HOW TO SPEAK ENGLISH BETTER THAN MOST NATIVE ENGLISH SPEAKERS 😃 | Go Natural English

- When we compare standard, correct English to what native speakers usually use in everyday life, there are plenty of discrepancies! Most people in the United States do not speak perfect English; in fact, many common mistakes are actually accepted forms of speech nowadays.
Many native American English speakers break grammar rules, they use incorrect sentence structure, and they use vocabulary in what most people would consider the wrong way.

Yes
How beautiful you are! I understand your English very well because you speak very clearly and not so fast! But it's not so easy to understand other native speakers.
I myself like to know both versions and learn both.I just hope to remember these words and to use it correctly/properly.
Сергей Щуплев exactly
change the velocity to 1.25 or 1.50
Yeah he is right
I agree with you
I have to congratulate you for this video, Gabby: educational and funny at the same time! The best blend ever. Kudos! Regarding your question "perfection or connection", I'd say that a language is something alive, so maybe connection is the key.
Thanks for this amazing lesson!
Ya!!!
I'm totally agree with you.
Gabby is really ome of the best teacher cause during learing, she gives too funny mood by his communication.
I also wanna improve my English like an native English speaker
Would you help me?
OMG i think i'm gonna cry now !! you make is and was situation clear for me i was confused about them and ahhhhh MANY THANKS GABBY ..kisses
I’m an American and I had no idea about The “who/that” thing I always thought “that” was the correct way lol 😂😂
Absolutely true
Omg! I just found out that I speak English better than so many Americans 😱 yay!!!
I am so glad to know that I was correct on wondering why people don’t use Subjunctive verbs as they should do.
You’re awesome Gabby!!! Hugs from Brazil 🇧🇷
Brazilera :)
Learning English is very easy
Thanks a lot for your useful lesson, Gabby !!!
The effect of this video upon me was I started to feel a little bit more confident speaking English :). Everyone makes mistakes, but only who doesn't let be aftaid of them and keep going can achive high results. Thank you for one more extremely useful video!
Your English is so beautiful! I'm in love with the sound of your voice. Thank you a lot for sharing.
Gabby wallace i love your voice really it's very clearly,i always watched your videos😃😉😐
I do agree with you
You have amazing accent
Actually i understand every word you pronounce it .
Gaby: Usted destila optimismo y es una persona encantadora, es muy agradable verla y escucharla. No tiene igual.
Due to the many years spent in studying English grammar at school (in Italy, UK and USA), it does come more natural to me to use the "correct" way. To speak the incorrect way like a native as you pointed out in this video, I should to concentrate more and, consequently, sound less fluent and natural.
Congratulation for your video lessons, always interesting and helpful. Thank you so much Gabby.
"Me gusta esa vaina" haha fantastic!
Thank you so much for useful information !!!!
An amazing video. This made me feel relieved for the mistakes that I had made, I am making and I will make. You've saved me. How great work you made!
What a good English teacher you are. You have understood the nature of non native and native English speakers.
Hello Gabby !! I think that this vid is the best youtube one i've ever seen..
In the Arab World, we have two versions of Arabic. The formal is considerably different from the informal. But we can't say that it's enough to speak one of them and ignore the other. If you want to communicate with people you must use a widespread informal dialect otherswise you would sound weird. The formal Arabic must be used in journalism, books, TV station, etc..
It's funny that the dialects of informal Arabic are so diverse even within the same country to the extent that there are many local dialects in my country I hardly can understand them. More, I had better use English to speak with somebody from Morroco cos it's imposible to get him/her when they speak in Morrocan informal Arabic !!
Wow! What an amazing tip video!
Thanks Gabby for clarifying those most common use of daily English...
I'd love to more video like this!
Keep up the good work!
Lots of love from Brazil!
I have to say: you made my day sharing your experience about your Spanish lessons and the word "vaina"... You make me laugh A LOT! It's a very common expression in Venezuela... 😎👍🏼
Thanks Gabby
It's easy to undesrtand you,I like to watch the videos, keep doing more videos Like that.
Isa belinha sccp
hello Isa
can I have a conversation with you please?
"Vaina" is where you store a sword and where the beans grows up that is "vaina" but in Venezuela, where I was born, we use "VAINA" when we do not remember the exactly name of any stuff in particular, for example if we are talking about cars and you do not know nothing about cars we exchange the name of that piece of the car with "vaina" but we try to explain what that "vaina" does "the vaina that blows cold air inside the car"
Nice try to explain, but you really need to use punctuation marks correctly man LOL.
*You know nothing*
We never use the word vaina in argentina
That word It doesn't exist and less for that popular use
Thanks for your essential videos Gabby, merely I find them comprehensible and helpful.more and more of its kind.
What great classes!!! In love with you talking in Portuguese the other video!!! ❤️

First of all, I congratulate you and thank you for your good videos. 'Vaina' in Colombia is commonly used in the Caribbean region, but this is also an agricultural instrument.
Seeing you on RUclips makes me feel happy all time. I love you so much.

Beautiful Teacher 😍😘😘
I love you teacher Gaby Wallace.
i fell in love with your accent your English is perfect ! 😍😍 and you're a good Teacher 😙
Using plain English, speaking clearly, enunciating words proficiently, of course, you're a native,
I can easily catch the meaning of what you are saying! even when I'm seeing this video as 1.5x speed. How great teacher you are!
I'm learning words and Grammar rules through "Correct English" but, I wanna speak English as same as it lives in people. :D
Hi Gabby, is it possible that you speak Portuguese better than many Brazilians?
Thanks again for this videos
Aparecido FERREIRA VAIS Sim, fala melhor que muitos brasileiros. ruclips.net/video/4wriCzWl3x0/видео.html
Of course. Brazilians don't even speak well their own language. So, it's really easy to speak better than them
best teacher ever!!!
Thanks for sharing great content! It's kind of hard to find sincere conversation like this!
Hi Gabby, Great video! Yes, I often struggle with choosing the "Correct" or "Common" way! Best, Albert
I think it's better to learn both..
I prefere to use the correct version beacause people always break the rules when should not do that.
Omg I speak Spanish and I laughed so hard in the part of the word “vaina” 😂😂😂 we use it all the time but is very informal, it’s like we’ve invented that word
Great lesson. I appreciated it very much!! Thanks Gabby.👍🙏
In my opinion it depends on the situation. If I am teaching English for the students I have to follow the rules, the patterns which they must learn. When I am talking to my friends,I would use the common version as you said. The class is great. Moreover you remind us how to use the correct form when we speak English.Sometimes these words are tricky that's why we have to practice and write them in diffetent sentences.I would like you to talk about the subjunctive tense and write more senteces.Thank you so much.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts, Daysi! I really appreciate it. I'd like to invite you to join our complete English course to continue to improve your fluency. You can pre register here: gonaturalenglish.com/prereg
could you please tell me the best Group of english practice speakers.
Thanks ❤
when I was learning English in Taiwan, I was taught "If I were you" but after I came to Canada I started to feel what I've been taught was wrong!! But actually I was right all along!
You mean, the subjunctive mood.
Hey Gabby just want to thank you for this lesson... Pretty interesting!
thanks gabby, your vidios answered all the questions in my head and clear my confusing about english all this time...
"Vaina" Is used in Venezuela as informal word I think, so as a Mexican I don't understand what vaina means so in this way it's very weird to hear an American spoken like that
Tony D'arko mexicans don’t use that word
it's used that much in Colombia too. I wonder if she met people from there to learn Spanish.
Si.. vaina, lo usamos en varios contextos pero realmente así se llama la funda donde guardan las espadas ;) eso si es una VAINA! Jajajajajajajajaja
In Spain, where I am, we never use "vaina" in the sense of stuff or things. We use "vaina" as a sheath of something like a nife or even a bean. Also we use it as an adjetive meaning in that case a coward person
completely true what you've said, but mostly of times, honestly, it's not used in a decent meaning, in my case I prefer not to use it because seems too vulgar, greetings!!
Yorlys Arzola I never use that word, that is used just in Colombia or Puerto Rico, I guess..
pedro lasanta me too, In my native country, we use the word ‘vaina’ when we want to refer to the covering of some vegetables, for example: Peas , which is translated as ‘arvejas’. Las arvejas vienen dentro de una vaina.
VAINA ES LO QUE PROTEJE A LOS CACAHUATES FRIJOLES ENTRE HOTRAS SEMILLAS COMESTIBLES Y NO COMESTIBLES,""VAINA""----UNA FUNDA EN INGLES ES UN HOIST, PARA ESPADAZ TAMBIEN PISTOLA Y RIFLE,
Hi Gabby, Great observations! Thank you for sharing them with us! Best, Albert
Ain't the sunshine is great song~~
Thank you very much for your recommendation.
Ain't ain't a word!
😂
Vaina, is more typical of South American speech , in Spain is not common
MrMintjazz that is only common in Caribbean countries
Nah in Venezuela And Ecuador too
Vaina se utiliza en muchos casos, es parte de la variedad y modernidad del lenguaje. Yo lo utilizo informalmente.
Not ALL Southamerica. In Uruguay we never use that word unless if we need to refer to where to keep the sword.
I like the way miss Wallace teaches english, thank's you so much for your help, greentings from Costa Rica.
Your students look these lesson because of your attractiveness and slickness so, your students are loving you. You are good teacher.
I just watch this to make sure my English is good already
)))))))))))))))))))))))))
You have a beautiful eyes.
It’s a very useful lesson! Got confused all the times. Can you do another one like this. Regarding to Plural vs Singular and Tenses :)
Yo no hablo inglés, estoy aprendiendo y me gustó mucho como expones las palabras informales.
Saludos. Hermosa.
I think we should use the correct version while writing. I always try to speak correctly but it's not sound like natives. Maybe natives could think that I am freshy or I am not a native speaker.
Oh, pretty girl
That's a natural rich lesson! OMG! Thanks, Gabby. Well, as an EFL/ESL learner, of course, I want to acquire both the right grammar English Language way of speaking and the "street" one. Languages are living things. Take care!
Hi! Gabby I really enjoy with your videos!
She's got a ticket to ride, but she *don't* care
Beatles!
"she don't care" is wrong, it should be: "she doesn't care" . Isn't it?
Native mistakes are taken for granted. GNE blows my mind.
This lesson is really helpful indeed. I learnt a lot. Thank you.
I know a guy the speaks English well. he speaks English within the grammar rules. his English is spotless.
Every day I see everyday writing mistakes.
"Better than native" That's impossible lol
WOW ! im impressed of good talent which this young lady has.I wish i had that kind of coach when i were learning english.
sincere than you for your effort. I wanna to improve my skills ,fluency.
why american english sounds so vulgar?
For me it sounds a little more funky than say British English.
Don't trust edited comments by the way.
In Latin, "vulgar" means "common". At least 150 million people in the US and Canada speak English natively with dialects that would be classified as "General American", including me. It is the most common super-dialect of English. In contrast, very few people in the UK actually speak with Received Pronunciation (RP), and "Modern RP" is not a thing. The word "received" means "from the ages", like received wisdom. "Modern RP" is actually just "a posh London accent". There are only about 10 to 20 million people who speak with a posh London accent. Cockney is also an accent from London. Notice that what I am calling the posh London accent is actually *more common outside of London* in the rest of the South of England. There are many immigrants in London and also local dialects, like Cockney, just to name one. Similarly, there are 8 million people in New York City, but I suspect less than half of them speak English with a GenAm accent natively and at home.
If you mean "rude", then I would say that any English dialect can sound rude if you want it to. Lily Allen (singer from London) has a British accent and she sounds VERY rude. Listen to her song "LDN" - parental discretion advised, that song is very rude. Notice that Lily Allen has *a* British accent - not RP, and not even a posh London accent. I believe she describes her own accent as "lower class" - or "lowah class" to use a spelling pronunciation. So - the opposite of classy.
Stephen Fry has an "upper crust RP" accent, which is very classy and posh. But he can also make English sound very rude, he is a comedian. Is he on television at noon or at midnight, and is he wearing a suit and tie? If it is midnight and he is dressed casually, he might have something rude or crude to say. And he has the same accent the whole time.
I've been watching your videos since I was in Senior High School back then in Indonesia, even now in Taiwan I still watch some videos because your accent is the one that I'm aiming for, Love it.
I could teach you a full lesson on the word "vaina". We use it a lot down here in Panama. Your sense of humor is great!
Thanks for this video Gabby! So clearly..
I appreciate this video. It's worth watching. Thanks a lot
You're such an amazing teacher. Thank you so much!
Thank you for your videos Gabby, love your channel!
I love this lesson that is incredible so mean and the teacher way beautiful.
Teacher way beautiful
I like your English because I can understand you almost everythink without lirycs, I'm learning English, I really love it.
Hi Gabby ! My thanks to you for your free english lessons is much appreciated ! By the way, you have a million dollar smile !
OMG Where have you been my whole life? I just found you and you have already given me more information than I've received in classes over the years! Besides the pronunciation (the fact that the same letter, even used in a similar word, sounds completely different - subway and subscribe, for example-), English has been so confusing to me because all those common mistakes you've just mentioned! When talking to people I always felt wrong and now I knew they were the ones with the wrong grammar, but I didn't have a clue because everybody (even on tv, here in RUclips...) speak that way. You have no idea how grateful I am with you! And you are such a delight to watch... you speak so well and so funny!. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! ... And yes, "vaina" is not a word you would use in any formal context; it's very common but not a "decent" word.
Wise advices! Thank you beautiful Gaby, your spectacular and terrific eyes are an inspiration for me....
Wow Gabby...I can't help watching your videos....so many interesting things you keep teaching...I've learned so hard.... thank you for that
And thank you so so much for teaching us😘😘😘I like your accent, style and so many many things in you❤️❤️❤️
That lesson is more effective. Thank you very much for taking your precies time to prepare it for us.
I praise God for I found you the best english teacher in the internet.
Essa professora é muito boa mesmo!
Jajajaja I love it when gaby did say " me gusta esa vaina" jajajaja I like when people from EE.UU talk in spanish!!
.
Thank you Gabby for this video, you make my English very well
Hi Gabby! Thanks for another useful video!! Turning to correct English vs. common English I'd choose common if it's okay for specific situation. BUT as native Russian speaker I hate when someone is trying to use odd constructions even if they are common.
LOL when you said " me gusta esa vaina" it's a common expression here in Maracaibo, Venezuela. as you said maybe it's not correct but is very very common to use.
Thank u for clarifying this confusion !
Great your classes! I´ve been following you on Instagram here on youtube. You are one of the best english teachers I´ve ever seen online. Thank you for helping us to improve our english skills. Alexandre from Brazil....
Thanks a lot for this lesson, it's really helpful! I spent more than a year in US, but it's still confusing to figure out when it is appropriate to speak less correctly to sound more natural, and when it would sound just illiterate. Of course, there are some distinctive situations like job interview vs informal party, but usually they're somewhere in between. Personally, since I don't feel this fine line, I've preferred to stick to grammar so far, but I hope that one day I'll learn to switch as easily as native speakers.
Marta Prelle can we practice English together ?.this is my whatsapp number if you want speak with me +201013106889
I M from Dominican Repúblic and de que "vaina" for everything. That Word fit everywhere, everytime...it's like our national Word
Yes ma’am the word “vaina” it’s frequently used in my country, and of course it’s not formal word but it could take a place of a noun or an adjective as an intensifier too or to talk about undetermined stuff or situations..
I love your vids they're pretty helpfull it is very easy to understand you , you speak very clearly
This is the BEST video ever I have seen. Thanks a lot!
