Hey Gabby. I think that ON THE FENCE is more than 'undecided'. It can be someone who doesn't know or, simply put, doesn't want to choose which party (politically or not) will they support. Example: many celebrities prefer not to talk about controversial issues and stay ON THE FENCE when they are questioned about politics, feminism, gun control, vaccine, sexuality. Because they believe that if they tell their real opinion they can wind up being criticised or even 'canceled'. Thank you for the lesson!

I think "in the end of the day" is wrong grammar, but I'm no native. ^.^ "At the end" refers to a specific time or location, whilst "in the end" is an idiomatic phrase that means in conclusion or in summary. So you could say: "At the end of the day we went home. In the end, it was a long day."
