are complaining about not telling a woman how to act are the same people who literally tell/expect men to be chivalrous/gentleman. 3. Who cares what people think about how your home looks? It should be exactly how you want it to be. If you don't want to put a ton of thought into it, then don't!
4. Not only can jewelry be extremely annoying, they can be very impractical. And you really shouldn't be sleeping with hoops in, they can get caught in stuff or tangled in your hair.
5. I don't want or need to be good with children. I don't have any, and I don't want any. I have a lot of siblings, and I've never been able to deal with them. Kids don't like me, I don't like kids, and that suits me just fine.
6. The only people who visit my home are close friends and family, since I'm extremely socially anxious. If there were ever a situation that were any different, my fiancee would be doing the hosting.
7. My phone helps me keep track of a lot of things. It reminds me to drink plenty of water, it helps me remember when my period is, I read on it, and when i have panic attacks I have a special playlist on it to help me calm down.

She can decide what she want to do with her body, but the fact is that people aren’t telling them that they are murdering babies unlike what people are doing to pro choice supporters by saying that just for deciding they don’t want a clump of cells in them for 10 months, they are murderers. If she wants to be conservative then good for her, but by saying some of the things she is saying she is making other women feel bad for doing what they think is best for themselves and their bodies.

Yes, sin corrupted us but with God's help we don't have to wallow in depravity. In fact, I believe people who don't know God personally can and should still hold themselves to a higher standard. We were all created for better things then base living and vulgar manners. It is a shame that women can't see they are worth more than they believe!!!! They are worth more than being vulgar!!! We are amazing and should act like it!!!
As for Jewellery, I love my pieces and I rotate through my favorites. I am currently wearing my mermaid necklace with my Tie dye T-shirt, straight Jean skirt (knee length), and my golden sandals with a bit of a heel. I believe I combine a classic style with a bit of a rebel spice 😛
One creates a sense of self-worth when one respects oneself and others. We do not find respect when we involve ourselves in vulgar behavior, speech, and dress. It is not powerful or a show of strength to give up on reaching nobler and higher ideals.
Further, we were created by God with strength, beauty and power. We have NEVER needed to become these things because we have always been strong, beautiful and powerful. When we engage in vulgarity we lose our strength and our power and our beauty.

It’s not hurting you or others, If anything; having manners is about being mindful and respectful to not only yourself but those around you. If a “classic” lifestyle isn’t for you; that’s your prerogative, and you’re allowed that option, but she is also allowed that option, and anyone who agrees with her as well.
