Totally agree. All the afl care about now is money and tv ratings. I've sat in the stands as a club member for the last 20 years and still love most things about the footy, apart from rule changes and the prices. A lot of people have been dropping off around me and it may be a small thing but changing the song may just push people over the edge.
Some clubs did thankfully. These new versions were digitally compressed so they were easier to blast over stadiums but the versions recorded by the Fable Singers in the 1970s (for Victorian teams) are much richer in sound.
